The ROSES25: B.2 Heliophysics Foundational Research program invites proposals for foundational research in heliophysics. The submission deadline for Step-1 proposals is May 1, 2026, with Step-2 deadlines announced 60 days prior. Amendments include an increase in Step-1 proposal length from two to three pages and clarification on budget expectations per award. Quick Support for Artists

The SMAC Artist Growth Grants support artists at any career stage in the SW MN region, promoting artistic development and audience expansion. Grants of up to $4,000 cover costs such as supplies, mentorship, workshops, and studio rentals. Eligible applicants must be permanent residents of the area, at least 18 years old, and may have only one pending application at a time. Ineligible projects include those lacking an art focus or tied to for-profit activities.

The Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship, awarded by the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, offers $30,000 ($10,000 annually for up to three years) to periodontists aiming for academic careers. Eligibility includes being a faculty member at an instructor or assistant level and having no more than ten years of affiliation with a degree-granting institution. The Aging Services Leadership Fellowship, offered by the United Negro College Fund, is a one-year non-clinical program for recent master's graduates or mid-career professionals with at least five years of experience. The program emphasizes cohort learning, community building, and skill development in aging services. Participants engage in specialized training, networking events, and mentorship opportunities designed to foster leadership and cultural humility, ultimately preparing them to lead in the aging services sector.

The HuFriedyGroup/Esther Wilkins Instrument Scholarships, sponsored by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), support students enrolled in accredited dental hygiene programs in the U.S. This scholarship provides recipients with up to $1,000 worth of dental hygiene instruments of their choice. Eligible applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be ADHA members. This initiative seeks to enhance educational opportunities and promote professional growth among future dental hygienists.

Hermann K. Brauer Memorial Scholarship Fund

Students must be preparing for a professional career in medicine, dentistry, nursing, engineering or other science, teaching or law. The scholarship will not be used for career preparation in veterinary medicine, funeral direction, mortuary science, or in the ministry. The student must demonstrate clear financial need. The Site-Based Clinical Training Grant Program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Health, aims to enhance clinical healthcare training throughout Minnesota. With a funding estimate of $4,657,000 for FY 2026, this grant prioritizes rural primary care and oral health training. Eligible applicants include clinical training sites actively enrolled in the Minnesota Health Care Program, which must demonstrate their commitment to addressing healthcare shortages in underserved areas. This initiative supports the development of a skilled healthcare workforce.

The LPGA Foundation

The LPGA Foundation supports women and young people through programs and initiatives aimed at empowering them through the game of golf. Since its founding, The LPGA Foundation has touched more than 500,000 lives through various scholarship and financial assistance programs, along with its flagship junior golf program, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf. The LPGA Foundation was established in 1991 and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, which supports junior golf programs, scholarships, and financial assistance programs for women and young ladies.

Renee Powell Scholarship

The Renee Powell Scholarship will be awarded through The LPGA Foundation and the LPGA Renee Powell Fund. Established in 2022, the Renee Powell Scholarship will provide financial aid to female, Black or African American, high school seniors pursuing a full-time course of study and playing collegiate golf at an accredited college or university in the United States. Through this effort, The LPGA Foundation will further its commitment to Change the Face of Golf and create opportunities for Black or African American girls to pursue their dreams. 

The DTA Foundation: Dental Hygiene Scholarship, in partnership with the Benco Family Foundation, provides up to $10,000 to dental hygiene students from underrepresented backgrounds. This initiative honors Lawrence and Sally Cohen's contributions to the field. With a generous $1M endowment, the scholarship aims to support aspiring dental hygienists, ensuring increased accessibility to the profession and recognizing those who demonstrate passion and commitment to dental care.
