About Us
The Ohio Emergency Management Agency is the state's central point of coordination for response to and recovery from disasters. When not in a response or recovery mode, our focus is to ensure that Ohio and its citizens are prepared to respond to an emergency or disaster and to lead mitigation efforts against the effects of future disasters
FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP)
The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) is made available to states via the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) / U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). NSGP provides funding for physical security enhancements and other security-related activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist or other extremist attack. The NSGP also seeks to integrate the preparedness activities of nonprofit organizations with broader state and local preparedness efforts
