Idaho Panhandle Dental Society Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be accepted or enrolled full-time at a post-high school program in the field of dentistry or dental hygiene as a dental hygienist, dental assistant, dental business assistant or dentist. Financial need, academic achievement, and community service are factors for selection.

Previous recipients of this award are eligible to reapply.

East Spokane Kiwanis Scholarship

Applicants must be graduating seniors from West Valley, Central Valley, or East Valley School Districts. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement.

Community involvement is also considered.

Dr. Mark Paxton Dental Scholarship

Applicants must pursue a career in the field of dentistry limited to dental hygiene, dental assisting, or dental lab technician and be a resident in one of the following counties: Spokane, Lincoln, Adams, Whitman, Pend Oreille, Stevens or Ferry. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

The scholarship committee will consider the applicant’s experience participating in school or community activities and job or volunteer activities, as well as his or her commitment to academic excellence. Previous recipients of this award are eligible to reapply.

The Sleep Team Travel Grant, funded by the AASM Foundation, aims to enhance sleep health by supporting non-physician members of the sleep team, such as sleep technologists and advanced practice providers, in attending the SLEEP meeting for the first time. This grant includes a $2,000 travel stipend for conference-related expenses, fostering networking opportunities within the sleep community. Priority is given to first-time attendees, encouraging broader participation and collaboration in sleep health initiatives.

The Tree Campus Higher Education Program, led by the National Arbor Day Foundation, promotes green spaces in colleges and universities, enhancing campus livability and environmental health. By meeting five key standards, institutions can achieve recognition and foster community pride. This initiative not only helps combat climate change through tree planting but also supports mental well-being and physical activity among students and staff. Join the movement to create healthier campus environments and educate future generations on environmental care.

The CMAB Public Art Grant Program supports the creation of impactful public art projects that are accessible to everyone at no cost. It encourages artists to engage with the community, fostering cultural identity and artistic growth. Applicants must secure at least 25% matching funds, with no cap on funding requests, although resources are limited. This initiative aims to enrich regional culture and enhance public spaces through both permanent and temporary art installations.

Scholarship Eligibility

• Graduating high school senior attending a Palm Beach County public or private high school
• Must be a resident of Palm Beach County
• Demonstrate financial need
• Students overall performance reflecting a B or C average

The Deloitte Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing a degree in Accounting from the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Eligible candidates must be seniors and preferably have completed an internship with Deloitte. The Del Ballard Civil Engineering Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be Montana residents, and have sophomore status or above. The New Foundation for Art History (NFAH) offers innovative non-residential fellowships for mid-career scholars, emphasizing excellence in research across various art eras and cultures. Established in 2019, NFAH aims to support scholars from U.S. institutions, particularly those at smaller schools, with grants up to $50,000 to aid in their research endeavors. The initiative promotes diversity and equity within the field, ensuring that scholars receive the resources they need to thrive.

The New Foundation for Art History (NFAH) offers Fellowships for Contingent Faculty to address the growing reliance on contingent positions in art history. Launched in 2019, these fellowships provide $10,000 to $15,000 for each summer, up to $45,000 over three years. By accommodating the unique schedules of contingent faculty, NFAH aims to support research and publication efforts, facilitating career advancement and promoting equity within the discipline.

The New Foundation for Art History (NFAH), established in 2019, aims to innovate within the art history field by addressing gaps left by other institutions. Offering five publication subvention grants of $1,000 to $5,000, NFAH prioritizes applications from U.S. scholars, especially those in underrepresented areas. With a commitment to diversity and equity, NFAH adapts its initiatives based on community feedback, fostering excellence in research and publication.

The Earl R. McCulloch-Artcraft Printers Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing a degree from the School of Art. Preference is given to children of Artcraft Printers employees, those demonstrating financial need, and graduates of Bozeman or Belgrade High Schools. This scholarship reflects MSU's commitment to providing transformative education and fostering talent in the arts.

The Buckner Woodford Clay, III Memorial Fund, established by Dr. Thomas W. Jarrett in memory of a friend passionate about environmental issues, aims to support anti-littering education and enforcement in West Virginia. With $35,000 available for grants, the fund prioritizes projects that promote environmental preservation, particularly in Raleigh County, and encourages youth involvement. Eligible applicants must be recognized non-profits or public institutions, with a focus on sustainability and community engagement.

The Michael Aurbach Fellowship for Excellence in Visual Art, awarded by the College Art Association, supports artist members with an MFA or equivalent who teach studio classes. This fellowship provides a $7,500 award and conference registration to a qualifying artist, focusing on their artistic work rather than a proposal. It aims to recognize and empower visual arts professionals in academia.

The Earl and Pauline Webb Memorial Scholarship, offered by Montana State University, supports undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Agriculture. Annually, two scholarships are awarded specifically to students in Agricultural Education and other Agriculture-related fields. Preference is given to Montana high school graduates. This scholarship not only fosters academic growth but also contributes to the development of future leaders in the agricultural sector.

The Josephine Rudy Smith Scholarship Fund Grant, established in 1948 in memory of Josephine Rudy Smith, supports ministerial students in the Kentucky Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Funded initially by a donation of $40,000 and ongoing contributions, it is administered by a committee of church leaders. Eligible candidates must be certified for ordained ministry, hold a bachelor's degree, and maintain a GPA of 3.0. Awards can reach up to $4,000, aiding students in their seminary journey.

The Earl and Fay Doney Electrical Engineering Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Applicants must be Montana high school graduates and enrolled as full-time students. Priority is given to current or former students and staff of the Yellowstone Academy at the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. Notably, the scholarship requirements are waived for staff of the Ranch, ensuring accessibility to education for deserving candidates.

Coral Gables Community Foundation

Led by community leaders, the Coral Gables Community Foundation provides the philanthropic conduit to connect individuals and corporations looking to positively impact the success of the community. Now in its 33rd year, the Foundation has been at the forefront of the evolving needs of Coral Gables while effectively bringing together beneficiaries and benefactors to fund programs with the greatest impact and benefit to “The City Beautiful.”

The Luke Sturgill Memorial Scholarship

The Luke Sturgill Memorial Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who will attend a vocational or technical school. Students must pursue a degree or certificate from a vocational or technical institution.

The Luke Sturgill Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Luke’s aunt and Coral Gables resident, Laura Russo, in his memory to support educational opportunities for deserving high school graduates.

The Dylan Honnoll Memorial Scholarship at Montana State University supports undergraduate students pursuing their degrees. Established to honor Dylan Honnoll, it encourages applications from active members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. The scholarship reflects MSU's commitment to providing transformative educational opportunities that enhance students' lives and communities. With limited availability, it serves as a vital resource for incoming students seeking financial assistance during their academic journey.

The Association of American Educators Foundation offers classroom grants of up to $500 for full-time educators to support various educational projects and materials. These funds can be used for items such as books, software, and art supplies. Grants must be utilized within one year of approval, and competition is strong due to high application volumes. Note that applicants from specific states will not be eligible for national funding.

The Association of American Educators Foundation offers the National Teacher Scholarship to promote professional excellence among educators. This scholarship provides funding for various professional development opportunities, including conferences and learning materials, with awards up to $500. Available to full-time educators who haven't received AAE funding in the last two years, the scholarship aims to enhance the quality of education across the nation while supporting educators' growth and collaboration.

The Huntington Common Charitable Fund, managed by Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation, supports programs improving the lives of older adults in York County, Maine. Established from the sale of the Huntington Common Retirement Living Community in 2006, it focuses on nutrition, dementia care, and therapeutic access. The fund proudly backs various nonprofits, including Southern Maine Agency on Aging and Good Shepherd Food Bank, ensuring essential services for the elderly are maintained and enhanced.
