Clifton Community Fund

The Clifton Community Fund is an unrestricted community grant fund that supports the Clifton, KS community. The Fund was created by the generosity of individuals who have contributed money for the charitable use to address the present and future needs of Clifton, KS.

From this endowed fund, the advisory committee annually determines and designates the amount of available funding in the form of community grants.

The Foundation’s Clifton Community Fund accepts applications once a year. Applications received outside of the grant cycle are not accepted.

All non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply as well as groups and individuals working on a charitable community project. For-profit organizations will not be considered unless the request is for a charitable project. Grants will be limited to projects within Clifton, KS.

What type of support is funded?

• Projects or programs that serve the community and/or advance the mission of the organization
• Seed money to establish or initiate a new project, program, or organization, including operating expenses
• Capacity building or activities that strengthen an organization to increase its ability to fulfill its mission, including technology & equipment, professional development & training, additional staff to implement a new program, etc.

The California Advanced Services Fund: Broadband Adoption Account encourages applications for projects enhancing broadband access in underserved communities. Eligible projects include digital literacy training and free broadband access in public spaces. Applications are accepted anytime, with deadlines on January 1 and July 1 until funds are exhausted. Preference is given to initiatives targeting low-income and senior citizen communities, promoting digital inclusion and overcoming socioeconomic barriers to broadband adoption.

The GA Research Awards, established by the Geologists' Association since 1858, aim to promote geological study among all members with at least one year's standing, supporting research in earth sciences. Stanley Corrsin Award

To recognize and encourage a particularly influential contribution to fundamental fluid dynamics.

The Prize consists of $5,000, an allowance for registration and travel to the meeting at which the Prize is awarded, and a certificate citing the contributions made by the recipient. The award will be presented annually at the Division of Fluid Dynamics annual meeting and will be accompanied by a Distinguished Lecture from the Award winner.

Nominations will be considered for three review cycles provided the nominator re-certifies the nomination before the next deadline.

The Innovation and Research Fellowship Program (IRFP) Grant, sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, aims to foster technological research and support the innovation ecosystem in New Jersey. It encourages Ph.D. candidates and graduates to collaborate with local science and technology firms. Nominations will be considered for three review cycles provided the nominator re-certifies the nomination before the next deadline.

The AHNS Presidential Award supports innovative research targeting novel therapeutic approaches in head and neck cancer. With a funding amount of $15,000 for one year, this grant encourages projects that utilize advanced methodologies such as genomics and immune profiling. Applicants must be AHNS members in good standing and provide letters of support from their institution. The goal is to foster research that can lead to significant advancements in treatment strategies for this challenging disease.

The AHNS Presidential Award supports innovative research focused on understanding treatment resistance in head and neck cancer. With a funding amount of $10,000 for one year, eligible candidates include medical students, residents, and faculty at the associate professor level or below who are AHNS members in good standing. Projects must demonstrate a translational focus and collaboration across disciplines, aiming to yield actionable insights within the award period.

The ARS Women in Rhinology Research Grant, sponsored by Medtronic, offers $25,000 for one year to support innovative research in rhinology. Eligible applicants must be members of the American Rhinologic Society who have completed their residency, with at least one female investigator involved.
