Search Through Grants for Veteran Nonprofit Organizations in Texas

The Community Impact Grants, offered by the Texas Capital Bank Foundation, are aimed at supporting Texas-based nonprofits that provide essential services to low- and moderate-income communities. The H-E-B Community Investment Program supports nonprofit organizations within its service area by providing monetary funding, volunteers, or in-kind donations. It prioritizes projects in arts, education, health, and social services. Eligible organizations must have valid 501c3 status and reapply annually for funding. The 1687 Foundation's Hunting & Fishing Ministry offers healing and refuge through outdoor activities for those in need, including disabled children and veterans. All events are provided at no cost in a beautiful ranch setting near Abilene, Texas. Participants experience God's creation while engaging in these enriching activities. The Foundation collaborates with similar nonprofit organizations to extend its outreach and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in these life-changing events.

The CoServ Charitable Foundation Grant supports nonprofit organizations in North Texas, focusing on basic human needs, community vitality, and education. Since its inception in 2004, the foundation has awarded nearly $20 million to various causes, including food assistance and support for first responders. Eligible projects must be within the CoServ service area, while municipalities and first responders can apply during any cycle. Notably, general operating funds, capital campaigns, and salary support are ineligible for consideration.

The Southwest Intervention Fund, managed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, supports preservation efforts of traditional cultures across Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, West Texas, and Utah. • Education and workforce readiness: Supporting career prosperity through student competency and skill building, college and career readiness, educational access and success, credential building and employment and educator training and resources.
• Financial wellness: Supporting financial prosperity through K-12 and college financial education, adult and workforce financial empowerment.
• Arts and culture: Organizations that promote visual or performing arts, historic or science museums, zoos, botanical gardens, libraries, parks or public radio and television.
• Service members and Veterans: Organizations that have a primary mission of supporting U.S. military service members and veterans.
• Individuals with disabilities: Organizations that have a primary mission of supporting individuals with disabilities.

Regions Matching Gifts for Recent Retirees

Retirees of Regions and its affiliated companies are eligible for the Matching Gift Program for up to 5 years after retirement (the gift date must be within the first 5 years of retirement). Regions will match donations of $25 or more, up to a total of $1,000 per year per retiree.
