Coastal conservation and resilience organizations in New Jersey and other eligible coastal areas can seek US $1,000,000 - US $10,000,000 to plan, design, and implement nature-based solutions that protect communities and habitats. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation supports projects like restoring marshes, dunes, reefs, floodplains, and living shorelines that reduce flooding and coastal hazards.

Nature's Path's Gardens for Good program empowers communities by funding organic gardens that address food insecurity. Since 2010, it has donated $930,000 CAD to support 120 gardens. Grant Overview

Grant funds will be awarded to successful applicants who were previously awarded NJCIE Pilot Program grant funds from the NJCIE Pilot Program launched in 2024. Building on the success of the initial NJCIE Pilot launched in 2024, this next phase focuses on advancing participant outcomes and strengthening employer partnerships through more structured, outcome-driven service delivery models. This Phase II opportunity supports community rehabilitation providers in refining and scaling strategies that connect career pathway development, industry-recognized credential attainment, and competitive integrated employment. The program places an increased emphasis on measurable outcomes, including retention, wage progression, and long-term employment stability, while continuing to support the transition toward fully integrated employment opportunities statewide.

The purpose of the NJCIE program is to provide an opportunity for community rehabilitation providers to strengthen organizational capacity and pilot innovative employment and training services for people with disabilities that are intended to lead to competitive integrated employment.

The CFNJ: Svetlana Stalin Welcome to New Jersey Grant aims to support recent immigrants in their transition to life in New Jersey. This grant focuses on providing essential resources such as language acquisition, cultural integration, legal assistance, and economic empowerment. With funding ranging from $5,000 to $15,000, the grant encourages community-driven initiatives that address the needs of underserved populations, ensuring equitable access to resources and support.

The ALDI Community Gift Card Program provides financial support ranging from $100 to $1,000 to eligible nonprofits and schools that focus on after-school and out-of-school youth programs, as well as food banks. This initiative aims to empower organizations dedicated to child development and combating food insecurity. New Jersey State Council on the Arts

In 1966, the legislature passed and the governor signed a law creating the NJ State Council on the Arts and directing us to do all that is necessary and appropriate to: support, encourage, and foster public interest in the arts; enlarge public and private resources devoted to the arts; promote freedom of expression in the arts; and facilitate the inclusion of art in every public building in New Jersey.

Folk & Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Project

FTAP grants provide $10,000 to support an individualized, structured learning opportunity between an Apprentice artist and one or more Mentor Artists. By providing funds to support artists’ time and project expenses, FTAP grants allow intermediate-level artists to significantly advance their skills and cultural knowledge in a specific folk and traditional art form. Strong apprenticeships foster the continuation of valued community traditions, contributing to the ongoing vitality of these specific folk and traditional arts.

WISEWOMAN Program

The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) - WISEWOMAN: Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for WOMen Across the Nation program seeks to fund evidence-based strategies to prevent and manage cardiovascular disease in women aged 35-64, at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level, are under-or-uninsured, and are enrolled in the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP). Funding will address the burden of cardiovascular disease and its riskfactors by implementing prevention and self-management strategies, system-level bi-directional e-referral structures, implementing or expanding team-based care, and improving the capacity of the cardiovascular disease workforce to address social determinants of health (SDOH).

Tobacco Prevention and Cessation (TPC) Services

Funds will be used to prevent tobacco youth initiation and decrease youth smoking prevalence by developing and implementing programming aimed to increase tobacco awareness and environmental policy development within communities as well as the promotion of intervention cessation services to qualified tobacco users.

The Lion Woodward Educational Fund, established by the Trenton Rotary Club in 1928, supports high school students in Trenton and surrounding areas in achieving their educational goals. With a potential award of up to $16,000 over four years, candidates must maintain a minimum GPA and demonstrate community service, leadership, and financial need. Managed by the Princeton Area Community Foundation, this fund honors Lion L. Woodward's legacy of service and commitment to youth education.

The Princeton Post No. 76 American Legion, Dr. Henry J. Frank Scholarship, established in 2005, supports students with ties to U.S. military veterans. Administered by the Princeton Area Community Foundation, this scholarship offers two awards annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at accredited institutions. Eligible applicants must be residents of Princeton, West Windsor, or Plainsboro and have a parent or grandparent who served in the Armed Forces. Friends of NRA is the National Rifle Association’s premier fundraising program, supporting the future of shooting sports. Since day one, Friends of NRA has been a 100% grassroots effort fueled by a united front to secure the Second Amendment and raise money for the shooting sports.

Committee volunteers are appointed to State Fund Committees to make recommendations for local grant funding in areas such as youth education, women-focused clinics, law enforcement training, hunter safety, range improvement, firearms and marksmanship training and safety. Recognizing the impact American youth has on the future of the shooting sports, State Fund Committees frequently recommend grants for youth programs, allocating the most significant portion of monies to this vital area.

Grant awards fund activities and support programs in the United States to promote firearms and hunting safety, to enhance marksmanship skills of those in the shooting sports, and to educate the public about firearms in their historic, technological and artistic context.

Friends of NRA State Fund Grant Program - New Jersey

The Friends of NRA State Fund Grant Program provides supplies, equipment, and financial support to a variety of qualified groups and programs at the local level; geared towards youth, women, law enforcement, veterans, the disabled, and the general public, including:

• General shooting programs
• Competitive shooting
• Education, training and safety
• Hunting and conservation
• Community outreach
• Historical education

Grant funding must be used to further a charitable purpose as defined by the Internal Revenue Code under section 501(c)(3) and accompanying rules, regulations, and other IRS law and materials.

Provide partial support to develop and produce public awareness materials regarding the lifesaving benefits of transplantation for the purpose of increasing potential organ donors. Child Evaluation Centers are funded to provide a variety of evaluative services to assess the needs of children with congenital acquired neuro-developmental disorders including communication, learning and behavioral disorders.

New Jersey State grant funds available for this initiative are contingent upon state appropriation. Approximately $2.2 million may be available in State Fiscal Year 2027, which begins July 1, 2026 and ends June 30, 2027.
