Savage Scholarship Fund

An opportunity that is paid out over 4 semesters for Shasta and Trinity high school students with financial need.

Pat and Jackie Savage established the Savage Scholarship Fund to help motivated students who want a better life for themselves, and to give them a chance to join the world of work as soon as possible with training and confidence. Renewable awards will be given to students who demonstrate initiative, maintain a C-average GPA, and who wish to go to an eligible college or trade school. Graduating high school seniors from Southern Trinity High School, Hayfork High School, Trinity High School, Anderson High School, Anderson New Technology High School, Enterprise High School, Shasta High School, and West Valley High School are invited to apply.

The NSF STEM K-12 program supports transformative research to enhance STEM education across various settings. Shasta Community Health Center Future Workforce Scholarship Fund

Shasta Community Health Center’s Future Workforce Scholarship is available for staff of Shasta Community Health Center, their children, and grandchildren. This scholarship will support high school seniors, college students (two- or four-year school), and trade students pursuing higher education in any field, either at a two- or four-year college or trade school.

The USTA: Adult Social Play Grant aims to enhance adult participation in tennis through social programming that promotes fun and inclusivity. It supports various drop-in events, leagues, and creative venues, encouraging both new and seasoned players to engage with the sport. By fostering a welcoming environment, this grant helps instill a love for tennis in future generations, increasing the number of social leagues and events across communities.

The USTA Facility Services Grant Program offers comprehensive support for developing and maintaining tennis facilities. Whether you're planning a new construction or need repairs, this program provides essential business and technical services, such as financial forecasting and facility assessments. Additionally, you can access advocacy resources and digital tools to enhance operations. The USS ST. LOUIS (LCS 19) Scholarship, established by the Commissioning Committee in 2020, supports crew members and their dependents pursuing undergraduate degrees or technical training. Administered by The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, it awards up to $12,000 annually, renewable for up to ten semesters. This initiative honors the commitment of the USS ST. LOUIS crew while fostering educational advancement and community engagement.

The Seymoure, Fred and Mildred (Young) Memorial Scholarship Fund offers a $500 scholarship to a Central Noble High School senior or graduate, or a resident of the Albion area pursuing a BS or MS in education. Established by the Noble County Community Foundation, this fund aims to support future educators in making a positive impact in their communities. Since 1991, the foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Noble County.

The Equus Veterinary Research Fellowship, established by the Equus Foundation and The Foundation For The Horse, offers a $5,000 scholarship and a $500 travel stipend to support equine research.
