MPC Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Visiting Scholar Program
The Marine Policy Center (MPC) at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution invites applications for a limited number of Visiting Scholar appointments, supporting short-term residential visits at the intersection of ocean science, policy, and decision-making.
The program is designed to bring scholars and practitioners to Woods Hole for a focused period of collaboration with MPC researchers and the broader WHOI scientific community. We are particularly interested in individuals whose expertise complements or expands our current areas of focus and who are interested in engaging across disciplines.

Health and Wellness is a broad and multidimensional concept that includes many components such as: Safety, Medical, Physical Fitness, Nutrition, and Behavioral Health. For example, an individual can be very physically fit, but may be struggling with depression or be experiencing other stressors. While your program may not include all components listed above, if you can demonstrate an interactive process where your program promotes medical screenings, physical fitness, good nutrition, and/or addresses such issues as emotional health, suicide prevention, substance abuse, etc. and you have a success story of how this/these programs enhanced an individual(s) or your overall department, then we want to hear from you.
Outstanding Pediatric Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Abstract Awards
This award will provide $750 each to three fellows-in-training and $1000 each to two junior faculty who submit the best abstracts on research involving pediatric patients (birth to 21 years) that are accepted for presentation at the AAAAI Annual Meeting.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Allergy and Immunology (SOAI), in collaboration with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), is pleased to provide this award.
In addition, all award recipients will receive one year AAP and Section on Allergy and Immunology membership dues coverage if eligible.
Award selection is conducted by a combined AAP-SOAI and AAAAI committee. This AAP Section on Allergy and Immunology award does not preclude one from eligibility to receive additional travel grants and awards through other AAAAI programs.

The Washington County Community Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in Washington County by promoting and facilitating philanthropy. We accomplish this by assuming four philanthropic roles of Grantmaker, Donor Service Organization, Fundraiser, and Community Leader.

Knizacky Family Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of Fabian Knizacky, who established the Knizacky Family Memorial Scholarship of the Community Foundation for Mason County.
This scholarship is presented to graduating seniors from any Mason County School, Manistee Catholic School, or Manistee High School who have a Freesoil Community connection. The student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. He or she must demonstrate leadership ability, community involvement, and extracurricular high school activities. The recipient may pursue any degree at any Michigan two or four-year accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school.

Durham Foundation Fund in Honor of Shirley O'Neall
The Durham Foundation was established in 1944 for the purpose of maintaining Durham Home as a residence for independent women. In 1937, Sarah Durham established a trust to provide a comfortable home environment for women. The Durham Foundation operates as a 501c3 organization and oversees the home located at 215 West Main Street, Crawfordsville.
The Durham Foundation Fund was created by the Durham Foundation board of directors to honor Shirley O’Neall’s service to the organization for over 50 years. It is their wish to support local women pursuing education to better themselves and their contributions to the community.
