Military Family Relief Fund

What is the Arizona Military Family Relief Fund?

The Arizona Military Family Relief Fund (MFRF) was created to provide financial assistance to active duty service members, Veterans, and their families for unforeseen financial hardships caused by the service member’s military service. MFRF is open to both pre 9/11 and post 9/11 service members. MFRF is designed to bridge the gap for basic living expenses caused by unforeseen circumstances. Basic living expenses include, but are not limited to rental assistance, vehicle payments, utility assistance, etc. Common finances not covered by MFRF are VA debts, education, child support, credit cards, legal fees, etc.

The BioLEAP Classroom Grant, funded by the National Anti Vivisection Society, provides educators with up to $1,000 to purchase humane anatomy models, replacing traditional animal dissection methods. This initiative supports the use of innovative learning tools like 3D digital models and synthetic specimens, enhancing educational experiences while promoting ethical practices in science education. Eligible applicants must be U.S. educators teaching an anatomy lab in the upcoming school year.

Projects should also address emerging issues and incorporate education on new or recent legislation affecting VRUs. Funding may support community engagement efforts that directly involve affected populations in planning future programs.

DUI Courts Program

Development and facilitation of a DUI Court system, including judicial training in the area of DUI courts, establishment of new probation officers to monitor DUI court participants, and necessary equipment.

Community Development Finance Authority

The Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) is a statewide, nonprofit authority focused on maximizing the value and impact of community development, economic development, and clean energy initiatives throughout New Hampshire. The organization leverages a variety of financial and technical resources, including the competitive deployment of grant, loan, and equity programs.

Low-Moderate Income Solar Grant Program

This program will expand opportunities for New Hampshire residents with limited income to access the benefits of solar and other cost saving energy resources, through housing and community organizations who provide support to these residents. Funding will include grants and coordinated low-interest financing. The program intends to meet the following objectives:

• Provide financing that creates new opportunities for low-and-moderate income (LMI) households to access cost saving energy technologies in their housing or through the community facilities that serve them. These households must benefit from associated cost reductions or benefits as outlined in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) guidance for Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) and owners of properties participating in HUD Multifamily Assisted Housing programs regarding the treatment of financial benefits received from participation in community solar energy programs or the presence of on-site solar facilities.

• Enable organizations that are already planning capital projects and serving residents from low-andmoderate income households to expand their long-term facilities investments by supporting their transition to clean energy.

• Afford the opportunity for non-taxable entities that have eligible projects with the benefits of owning a solar system to increase access to cost saving energy project financing by providing a single source for grant and loan resources.

• Leverage public and private capital from CDFA’s existing financing resources.

Each applicant entity is eligible to receive one award through this program.

Quick Support for Artists

Provides artists with up to $1,000 for activities such as purchasing supplies, attending classes, and small artist-led community projects. All arts disciplines are accepted, and artists at any stage of their career may apply.

The SMAC Artist Growth Grants support artists at any career stage in the SW MN region, promoting artistic development and audience expansion. Grants of up to $4,000 cover costs such as supplies, mentorship, workshops, and studio rentals. Eligible applicants must be permanent residents of the area, at least 18 years old, and may have only one pending application at a time. Ineligible projects include those lacking an art focus or tied to for-profit activities.

The Idaho Commission for Libraries offers Continuing Education Grants aimed at enhancing the skills of library staff in Idaho. These grants, funded by the Library Services and Technology Act, support various educational activities including First-time Conference Attendance, Library Science Courses, Leadership Development, and Group Training. Eligible applicants are encouraged to submit their applications at least 30 days before their event. This initiative helps libraries better serve their communities.

The Idaho Commission for Libraries offers the E-Rate & Broadband Grant Program, which helps public libraries cover internet service costs. Libraries can receive significant discounts on eligible services through the E-rate program, with state reimbursements available for the remaining costs. Timely submission of invoices is crucial for eligibility. This funding opportunity is vital for enhancing digital access in Idaho's libraries, ensuring they can provide essential online resources to their communities.

The Women’s Foundation of Oklahoma is launching its 2025 grant cycle aimed at empowering women and girls across the state. This initiative emphasizes collaboration among nonprofits, educational institutions, and communities to address critical issues and maximize impact. Eligible organizations include 501c3 nonprofits in good standing or higher education institutions, provided they have representation at the 2025 WFO Convening. This grant cycle seeks to drive meaningful change and foster sustainable development in Oklahoma.

Conservation projects of statewide significance are eligible for VHCB Conservation Project funding. These include natural areas that provide habitat for rare or endangered species, acquisition of lands to provide public access to trails or water, greenways, or acquisition of important historic properties for public use.

The Bristol Bay Foundation offers a Higher Education Scholarship Program supporting both full-time and part-time students pursuing 4-year or advanced degrees. Eligible applicants must be shareholders of the BBNC or their descendants, have a high school diploma or GED, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. Scholarships are based on academic performance and life experiences, with applications due in April for the next academic year.

PCCD Victims Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP)

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency's (PCCD) Victims Compensation Assistance Program is designed to support individuals who have suffered physical, emotional, or financial harm due to a crime. This program offers financial aid for various expenses to help alleviate the financial burden on victims and their families.

On average, VCAP receives over 12,000 new claims and pays an average $13 million per year on behalf of crime victims. VCAP is able to reimburse insurance co-pays, out-of-network expenses and other out-of-pocket costs.

2026-2027 ESC Texas Instructional Leadership (TIL) Mentorship Grant

Program Purpose, Goals, and Objectives

The purpose of this grant is to provide for ESC-to-ESC mentorship with regards to ESCs’ efforts to implement Texas Instructional Leadership (TIL) training in their regions for the benefit of campuses and school systems participating in school improvement activities. The participating ESC will provide yearlong guidance, training, and coaching to other ESCs to support building, developing, and deploying their TIL teams. One ESC will receive grant funds to provide mentorship support to nineteen other ESCs.

The Career-Focused Vocational Education (CFVE) Scholarship Program supports Bristol Bay Native Corporation shareholders and their descendants in pursuing vocational training for careers such as piloting, maritime, and cosmetology. This initiative emphasizes cultural heritage and aims to enhance long-term employment opportunities in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska. Eligible applicants must have a high school diploma and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 while enrolled in an approved program.

The College of EHHD Memorial Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing degrees in Education, Health, and Human Development. Established as part of MSU's commitment to transformative education since 1893, this scholarship aims to help incoming students access higher education opportunities. With a limited number of scholarships available, it encourages applicants to demonstrate their dedication to these vital fields of study, fostering future leaders and professionals in the community.

The Riverside Hospital Foundation offers Innovation Grants to support new healthcare initiatives in Northeast Florida. Established in 1991, the Foundation aims to enhance access to quality healthcare across five counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns. Eligible applicants include public and private nonprofits, as well as faith-based organizations. Grants focus on projects with measurable outcomes, self-sustaining funding, and the potential for replication, all aimed at improving healthcare delivery and effectiveness in the region.

The Riverside Hospital Foundation offers Community Grants aimed at supporting organizations that enhance healthcare delivery and improve organizational effectiveness. Established in 1991, the Foundation provides financial assistance to tax-exempt entities in Northeast Florida, particularly in Duval, Nassau, Clay, St. Johns, and Baker Counties. Grant applications must be submitted online alongside additional copies mailed to meet requirements. This initiative seeks to foster access to quality healthcare for the community.

The Next Gen North Early Childhood Development Grant, offered by the Delaware Community Foundation, provides $7,500 to support initiatives addressing early childhood development issues in New Castle County. This grant invites nonprofits to apply, focusing on equity and community-based philanthropy. It aims to foster opportunities for vulnerable families in Delaware while ensuring that funded programs do not discriminate based on race, religion, or other factors. Nonprofits are encouraged to submit proposals that align with these goals.

Beckley Area Foundation

Beckley Area Foundation was established in January 1985 by ten community-minded citizens. It began with a gift of $1.1 million from the Dr. Thomas Walker Memorial Health Foundation as “seed” money for this Raleigh County project. BAF assets have grown to over $70 million with over 500 different funds managed by our three trustee banks. Today, Beckley Area Foundation is one of West Virginia’s largest community foundations.

Since its inception, BAF has distributed over $23 million to charities and other worthy projects in the fields of education, public recreation, health & human services, the arts, animal services and beautification.

Scholarships

The Beckley Area Foundation proudly manages scholarship funds established by individuals, businesses, and organizations dedicated to helping students pursue higher education. Many of these scholarships are tailored for specific schools, fields of study, or graduates from local high schools, while others offer broader opportunities. No matter the path, our scholarships aim to support students from our region as they work toward achieving their educational goals.

Most of these scholarships must be awarded to students from our geographic area or at least preference given to such students. While the majority of scholarships benefit Raleigh County applicants there are others designated for Fayette, Summers, Webster, and Wyoming students. 

Southern West Virginia Homebuilders Scholarship

Student whose parent or legal guardian has been a member in good standing of the So. WV Homebuilders Association or whose parent or legal guardian is an employee of a member business whose job is related to the home building trade, which has been a member in good standing for the current year and at least one year prior to scholarship application. Awarded on the basis of a combination of need and merit.

This scholarship is not renewable.

The Nesholm Family Foundation Grant supports performing arts initiatives in Seattle, emphasizing programs that enhance accessibility, professional standards, and community engagement. Established in 1987 by Elmer J. Nesholm, the foundation aims to benefit the community through arts funding that develops human potential and addresses critical issues. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt organizations, focusing on projects that positively impact the arts and culture in the region while fostering long-term sustainability.

The ADEAGies Foundation Grant supports oral health innovations and the development of future leaders in academic dentistry. Funded by the ADEAGies Foundation, the program offers annual grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 for various dental programs and initiatives. The Board of Trustees evaluates proposals each March, aiming to fully fund as many projects as possible while reserving the right to offer partial funding. Grants are awarded annually to qualifying organizations.
