The 2025-2026 AWARE Texas Expansion Consortium Grant Program aims to enhance mental health services for school-aged youth facing behavioral health challenges. Carney’s Kids Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults through financial support and positive publicity for non-profit organizations. By hosting community events and fundraising activities, the foundation partners with over 50 charities to enhance children's physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Their mission includes providing educational assistance and supporting families in need, ensuring disadvantaged children have pathways to realize their potential. This commitment reflects a holistic approach to child welfare in the community.

The Mental Health Screening in Schools-Year 3 program, funded by the New Jersey Department of Education, aims to support Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in implementing depression screening for students in grades seven to twelve. This initiative provides essential resources to identify at-risk students and promote mental health awareness. With funding ranging from $66,909 to $90,264, the program seeks to enhance academic performance and well-being among students, with the project period running from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

The JBF Do Good Grant, established by the Joe Burrow Foundation, aims to support innovative projects that assist underprivileged children, particularly those facing mental health challenges and food insecurity. The Kinderhaven Foundation Grant supports organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of children in Bonner and Boundary Counties. The Youth Telepsychiatry initiative by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services aims to enhance access to mental health care for pediatric, child, and adolescent patients through telepsychiatry. By funding hospitals and clinics, this program seeks to address the critical shortage of child psychiatrists in Wisconsin, especially highlighted in the 2019 Behavioral Health Gaps Report. The Highmark Foundation's School Grants Program offers up to $7,500 for schools in Pennsylvania and West Virginia to enhance children's health and well-being. The Andrew and Alice Fischer Charitable Trust, administered by First American Bank in Dundee, IL, focuses on funding education for individuals with various challenges, as well as programs for children, seniors, and U.S. veterans. Grants are primarily awarded to organizations in the greater Chicago metropolitan area that face difficulties in securing funding from other sources. This trust aims to support those in need and enhance community welfare.

The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation Grant aims to enhance the quality of life for children and young adults facing mental and physical challenges. By supporting registered charitable organizations that align with its mission, the foundation seeks to ensure that 100% of grant funds directly benefit those in need within the US. May Family Foundation Mental Health & Counseling Grant

Our foundation strives to be engaged in our local communities beyond grant funding. We support select programs that align with our goals and form a connection through potential volunteering opportunities, site visits, and recognition of successes.

We welcome grant applications for financial support in mental health and counseling:

• Programs and services that improve life for those with physical and mental challenges.
• We support programs that help students deal with a mental health diagnosis and life stressors, to help navigate the changes that occur during early childhood development through college.

Youth Initiative Grant

The Community Foundation of Snohomish County is pleased to announce the opening of the Youth Initiative Grant program, which will offer grants of up to $5,000 each. These grants are intended to support youth programming in Snohomish County, and the grants are not renewable for a second year.

As funding is limited, priority will be given to specific types of programs. 

Funding Priorities

Priority will be given to:

• Organizations with budgets of $1 million or less.
• Grants written by youth. Currently running programs that provide support without requiring increased outcomes or expanded services. The goal is to sustain and strengthen existing efforts without the pressure to scale.
• Programs that are tailored to the unique experiences and serve youth who are intersectionally marginalized, such as LGBTQ+ BIPOC youth, immigrant and refugee youth with disabilities, youth living in rural communities etc. Programs of these groups.
• Organizations offering mental health support, including trauma-informed care, peer support networks, or youth-led mental health initiatives that help youth build resilience and coping strategies for dealing with significant stressors.
• Youth-led healing circles or restorative justice programs that focus on community building, cultural resilience, and healing for youth from marginalized backgrounds.
• Organizations that actively involve youth in all aspects of their programming and leadership, including but not limited to policy and program development, advocacy, having youth on committees and/or boards etc.
• Programs that focus on digital literacy, technology access, and online skills development, especially for rural and low-income youth who may have limited access to digital resources.
• Organizations offering arts-based programs, such as music, visual arts, theater, or cultural projects, that allow youth to explore their identities, share their stories, and engage in community-based creative expression.
• Programs that focus on career development, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth, particularly those from low-income or marginalized communities, to help create sustainable pathways for future success.
• Youth-led projects, including community organizing, advocacy, and social impact initiatives that empower youth to drive social change within their communities.
• Programs that pair youth with older adults to promote mutual learning, cultural exchange, and community solidarity.
