Mission

The mission of The IRONMAN Foundation is to make a positive and lasting impact through the provision of grant funding and volunteerism. This commitment is realized by offering support to a diverse range of charitable organizations worldwide, including areas such as athletics, community, health, and public benefit.

Community Grant Program

The IRONMAN Foundation Community Grant program supports organizations within select North American and international race communities.

Grant funding provides an opportunity to create positive, tangible change in our race communities and leave the IRONMAN Legacy behind long after race day.

Since 2003, over $60 million has been provided through giveback programs led by the IRONMAN Foundation to more than 10,000 local, regional, national and global nonprofit initiatives.

Resorts World Las Vegas is dedicated to enhancing community welfare through its Community Partnership Grant. This initiative focuses on partnering with non-profits to foster collaboration and support for those in need. Eligible organizations must provide a valid 501(c)(3) status and can only submit one request per year. Given the high volume of applications, not all requests can be fulfilled. Requests must be submitted online at least eight weeks prior to any planned event.

The Resorts World Las Vegas Community Partnership Grant supports local non-profits, emphasizing collaboration and community engagement. Applications for partnerships can be submitted year-round but are reviewed annually from September 1 to October 15. Eligible organizations must provide a valid 501(c)(3) tax-exempt form and tax-ID. While the grant aims to accommodate requests, it cannot guarantee fulfillment due to high demand. This initiative represents Resorts World's commitment to fostering positive community relations and supporting those in need.

The Hometown Partners Giving Circle Grant Program aims to strengthen communities in Aurora, Marionville, and Verona by fully funding impactful projects. The program, managed by the Aurora Area Community Foundation, invites nonprofit organizations to submit proposals. Eligible applicants include IRS-approved entities that serve the local area and can attend a check presentation on May 17, 2025. Grant submissions are accepted from March 17 to April 11, 2025, fostering collaboration and community enhancement.

The Akron Community Foundation offers capital grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for facility renovations and essential equipment purchases. Grants range from $2,500 to $25,000 and require at least 50% of project funds to be secured prior to application. Since 2018, $880,000 has been invested in community improvements, prioritizing projects in arts, health, and sustainability, particularly those benefiting Summit County residents and addressing historical inequalities.

The Monarch Mountain Community Outreach Matching Donation Program, funded by the Chaffee County Community Foundation, encourages season pass holders and employees to support local charities. Donations between $25 and $500 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, with a maximum of $1,000 per organization annually. This initiative aims to foster community spirit and amplify the impact of individual contributions towards charitable, civic, and educational causes in Chaffee County.

The Community Foundation of Boone County offers the Community Enrichment Grant to enhance the quality of life for residents, business owners, and visitors in Zionsville. Established in 1991, the foundation has granted over $30 million to support local nonprofits. This grant aims to address unmet needs in the community through partnerships with local organizations. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with awards made semi-annually on March 30 and September 30.

The David Sursa Leadership Award, established by the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, honors exceptional leaders who impact the community positively. This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate commitment and service to Delaware County, reflecting the values of its first Board President, David Sursa. A $2,500 grant is awarded to the nominating organization in the recipient's honor, fostering continued philanthropy and community engagement.

Central Kentucky Community Foundation Grant

CKCF strives to enhance communities by uniting people and investing resources through philanthropy. We are committed to building philanthropic resources that will enrich the lives of people who live in our nine-county region encompassing Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, and Washington counties. One of the ways we carry out this work is through a meaningful and impactful grants program.

The nonprofit organizations serving our communities provide vital services and opportunities making this a great place to call home. Our nonprofits work to help fulfill their mission and bring new opportunities to our community, but serving a growing region comes with challenges. To meet the ever-changing needs of our community, CKCF’s Granted program offers funding opportunities to our local nonprofits.

This program offers grant funding in three categories:

• Capacity Building: funding organizational and financial stability, program quality, and growth, allowing nonprofits to carry out their mission more effectively.
• Capital Improvement: funding essential items to help organizations fulfill their mission. These grants are typically a one-time expense.
• Programming: funding ideas or expand existing programs that align with the mission of the organization.

Funding

Organizations may apply for funding in only one category for up to $7,500. Additionally, we will offer the opportunity for a “stretch” ask for up to $10,000 enabling nonprofits to receive additional funding to strengthen their project.

The CRDA Government Grants aim to stimulate economic growth and community development in Atlantic City. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) non-profits with a proven track record of community service. These grants support projects that will directly benefit local residents, enhancing tourism and revitalization efforts. Ineligible expenses include operational costs and prior agreements. The CRDA is committed to leveraging public and private investments to create sustainable initiatives that will attract visitors and improve the quality of life in Atlantic City.

The FTSC Community Grants aim to enhance the quality of life in the Tri-State area by providing funding for innovative projects that strengthen non-profits and address significant community challenges. Eligible organizations, including 501(c)(3) charities, can apply for these grants, with a focus on improving management capacity and testing new solutions. The Foundation awards grants biannually, ensuring a responsive approach to community needs.

The Community Foundation of Boone County offers an Unrestricted Grant Opportunity to support local nonprofits with grant amounts up to $10,000. Applications will be accepted from August 26 to September 10, 2025, with recipients notified by the end of October. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life in Boone County by addressing unmet community needs through strategic philanthropic partnerships.

The Community Foundation of Boone County offers a Programming Grant Opportunity to support local nonprofits in addressing community needs. Eligible organizations can submit one application per cycle and will have one year to utilize the grant funds. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life in Boone County by funding programs that tackle local challenges and their root causes.

The Boone REMC Operation Round Up Grant provides up to $10,000 to eligible nonprofits within the Boone REMC service territory, focusing on community service, economic development, education, youth programs, environment, and disaster relief. Since 1936, Boone REMC has supported local initiatives through member contributions, enhancing community welfare. Grants are awarded bi-monthly, encouraging impactful projects that directly benefit the local area.

The Western Indiana Community Foundation offers Rapid Response Grants aimed at enhancing community services and supporting local nonprofits in Fountain and Vermillion Counties. This streamlined grant process encourages proposals from tax-exempt organizations addressing diverse community needs, including health, education, and cultural affairs. The Foundation prioritizes projects that demonstrate community impact and collaboration, ensuring funds are utilized effectively to meet urgent local needs. Applications are accepted monthly, fostering timely support for vital initiatives.

The Western Indiana Community Foundation's Impact Grants support local organizations in Fountain and Vermillion Counties. With a focus on community needs, the foundation funds a variety of projects, including startup costs, one-time initiatives, and capital needs. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations and those in good standing. The grant process aims to address county-wide issues while encouraging partnerships that enhance community services and improve quality of life for residents.

The Western Indiana Community Foundation offers Legacy Grants aimed at supporting a variety of community needs through unrestricted funds. With a focus on local organizations in Fountain and Vermillion Counties, the grants prioritize projects that enhance community services, address significant issues, and foster partnerships. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations and certain non-profit entities, while ensuring that funded projects benefit the local population directly. The application process is designed to be thorough yet responsive to community requirements.

The Hoʻākoakoa Lāhui Event Sponsorship Program aims to support nonprofit organizations in Hawaiʻi by providing funding for events that benefit the Native Hawaiian community. With a maximum budget request of $15,000, the program encourages events that promote cultural practices, community engagement, and public resources. Eligible events include award ceremonies, community gatherings, and fundraisers, ensuring they align with the mission of enhancing the lifestyle and entitlements of Native Hawaiians.

The Bloomfield Greater Together Community Fund Grant, established by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, aims to empower local organizations by providing financial support for projects that benefit Bloomfield residents. Eligible organizations must be classified as 501c3 or have a fiscal sponsor. The fund seeks to foster community ownership, encourage civic engagement, and strengthen the Hartford Foundation's presence in the town. This initiative is vital for building inclusive and vibrant communities in Greater Hartford.

The Spotlight Miami Grant aims to empower non-profit organizations that significantly impact Miami-Dade County. This one-year grant supports emerging charities with annual budgets of $2 million or less, encouraging them to apply for funding that can transform their operations. Applicants can reapply every three years, with funding requests limited to half of their operating budget, ensuring that the funds are directed toward meaningful initiatives in the community.

The Suffield Greater Together Community Fund Grant, established by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, offers financial support to enhance community ownership and engagement in Suffield. With grants ranging from $250 to $7,500, the fund encourages initiatives that benefit local residents and foster civic participation. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) exempt or use a fiscal sponsor, ensuring that funding directly supports community-driven projects.

The Marilyn and William Young Foundation Grant aims to foster a vibrant community by supporting leadership development, accessible arts experiences, family support systems, and community grants. Eligible applicants must be recognized 501(c)(3) organizations, focusing on innovative strategies that enhance economic opportunities and well-being. The foundation prioritizes initiatives that impact citizens in Owensboro/Daviess County, and does not support discriminatory practices or funding for operating costs.

The Columbia Basin Foundation Grants support charitable initiatives within Grant, Adams, and Lincoln Counties, offering up to $2,000 per application. The foundation aims to inspire charitable giving that enhances community life, focusing on areas such as youth programs, women and children in crisis, environmental projects, community projects, and animal shelters. To apply, organizations must provide relevant documentation, ensuring funds are directed towards meaningful local impacts.

The City of Richland's Community Development Block Grant program provides essential funding to support affordable housing and community development initiatives for low- and moderate-income residents. With an anticipated annual grant of $295,000 over five years (2025-2029), this program focuses on public services, construction of public facilities, and rehabilitation of structures. The funding strategy is outlined in a Consolidated Plan developed through community consultation, ensuring that local needs are met effectively.

Community Impact Grants

Community Impact Grants provide support to nonprofits working to address the needs of under-resourced individuals, families, and communities in our regional footprint.

Our Community Impact Grant opportunity is focused serving children, families, and communities most impacted by poverty. In 2026, there will be one cycle to apply. Eligible nonprofits in our region may apply for unrestricted funding. If you have received funding through the Summer Initiatives grant, you still may apply for Community Impact Grants. If you have received a 2025 multi-year award, you will not be eligible to apply in 2026.

Funding considerations will prioritize requests that address under-resourced populations in our region such as children and adolescents, low-income seniors, returning citizens, immigrants, victims of domestic abuse, and others.

The Big Nova Grant supports Central Florida organizations dedicated to impactful community initiatives. The foundation invites proposals that align with its mission, particularly in wildlife conservation, patient support, and uplifting the less fortunate. With ongoing funding decisions, projects demonstrating significant potential and innovation are prioritized. Eligibility requires a minimum of two years of operation in the region, with an emphasis on collaborative efforts for meaningful change. Join us in making a difference through your ideas.

ETC's Community Betterment Committee Funding Grant provides financial support to non-profit organizations across the United States. Established in 1975, ETC focuses on fostering community initiatives by awarding grants up to $5,000 semi-annually. The selection process is conducted by a committee of employee volunteers, ensuring that funds are allocated to a variety of deserving causes. This initiative reflects ETC's commitment to enhancing community welfare and supporting local initiatives.
