The Lloyd Lewis Fellowships in American History, offered by The Newberry Library, provide scholars with the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on American history using the library's extensive collections. The Summer Studentship offers undergraduate students the chance to engage in hands-on research experience in genetics during the summer before their final year. With a weekly allowance of £300 for up to 8 weeks and funding for laboratory expenses, participants also gain access to a student Summer School Workshop at the University of Cambridge. This program encourages diversity and welcomes applications from all individuals, fostering a supportive research environment.

Luther A. and Evelyn L. Belden Memorial Scholarship Fund

Supporting graduating high school seniors who are residents of Hatfield, MA, or graduating seniors of Smith Academy. If no qualified applicants meet these criteria, then any qualified applicant who is a graduating senior and a resident of Hampshire County shall be considered.

The Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the college and career plans of students in the Elk Grove Unified School District area.

The scholarship supports students from Shelby High School. Gordon and Betty Imhoff were both graduates of Shelby High School and wanted to support students from the school as they further their education.

U-M Alumnae Club (University of Michigan) Scholarships

Open to second year or higher undergraduate or graduate students who identify as female, are 3+ year residents of Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, or Ottawa counties, and attending University of Michigan and with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarships include the Gretchen Slack Appelt and Doris Ann Slack, Margaret Appelt Kerr, Meta Prange Murphy/Lucille Prange, and Rosemary Scott scholarships.

Violet Wondergem Health Science Scholarship

Open to undergraduate students who are 2+ year residents of Kent or Ottawa counties attending college in the state of Michigan studying healthcare, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

This fund was established to celebrate the life of Amanda Rush who tragically died on October 23, 2020. Amanda worked at White Castle for 14 years, working her way up to manager. This scholarship will support central Ohio restaurant employees or students going to school for restaurant management or hospitality.

Devin Aumend Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship was created by Devin’s Mother, Denise Aumend. Despite her physical disability, Devin was always involved in her community through activities including 4-H, Girl Scouts, and church youth activities. Throughout her life, Devin overcame many challenges and obstacles due to her physical disability. This led her to become an independents and determined young lady, maintaining excellent grades throughout school, and earning the title of Valedictorian of her Highland High School class of 2003. Devin completed her Bachelor’s Degree with honors, and her Master’s degree with honors. The Devin Aumend Memorial Scholarship is her mother’s way of honoring Devin for many years to come.
