Marshall Community Foundation: Impact Grant
The Marshall Community Foundation reviews/awards grants quarterly and yearly based upon the size of the grant request. Grants are awarded to agencies across Calhoun County that benefit residents of the City of Marshall and surrounding townships. Grants are intended to be a flexible local funding opportunity that can respond to community needs.

Recipients are chosen based on their efforts and achievements in an area that reflects the lifelong pursuits of Ann and Anthony La Pietra, longtime Marshall residents. These areas include the fine arts, community service and advocacy to support people in need, prevent discrimination, protect the environment and work toward peace and understanding. Applicants should be pursuing studies/majors related to one or more of these areas. Academic success and financial need may be considered but are not necessarily determining factors. Students who receive this scholarship are encouraged to apply for further support in subsequent years.

Standard Grants Program
Standard grants are part of our historic competitive grants program to be responsive to the needs of nonprofit organizations serving La Crosse County. La Crosse Area Community Foundation has allocated grant dollars this year specifically for nonprofits seeking standard grants for result-oriented projects and programs that address a proven community need or priority aimed at making La Crosse County a better place now and for future generations.

Dr. Nancy O. DeBasio Faculty Leadership Award
The Dr. Nancy O. DeBasio Faculty Leadership Award is given annually to a nursing faculty member in honor of Dr. Nancy O. DeBasio, who served as president and dean of Research College of Nursing from 1992 to 2017. The purpose of this award is to recognize a rising leader and nurse educator who exemplifies the four pillars of leadership, as framed by Chris Lowney: self-awareness, ingenuity, love, and heroism.
Faculty will be eligible for the award once every three years.

Clark Area Community Foundation (CACF)
The Clark Area Community Foundation is a nonprofit, public organization, created to attract and distribute charitable funds for the benefit of the Clark area community. The foundation was formed in 2007 by a committee of local citizens. As a community foundation, the Foundation is a collection of funds from organizations, families, individuals and businesses that seek to improve the quality of life in the Clark Area. As of 2024, the Clark Area Community Foundation has over $2,700,000. These funds are deposited into an endowed, permanent fund. CACF Grant
Gifts contributed to the Clark Area Community Foundation are held within the South Dakota Community Foundation. The total SDCF endowment of over $300 million is invested by the SDCF’s investment manager. Grants are made available to local foundations in January of each year.
We are committed to enriching the quality of life in the Clark Area. CACF will strive to support a broad spectrum of projects intended to improve and enhance the Clark County Area. Determination of recommendation for approval will be based upon need, creativity in addressing community concerns, community volunteer support, and accountability.
Litchfield Area Community Foundation
Litchfield Area Community Foundation began in 2002. Since its inception, the foundation has raised over $100,000 for our permanent endowment fund. An endowment fund is like a ‘savings account’—donations are invested and never spent. Only income generated from the original gift is used for community reinvestment. The endowment fund ensures a permanent, stable revenue stream for the benefit of our community.
LACF concentrates on the overall well-being of the community. We have partnered with parents to realize the construction of new park equipment. We have collaborated with community members to beautify Litchfield through the planting of trees. Through future grants, we anticipate working with concerned citizens to enhance our community.
Litchfield Area Community Foundation Grant
One of the principle purposes of the Litchfield Area Community Foundation is to promote and facilitate the distribution of charitable donations to our area. Since 2008, many lives were enriched thanks to $20,000 in grants being distributed in our area.

About Rome Community FoundationThe concept of a Rome Community Foundation was developed to provide individuals and groups with a method for making charitable gifts or bequests of permanently endowed funds, giving the donor favorable tax treatment. Income generated from investment of the endowments is used at the discretion of the Foundation's Board of Directors for the benefit of the Rome area.

The mission of the Foundation is to assist in providing monetary resources for the present and future enrichment of the Rome area community.Rome Community Foundation GrantAs a general rule, the Foundation only funds capital project activities; however, it would consider start-up charitable initiatives that incur one-time costs. The Frankenmuth Credit Union Foundation for Our Communities is a source of grants to promote the betterment of all of our communities.
The Fox Family Foundation
The Fox Family Foundation accepts grant requests, from the beginning of September to the last Friday in October. Grant awards are announced prior to the year end, and distributions of those grants made shortly thereafter. Grant amounts vary, but are typically between $500 and $1,000 each.
The Fox Family Foundation was established in 2005 for the purpose of providing an ongoing philanthropic support to non-profit organizations, even if not designated as a 501(c)3. A preference in the selection process is given to those organizations located in Southeastern Colorado. The foundation commends all applicants for their hard work and worthy endeavors to better their community and the wider community. The Foundation is precluded from providing grant awards for political-based organizations.
Community Based Grant Programs
Domestic Workers Employment Rights
OAG will make up to $260,000 in grant funding for Fiscal Year 2026 to be awarded through the Domestic Workers Employment Rights grant program.
Funding is allocated annually, and subject to appropriation and funds’ availability. Grant award amounts vary as determined by the scope of the projects. Selected grantees will work to provide outreach and education, capacity building, stakeholder engagement as related to employment laws protecting domestic workers.
Workplace Rights
OAG will make up to $750,000 available in grant funding for Fiscal Year 2026 to be awarded through the Workplace Rights grant program. OAG will award funds to at least two qualified community-based organizations. Each award shall be $100,000 or more per year, per grant, subject to the requirements of the grant agreement and subject to the availability of appropriations.
Funding is allocated annually, and subject to appropriation and funds’ availability. Grant award amounts vary as determined by the scope of the projects. Selected grantees will work to educate and support employees as they navigate their rights and responsibilities granted by various employment laws and programs.
In July of 1991 Martin County Board of County Commissioners entered into a planned unit development (PUD) agreement for the development of the Indiantown Cogeneration Project. A condition of the PUD agreement required the establishment of the Indiantown Community Trust Fund with the interest from the trust fund used for projects which benefit the Indiantown community and have a general synergy with the Indiantown Cogeneration Project. The trust fund has been accruing interest since October 21, 1992. The committee annually reviews applications for proposed projects and makes recommendations for funding for the projects from the accrued interest of the trust fund subject to final approval by the Village Council.The trust income shall be used solely for projects benefiting Indiantown.
