GLCCF Schreck Family Soccer Scholarship

To award annually a scholarship to a qualified applicant who intends to pursue education toward a 4-year college degree.

The J.M. Heberlig/B.J. Helterbran Scholarship Fund, established by dedicated educators, supports Pennsylvania residents pursuing degrees in Art Education or Recreation & Parks. This scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden on students entering their second, third, or fourth year at a 4-year institution. With a focus on academic achievement, a minimum GPA of 2.8 overall and 3.0 in the major is required, alongside a demonstrated commitment to education and community service.

The Toledo Walleye Hockey Club's Wishing Well Fund, managed by the Greater Toledo Community Foundation, invites proposals from nonprofits focused on enhancing children's fitness and wellness from kindergarten to 12th grade. Grants, ranging from $1,500 to $10,000, support programming during cold weather months that promote healthy lifestyles through sports and physical education. Priority is given to projects with educational components and those that have not received prior funding. Limited funds will be awarded on a competitive basis.
