Connecticut 501(c)(3) nonprofits addressing domestic violence and related human services can seek program, capacity-building, or capital support, with awards up to US $25,000. Focused on safety, housing, basic needs, and community well-being, Northwest Community Bank Foundation invites organizations serving its listed communities to strengthen services for individuals and families in crisis.

The Regional Impact Grants aim to empower youth and promote basic needs within communities in Southeast Connecticut. Connecticut 501(c)(3) nonprofits providing domestic violence, survivor support, or related youth and mental health services can apply for Mildred's Dream Foundation grants up to US $25,000 for specific programs or projects. Awards may also cover limited operating and staff costs tied to program delivery, and organizations serving children with access, diversity, or inclusion needs may be eligible.

Students working to prevent dating violence or domestic abuse, including those in Connecticut, can access funding through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois’ Amanda Reed Memorial Scholarship. This initiative focuses on addressing domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, and caregiver abuse against individuals with disabilities and Deaf individuals, enhancing direct services and support for these vulnerable populations.

The Preventing Violence Affecting Young Lives (PREVAYL 2.0) initiative aims to provide multiyear funding for state and local health departments to implement violence prevention strategies for adolescents and young adults. Key focuses include enhancing data-driven decision-making, building capacity for evidence-based strategies, integrating youth mental health support, fostering multisector collaborations, and prioritizing the prevention of various forms of violence, ensuring comprehensive support for youth development.

The OVW Fiscal Year 2026 Electronic Service Protection Order Court Pilot Program supports state and Tribal courts in implementing electronic communication methods for serving protection orders. This initiative, part of the Violence Against Women Act, aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of protection order enforcement, ensuring safety for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
