Steve and Carolyn Perry Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for an individual pursuing technical training or certification in advanced manufacturing & will support both career training and career advancement training. The applicant must demonstrate that he or she meets the skill requirements of the training or certification program. Financial need is not required but may be taken into consideration.

Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP) Scholarship

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: be an owner, employee or dependent of an owner or employee of the local branch/site of a company whose membership in PEP is in good standing at the time of the application, selection & awarding of the scholarship to the applicant. Applicants must currently be enrolled at the time of the application as a full or part-time student in a two year or four year accredited technical college, or university for secondary or post-secondary work and have a minimum 3.0 GPA with a declared course of study and major in one of the following: environmental science, environmental planning, environmental engineering, or other related science fields of study, including, but not limited to, all engineering fields, marine science, geoscience, fisheries science, forestry, and estuarine science and management.

The Achievement Annual Scholarship, offered by the CIRI Foundation, supports Alaska Native students pursuing higher education. This merit-based scholarship awards up to $8,000 for one academic year, covering direct educational costs and personal expenses. Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled full-time in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate program. Beverly Joyce White Memorial Scholarship for Hospice Nursing Staff

The scholarship is awarded to hospice nursing staff who are pursuing a certification in hospice palliative care or other related education offerings.

The CIRI Foundation, established in 1982, promotes education and economic self-sufficiency for Alaska Natives through scholarships like the Cap Lathrop Scholarship. This award offers up to $2,000 to full-time students pursuing degrees in fields such as business, engineering, and media. Eligible applicants must be Alaska Native shareholders or descendants, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and intend to work in Alaska's broadcast industry. APA Scholarships

The APA Foundation scholarships aim to make the planning profession more accessible to individuals with limited financial means and to attract the best, brightest, and most talented individuals to the field of planning.

These scholarships are intended for students who demonstrate academic merit, a commitment to the field of planning, and financial need. The expanded eligibility includes students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate planning‑related programs at accredited U.S. institutions, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to broadening access to the profession and strengthening its impact on communities nationwide.

APA Foundation Environmental Scholarship

This scholarship supports students pursuing planning degrees with a focus on environmental or conservation planning. It reflects a commitment to advancing wildlife and environmental conservation through the planning profession and to supporting future planners dedicated to protecting natural resources and sustainable environments. Awards are given to students currently enrolled in degree programs in planning.

The Stickley Scholarship Fund, established by L. & J. G. Stickley, Inc., offers four annual scholarships for graduating high school students who are children of full-time employees with over two years of service. This initiative promotes educational equity by making higher education more accessible, emphasizing the importance of financial need, community service, and academic achievement. Awarded in honor of Edward J. Audi, this scholarship aims to empower students to pursue their academic goals.

Literary Arts Fund

Grants Overview

The Literary Arts Fund will award at least $50 million in grants to the nonprofit literary arts field over the next five years, concluding in 2031.

With a short timeline, the fund’s grantmaking has a strategic focus on the areas of the literary arts ecosystem where it determined it could have the greatest impact— that is: supporting independent U.S.-based literary arts nonprofits whose primary mission is directly serving adult writers of creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and hybrid works in making their artistic work and sharing it with readers outside of school and academic settings. Innovation project grants provide funding to literary arts nonprofits for projects that may be collaborative and that aim to address critical challenges in one or more literary arts nonprofit organizations, presses, or publications that, if improved, would directly benefit creative writers’ artistic work and ability to share it with readers and audiences. These grants are disbursed to nonprofits in a single payment and intended for use during the project period.

The Seymoure, Fred and Mildred (Young) Memorial Scholarship Fund offers a $500 scholarship to a Central Noble High School senior or graduate, or a resident of the Albion area pursuing a BS or MS in education. Established by the Noble County Community Foundation, this fund aims to support future educators in making a positive impact in their communities. The USS ST. LOUIS (LCS 19) Scholarship, established by the Commissioning Committee in 2020, supports crew members and their dependents pursuing undergraduate degrees or technical training. Administered by The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, it awards up to $12,000 annually, renewable for up to ten semesters. This initiative honors the commitment of the USS ST.
