The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is offering grants to support the development of new and existing cooperatives in Wisconsin, with a goal of fostering the success of current and future cooperatives by supporting planning and exploratory research in advance of making a large investment.Applicants may use the funds to cover consulting fees for business planning, feasibility studies, legal services, and accounting services to help new or existing cooperatives become established or further develop.

Homeless Case Management Services Grant (HCMS)The Homeless Case Management Services (HCMS) grant provides intensive case management services to eligible families experiencing homelessness. The program is funded through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant program and created through Wisconsin Act 59, statue §16.3085. All HCMS funds must be administered in accordance with applicable TANF requirements, rules, and regulations.
HCMS supports shelter facilities and motel voucher programs serving families experiencing homelessness. The HCMS program helps eligible families experiencing homelessness receive intensive case management services designed to support housing stability. Services focus on practical areas that can help families move towards stability.
The State Shelter Subsidy Grant (SSSG) program assists individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness by providing grants to local agencies in Wisconsin that provide emergency shelter and supportive services. Emergency shelter programs applying for this grant must have a need for additional funding due to the renovation/expansion of an existing shelter facility, the development of an existing building into a shelter facility, the expansion (or development) of shelter services, or the inability of a shelter program to obtain adequate funding to continue providing their existing level of service.

The Urban Nonpoint Source & Storm Water (UNPS&SW) Management Grant Program offers competitive grants to local governments for the control of pollution from diffuse urban sources that is carried by storm water runoff. Grants from the UNPS&SW Program reimburse costs of planning or construction projects controlling urban nonpoint source and storm water runoff pollution. Funds are typically awarded for either construction or planning projects. The grant period is 2 years. Projects funded by these grants are sitespecific, serve areas generally smaller in size than a subwatershed, and are targeted to address highpriority problems. The construction and planning applications are offered on alternate years.

The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications for funding to support suicide prevention programming focused on improving the quality of clinical care in health and behavioral health care systems.
The intended geographic area to be covered is the entire state.
The population of focus is adults with serious mental illness (SMI). Adults with SMI are a priority population under the original funding source for this grant, the federal Community Mental Health Services Block Grant. Federal law defines adults with SMI as people age 18 and over, who currently or at any time during the past year have had a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder of sufficient duration to meet diagnostic criteria specified within the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, and the diagnosable disorder has resulted in functional impairment which substantially interferes with or limits one or more major life activities.
