Permelia A. Butterfield Scholarship Fund

Supporting students, under 21 years of age, with one or both parents deceased, all Christian religious sects and denominations and who are residents of Franklin County; preference for the Town of Orange.

Luther A. and Evelyn L. Belden Memorial Scholarship Fund

Supporting graduating high school seniors who are residents of Hatfield, MA, or graduating seniors of Smith Academy. If no qualified applicants meet these criteria, then any qualified applicant who is a graduating senior and a resident of Hampshire County shall be considered.

The Leon Levy Center for Biography Fellowship, established in 2007, supports writers from all backgrounds in crafting biographies. It offers four resident fellowships and a Sloan fellowship for biographies in science, with a stipend of $72,000. Fellows gain writing space at CUNY Graduate Center, access to research facilities, and opportunities to engage in seminars and public events. This fellowship encourages both emerging and established writers to contribute to the vibrant biography community.

The Leon Levy Center for Biography offers the Sloan Fellowship, which supports the writing of biographies about figures from science or technology. Established in 2007, the Center fosters excellence in biography through events, lectures, and funding for outstanding research. The fellowship provides a stipend of $72,000, access to research facilities, and opportunities for mentorship. Writers of all nationalities, including first-time biographers, are encouraged to apply, although memoirs and fictional works are not eligible.

George and Theresa Crete Scholarship Fund

Supporting residents of western Massachusetts

The American Association for Anatomy offers the Outstanding Mentor Award to recognize individuals committed to mentoring in anatomical sciences. This award acknowledges mentors who inspire intellectual growth and provide professional guidance to their mentees. Eligible nominees must have at least ten years post-degree experience and be active members of the association. Award recipients receive a $1,000 honorarium and an additional $1,000 for travel to the Annual Meeting to accept their award.

The Early-Career Anatomist Publication Award, presented by the American Association for Anatomy, honors exceptional publications by early-career anatomists in three prestigious journals. Each year, up to three awards are given, accompanied by a $1,000 honorarium and $1,750 for travel to the AAA Annual Meeting. Eligible candidates include students, postdocs, and assistant professors without tenure, who must be first or last authors on a paper published in the previous calendar year.

New Jersey Department of Health

The scope of work for the public health system is ever-expanding, and the Department is on the frontlines in leading the response to public health challenges. The Department has three primary branches – Public Health Services, Health Systems, and Integrated Health. All work collaboratively toward improving health by strengthening New Jersey’s health system.

Our Mission: Protect the public’s health, promote healthy communities, and continue to improve the quality of health care in New Jersey.

Prehospital Follow up and Treatment Program MOUD

Purpose for Which the Grant Program Funds Shall be Used

The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) seeks applications to fund New Jersey State-licensed Mobile Intensive Care (MIC) providers for emergency assessment, initiation, and follow-up or interim treatment using Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). This program will also facilitate patient referrals to substance use disorder care and resources through NJDOH's Electronic Rapid Referral Platform.

Qualifications Needed by Applicant to be Considered for a Grant

Category A Funding: New Jersey State-liscenced Mobile Intensive Care (MIC) provider

Category B Funding: An approved Mobile Intensive Health (MIH) program under N.J.A.C. 8:49 et seq., or initiate an application for such within 30 days of receiving the notice of award for this funding, as applicable.

The American Association for Anatomy offers Student/Postdoc Travel and Competition Awards to support attendance at the annual meeting, Anatomy Connected. Over $60,000 is awarded to eligible student and postdoc members who submit abstracts by December 15. Travel awards of $350 are available for the first 150 applicants, and early career members can apply for up to $1,000. Competition awards feature prizes up to $500, promoting excellence in research presentation.

The I Tatti/Museo Nacional del Prado Joint Fellowship offers early and mid-career art historians a unique opportunity to conduct research in Madrid and Florence during the 2024-2025 academic year. With terms at both prestigious institutions, fellows will receive monthly stipends, housing assistance, and access to extensive resources. Candidates must hold a PhD and demonstrate proficiency in English, Spanish, and Italian. This fellowship promotes original research on Renaissance connections between Spain and Italy.

League of Chicago Theatres 

The League of Chicago Theatres was founded in 1979 by a small group of theaters formerly known as the Off Loop Producers Association. Their mission was to enrich and sustain the economic and cultural life in Chicago by developing marketing, advocacy and information services to strengthen the operations of member theatres. 

Today the League serves many functions for the community including audience development, advocacy, government relations, grant-making, and professional development. The League remains an organization that is governed by our membership and is proud to serve more than 200 theaters. Our membership encompasses a diverse list of companies including not-for-profit and commercial operations, suburban and city-based, all-volunteer storefront operations and large regional theatres. 

ComEd Powering the Arts Program

Purpose and Overview

Exposure to the arts is vitally important for the health of our communities. Coming together to share a cultural offering is a way to cultivate community and achieve social connection, which inspires and uplifts us all. Arts and culture should be accessible to everyone. Through this program, ComEd and the League of Chicago Theatres look to reach audiences that have otherwise been unable to access the richness of cultural offerings throughout the ComEd service area.

Experiences in the arts increase creativity across the spectrum of human endeavor. Each experience provides audiences with further opportunities for interaction, whether they are inspired to educate themselves further about the topic, create a work of art themselves, or perhaps to attend another event. Each exposure enhances the quality of life for the audiences but can also change lives in profound ways.

Recognizing that access to art is crucial to the quality of our lives, ComEd has partnered with the League of Chicago Theatres to support cultural institutions in northern Illinois in their efforts to reach new and diverse audiences. The ComEd Powering the Arts program has been designed to assist local institutions in these efforts by providing funding for some expenses toward these goals.

Applicants may request funding for either $20,000 or any amount up to $10,000. Requests for funding between levels ($10,001-$19,999) will not be considered.

The Folger Institute Long-term Fellowship offers a $70,000 stipend for one academic year to support scholars conducting research on early modern humanities using the Folger's extensive collections. Open to international scholars, applicants must hold a Ph.D. and may propose flexible research schedules, including virtual months. This fellowship encourages projects that enhance understanding of Shakespeare and the cultural history of the early modern world, promoting inclusive histories and addressing inequities.

Moreland and Muriel Reynolds Moreland in appreciation of their lifetime commitment to the citizens of the Borough of Dormont, Pennsylvania. This scholarship supports graduating seniors who are residents of Dormont Borough and are continuing their education in a post secondary accredited program. Applicants should demonstrate service to others through their school, church and community.

Leonard and Annette Silverman PITT Pharmacy School Fund

The Leonard and Annette Silverman University of Pittsburgh Pharmacy School Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to students who are currently enrolled in the Doctoral program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. The Fund is in memory of Leonard Silverman, a graduate of the School of Pharmacy in 1951.

The Jack R. Luskay Memorial Scholarship supports practicing or prospective school librarians in Pennsylvania to attend the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association conference. Bradley “Ace” Schaffner Scholarship Fund

The Bradley “Ace” Schaffner Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation in honor of Ace by his parents to provide scholarships for students living in Southwestern Pennsylvania who are pursing a 4-year liberal arts degree.

Award Type: Single Year. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.

Through partnerships and collaboration, Lincoln Community Foundation facilitates positive change for the common good.

The Glenn and Dorothy Schnieber Scholarship was established in 2021 by their family. Glenn and Dorothy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946. Neither of them was able to afford college. They bought a small business from Glenn’s dad and over the next 30 years they grew it into a successful wholesale food distributor, Schnieber Fine Foods. Education was always important to them. In their memory, the donors hope this scholarship will help recipients in Nebraska achieve their educational goals.

Recipients of this scholarship may renew the scholarship for the following year if they maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above, for a total of two years.

Southern California Kids to Parks Grants Program

National Park Trust is thrilled to offer the 2026 Southern California Kids to Parks Grants Program. Open to Title I schools (40% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch) based in the Southern California Edison service area (Map of Eligible Locations) for grades 3 through 12, this grant program provides classrooms with up to $1,500 for in-park experiences. While grant requests for all types of park visits are welcome, applicants are encouraged to consider trips to historical sites in honor of the celebration of our country's 250th birthday in 2026.

Funding can be used towards program fees, transportation costs, stewardship supplies, and any other materials needed for a robust learning experience.

This grant is designed to be student-driven, and student-teacher collaboration is a must. All applications must include a stewardship element and a park-themed educational component that focuses on either outdoor recreation and healthy lifestyles, environmental education/science, or history.

Teachers may submit the application on behalf of their class, but direct student involvement in the application is required.

Scholarships

The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County provide scholarship opportunities for local students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities and career/technical schools.

Sophie M. and John F. Yoney Scholarship Fund

The Sophie M. and John F. Yoney Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation by the late Mr. John F. Yoney, to provide to graduates from Chartiers-Houston High School, Peters Township High School and Canon McMillan High School.
