With over $19 million in assets and more than $10 million granted since inception, ACF connects community needs with passionate donors. Last year alone, it invested over $1 million in local projects. Eligible organizations can apply for funding to build capacity, support direct services, and cover operating costs, fostering sustainable impact across the region.

The Designated Fund Grant, offered by the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation, is available to 501(c)(3) organizations or governmental units. Applicants must be designated fund designees and can request grants for various charitable purposes, provided they align with the Foundation's governing documents. Applications are reviewed quarterly, ensuring timely support for eligible projects that benefit the community.

The Sweet Grass Community Impact Granting program, managed by the Sweet Grass Community Foundation, supports 501(c)3 organizations addressing critical needs in Sweet Grass County. Grants up to $10,000 are available annually, with a focus on initiatives that fulfill organizational missions and demonstrate a history of community impact. Projects must be completed within a year, and funding excludes payroll expenses and retroactive project costs.

The Barbara J. Buchanan Grant, established by the Greater Pike Community Foundation, honors the philanthropic legacy of Barbara J. Buchanan, a key civic leader in Milford and Pike County. CT Humanities: Mini Grants

Mini Grants are small grants of up to $2500 that support small-scale humanities activities such as discussion-based public programs, mini exhibitions, and portions of tours. Please note smaller organizations will be prioritized for this grant line.

Successful proposals must be:

The Bush Prize: South Dakota recognizes organizations that excel in community problem-solving and are valued by their communities. Grants can be up to $500,000, covering 25% of an organization's recent fiscal expenses. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) public charities and government entities, with a focus on local innovations. This initiative, a collaboration between the Bush Foundation and South Dakota Community Foundation, aims to support impactful community projects while fostering flexibility in funding.

The AMS Young Scholars Grant Program, offered by the American Mathematical Society, provides grants of up to $15,000 to support summer mathematics programs for talented high school students. Designed to aid established programs, funding should be allocated equally between student scholarships and program expenses. Programs must exist for at least a year, involve a minimum of 20 students, and focus on problem solving or research in mathematics, fostering the next generation of mathematicians.

The S.N. (Bud) and Gloria Wolbach Charitable Foundation has its roots in the selfless generosity of its namesake, who supported numerous charitable causes and nonprofit organizations for many years. Governed by knowledgeable local leaders, this initiative supports 501(c)(3) organizations and IRS-approved entities in addressing community needs. With a maximum request of $3,700, the program encourages collaboration and innovation, focusing on expanding existing services and developing new initiatives. The foundation is committed to inclusivity, ensuring no discrimination in the use of grant funds.

The Benton County Philanthropic Society Grantmaking Program, managed by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, aims to enhance community well-being through strategic grantmaking. Eligible applicants include 501(c)3 organizations serving Benton County, focusing on innovative solutions to priority needs. In 2025, the program offers a total grant budget of $50,000, with a maximum request of $25,000. Collaboration among applicants is encouraged, fostering a spirit of community engagement and leadership.

The Ash Grove Affiliate Grantmaking Program, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, aims to improve the quality of life in Ash Grove through targeted funding. A total of $8,448 is available, with individual grant requests starting at $500. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations and other IRS-approved entities serving the area. The program prioritizes projects that directly benefit the Ash Grove community, promoting inclusivity and collaboration among local leaders.

The Warehime Project Grant, offered by the J. William Warehime Foundation, supports time-limited, project-specific expenses for charitable organizations, educational bodies, and government agencies. However, grants are not available for unrelated projects, budget shortfalls, or organizations with discriminatory practices, ensuring funding aligns with the Foundation's mission of enhancing public well-being.

The Idlewild Presbyterian Community Support Grant aims to embody God’s love by providing funding to community non-profits that offer compassionate services. This initiative enhances Idlewild's outreach efforts, fostering a just, inclusive, and welcoming community. Eligible applicants are community non-profits dedicated to these values, ensuring broad access to support for impactful local initiatives.

Community Vision Fund- Technical Assistance Grants

The West Elk Community Fund Grant supports nonprofit organizations in Hotchkiss, Paonia, and Crawford, with a focus on addressing food insecurity and enhancing volunteer engagement. Established in 2018, it has allocated over $117,000 to local nonprofits. Eligible applicants must have IRS Tax Exempt status and be compliant with Colorado's laws. The grant aims to foster community development and support vital services in the North Fork Valley through collaborative efforts and financial assistance.

The Community Assistance Program (CAP) provides vital funding to Alaska's boroughs, cities, and unincorporated communities. Established in 2017, CAP supports essential public services and allows recipients to prioritize their funding needs. Eligible applicants include boroughs, cities, Native Village Councils, non-profits, and reserves. The Fund for Buhler Grant, managed by the Buhler Community Foundation, aims to enhance community resilience through unrestricted grantmaking.
