Madrid Community Endowment Fund

Mission of the Madrid Community Endowment Fund:

The Madrid Community Endowment Fund is a charitable foundation created by and for local citizens to improve the quality of life right here in our communities. We are here to help donors make a positive, local impact by offering a variety of giving tools to help people achieve their charitable giving goals and do good work in our community that lasts forever.

The Madrid Community Endowment Fund is committed to improving the quality of life throughout Madrid by investing in area nonprofits through our grant programs and by providing individuals, families and area businesses who love our community with a way to give back.

Madrid Community Endowment Fund Grants

Grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and government entities serving the Madrid community. Grant selections are made in an effort to create a better quality of life for people in Madrid. The local governing committee reviews the applications from charitable organizations serving their community. 

The Employees Community Fund (ECF) of The Boeing Company, specifically the Utah Chapter, has empowered employees for over 60 years to impact their communities through pooled donations. With a focus on smaller, local nonprofits, ECF Utah has invested over $60,000 in 2018 alone, supporting organizations that provide essential services. This employee-managed fund fosters a deep connection between Boeing employees and their communities, ensuring that even lesser-known nonprofits receive vital support.

The CCCF General Operating Support Grants provide multi-year, unrestricted funding to eligible nonprofits, enabling them to enhance their operational capacity and better serve historically under-invested communities. With a grant amount of $30,000, distributed as $10,000 per year for up to three years, nonprofits can utilize the funds for various operational needs. Organizations must meet specific eligibility criteria, including a budget under $450,000 and a physical presence in the CCCF's service area.

The Civic and Community Organizations Funding program in Harrisonburg supports qualified non-profit organizations that provide essential services to residents. This initiative, governed by City Code Section 4-2-9, requires applicants to be 501(c)(3) organizations and to submit applications by January 30 each year. The Gennadius Library, with over 150,000 titles, serves as a comprehensive resource for the study of Greek culture and history, enhancing academic exploration in these fields.
