The DAI Fellowship for Study in Berlin offers two post-doctoral research fellowships to North American AIA members. Edward P. Boland Scholarship Fund

Edward P. Boland served as the representative to the United States Congress for 36 years. His public service spanned 54 years of dedication to the people of western Massachusetts. He was the first chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and a longtime member of the Appropriations Committee overseeing departments such as HUD, NASA, Veterans, NSA and many other federal departments. Education was his top priority and upon retirement this scholarship fund was created to assist the students of western Massachusetts

Kimber Richter Family Scholarship Fund

To support graduating high school seniors of the Baha’i faith from western Massachusetts.

The Alaska Office of History and Archaeology offers Historic Preservation Grants to support the rehabilitation of historic properties. Eligible applicants include individuals, non-profits, and local governments. The program provides up to 60% funding with a 40% cost-sharing match for various projects such as surveys, inventory, and planning. Cristobal “Chuck” Perez Scholarship Fund

To support individuals from Hampden County Massachusetts pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree; preference for those involved in athletics or other extracurricular activities

The Community Foundation offers two competitive grant opportunities for Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) that are available year-round. The TCAPS Academic Excellence Endowment supports K-12 programs that foster innovative, student-focused educational initiatives. The Titan Excellence Fund Endowment benefits students of Traverse City West Senior High, emphasizing student life and academics, with consideration for music and athletics. Applications are reviewed annually in November with awards presented in December.

• Scholarships may be used to offset tuition, fees, room and board, and other items included as part of the cost for attending the institution. 
• Most scholarships are for students who live in Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties. However, some are also available to students who live in Berkshire County and Hartford County in Connecticut.
• We offer scholarships to those who attend on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Ruth L. Brocklebank Memorial Scholarship Fund

Supporting African American graduates of Springfield high schools.

The John R. Coleman Traveling Fellowship, awarded by the Archaeological Institute of America, supports U.S. graduate students engaged in dissertation research. It honors John R. Coleman’s legacy, facilitating travel and study in Italy and the western Mediterranean. Candidates must submit a report post-fellowship and are encouraged to present at the AIA Annual Meeting. The fellowship fosters inclusivity and does not support excavation projects or administrative costs, ensuring a focus on academic advancement and cultural appreciation.
