Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Fast Track Grant
The Fast-Track Grant is a quick turnaround grant of $2,500 to $10,000 to support efforts and organizations that promote the health, wellness, or disease prevention of persons in our nine-county service area. This region includes Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce Counties in Idaho; Asotin, Garfield and Whitman Counties in Washington; and, Wallowa County in Oregon. While any organization can apply, Fast-Track Grants are especially intended for small, health and wellness focused nonprofits with annual operating budgets of under $250,000 that are serving our most rural communities.
Funds can be used to support programs and projects, capital expenses, capacity building, or general operating costs. Funds are awarded monthly and must be spent within a year from being granted. Organizations can apply for one Fast Track Grant per year per purpose. Please note: Fast Track Grants are subject to eligibility, fit, and available funds. The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation reserves the right to deny funding to organizations that are not a clear fit with our purpose.
2026 Fast Track Timeline:
The Fast-Track grant season will open March 1st and it will remain open until the Fast Track grant fund allocation for 2026 is used up. Applicants are typically notified within 60 days whether or not their application has been approved.

- Increase the supply of affordable homes
- Advance racial equity after decades of systematic racism in housing
- Support residents and strengthen communities to be resilient to the unpredictable, and make upward mobility possible

National Housing Innovation Grant Competition
Home is foundational. It’s where we plant roots, raise and care for our families, and build community bonds. Yet in every corner of the country, millions of people of all ages and backgrounds need a home they can afford.
Wells Fargo is meeting this moment with a powerful grant opportunity. Together with Enterprise, Wells Fargo has launched the third iteration of the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge. The 2026 cycle of the housing innovation competition will identify and propel proven, ready-to-scale solutions that transform current practices and increase housing choice and access.
Eligible applicants will compete for five individual grants of $2 million to advance their innovation and drive meaningful, systems-level change in the housing and adjacent industries. Winners will gain access to mentorship and coaching from industry leaders and experts and join a powerful network of Breakthrough Challenge innovators.
Focus Areas
This third cycle of the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge aims to meet the nation’s affordable housing challenges across all types of communities: Native, rural, suburban, tribal, and urban.
Proposals must encompass one or more of three focus areas:
- Design and Construction
- Finance
- Service Delivery and Programs
Applicants will be asked to show how their proof of concept or pilot program has achieved clear outcomes and success, and provide a clear pathway to expanding the innovation’s reach and impact
Round 1: Criteria and Scoring
Your innovation must meet the criteria below to advance to the official scoring stage.

- Suburban
- Tribal
Location
Priority scoring will be given to applications from entities that are based in – or whose innovations are designed for – one or more of these 28 states, plus D.C.:
- Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C.
Affordability
Innovations must serve residents at these income levels:
- Rental: 80% AMI or below
- Homeownership: 120% AMI or below
- Workforce housing: 120% AMI or below

Child & Family Mental Well-Being Grants
To qualify for Child and Family Mental Well-Being funding, your program or service must focus on families with children. Funding priority areas include:
- Mental well-being for children, including: reducing suicide deaths; reducing frequent mental distress, anxiety, and depression; decreasing substance misuse
- Advance prevention and early intervention addressing risk and protective factors
- Expand comprehensive, family-centered, mental well-being programs
- Build trauma-informed systems for young children including evidence-based prevention, behavioral health treatment, or related interventions or programs
- Strengthen community behavioral health capacity and collaborations through coalition-building
Requirements
- A full and complete financial audit conducted within the last two years. Submission must include the entire audit, including any findings and the auditor's letter
- A copy of the organization's 501(c)(3) designation letter or a comparable government designation
- A completed W9
- A completed Supplier Form (a blank copy will be provided in the application)
Additional information
- In Utah and Idaho, applicants can request a total grant award between $5,000 to $100,000 per year for 3 years (up to $300,000 total) for the entire project period. Projects can last between 12 and 36 months and must begin upon receipt of funding.
- In Colorado, Montana, and Nevada, applicants can request a total grant award between $5,000 to $50,000 per year for 2 years (up to $100,000 total) for the entire project period. Projects can last between 12 and 36 months and must begin upon receipt of funding.
- A funding request may not exceed 20 percent of an organization’s annual operating budget, e.g., to be eligible for a $50,000 grant, your organization’s annual operating budget must be at least $250,000.
- In general, small equipment and materials are eligible at no more than a total $5,000 cost, but large equipment, construction, and capital costs are not eligible. Consideration will be given if computer equipment is necessary and vital to the success of the project.

Social Drivers of Health Grants

- Improve nutrition security
- Improve stable and quality housing through wraparound and support services

- A copy of the organization's 501(c)(3) designation letter or comparable government designation

- A completed Supplier Form (a blank copy will be provided in the application)
Additional information
- Applications will be accepted for new or existing programs that clearly address a social driver of health. New programs may include pilot initiatives.
