Ashton W. Lilly Fund for Philanthropy
The Lilly Endowment Challenge Grant Program of Cumberland Community Foundation is made possible by the Ashton W. Lilly Fund for Philanthropy, a charitable fund created in honor of the great philanthropy of Ashton Lilly. The program is designed to assist non-profit organizations to build sustainable support for their missions through permanent endowment funds with Cumberland Community Foundation.
An application may be any amount up to $50,000, not to exceed 50% of the organization's board-adopted endowment goal. Unless otherwise agreed, the grant period will be two years. Organizations that have received a Lilly challenge grant within the last four years will have lower priority in a competitive awards cycle.
The matching funds are available for new gifts to the endowment during the grant period. Funds from operational reserves will not be matched through the endowment challenge.
The dollars raised and the matching dollars (supplied by Cumberland Community Foundation) will be placed as irrevocable gifts into the endowment fund owned, held, and managed by Cumberland Community Foundation for the sole benefit of the non-profit organization.
Organizations should be clear that an endowment fund is not an operating reserve. This challenge grant is to create a permanent endowment. Principal and gifts to the endowment fund may not be taken back to meet current needs.
Rapid Response Grant
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is now accepting applications to the Rapid Response Grant Program. This opportunity, which is open to the CFO's entire service area, provides one-time support to agencies with urgent, unanticipated needs such as: loss of federal and/or state funding, natural or manmade disasters, time-sensitive opportunities for collaboration or innovation, etc. A total of $80,000 is available for this first year of the grant program, with a maximum request amount capped at $3,000.00.
The maximum request amount is $3,000.00.
This is a one-time grant. Agencies may not submit multiple requests in the same fiscal year. Final reports will be due 6 months after funding is awarded.

Real-World Evidence of SUL-DUR on Special Populations with CRAB Infection
This competitive program aims to evaluate the real-world evidence on effectiveness and safety of Sulbactam-Durlobactam (SUL-DUR), as well as the influence of SUL-DUR treatment timing on clinical outcomes in special adult populations. The study will focus on patients with suspected or confirmed carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) infection in China. Special populations include critically ill patients; recipients with solid organ transplant (SOT); and patients with hematological diseases.
Project Types and Area of Interest
Potential applicants are requested to submit research proposals to study realworld evidence on effectiveness, safety of SUL-DUR, and influence of SULDUR treatment timing on clinical outcomes for CRAB infections in special adult populations.

Fostering Educational Initiatives for ALK+ Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (mNSCLC) Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKI) Therapy
This competitive program seeks to champion patient and caregiver education on long-term safety, prolonged duration of treatment and therapy management and support of ALK+ patients. This grant program is focussed on the management of patients on ALK TKIs in mNSCLC by developing tools to support patients and caregivers, education from academic centers to community centers, and for optimizing care by multidisciplinary teams.

Story County Community Foundation

County of Summit ADM Board
The County of Summit ADM Board provides a person-centered approach to prevention, treatment, and recovery. In Summit County, no one walks the recovery journey alone. Together with our partners, we will find a path for anyone who needs the services our system provides.
The County of Summit ADM Board is responsible for planning, funding, monitoring, and evaluating treatment, prevention, and support services for people who experience Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health Disorder. The ADM Board does not provide direct services, but it contracts with local agencies to provide quality, affordable services for people at critical times in their lives.
Mini-Grants
This funding is targeted for grass roots efforts in our community to promote overall mental wellness. Please note, this funding is not for traditional treatment, prevention or recovery supports as defined by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (Ohio DBH). Priority may be given to programs/events that target ADM Board identified priority populations (LGBTQ+, older adults, African Americans, immigrants/refugees, pregnant women with substance use disorders and families with dependent children impacted with substance use disorders).

Win Winogrond Memorial Scholarship
Mark Winogrond has established a scholarship in memory of his older brother, Henry “Win” Winogrond, Jr., who passed away in Clarksdale in 2014. The scholarship will help an outstanding graduate of Coahoma Community College to complete a four-year degree at a college of the recipient’s choice.
Win was a lifelong fan of the blues. In Clarksdale, he restored historic buildings as lodging for national and international travelers making pilgrimages to America’s “Home of the Blues”. Win served with distinction in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart as a decorated member of the Special Forces. He continued to assist the U.S. government throughout a long and distinguished career. He traveled to more than 300 counties. Win was buried, with an honor guard, at Arlington National Cemetery.

The Reese and Joelle Norris Service through Music Scholarship
The Community Foundation, CoroRio, and MidSouth Music Institute is pleased to offer a $500 college scholarship: The Reese and Joelle Norris Service through Music Scholarship. We are grateful to Reese and Joelle Norris for more than ten years of service to CoroRio and the MidSouth Music Institute. Together, they have nearly 50 years of teaching thousands of all ages throughout the MidSouth and across the country.
Starting in the Spring of 2024, the scholarship will be awarded each year to a student who is currently involved in CoroRio, plans to pursue a career related to music, and has demonstrated a passion for serving others through music, like Reese and Joelle.

The Rosa Lee Jennings Scholarship was established by residents of Wesley Meadows Retirement Community to honor the memory of beloved activity director, Rosa Lee Jennings. They conducted fundraisers and began an endowed fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi.
The scholarship is usually awarded to a high school senior who volunteers at Wesley Meadows.
