Peter Eisen Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who has experienced the loss of a biological parent before the age of 18. Students must have achieved a cumulative 3.0 GPA or better. Applicants will be evaluated on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service, work (paid or unpaid), and unmet financial need

The Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF) offers discretionary grants to support small-scale projects that promote health access in Maine. Siegel Family Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior or recent graduate (1-2 years out of high school) from the greater Newark area. Preference will be given to students who have been actively involved with GlassRoots, Inc., or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson & Union Counties. Students will be evaluated on academic performance (2.5 GPA or better), extracurricular activities, community service, work (paid or unpaid), and unmet financial need.

The Luling Foundation offers a one-time $1,000 Trade/Vocational Scholarship Grant to support students in Caldwell, Gonzales, and Guadalupe Counties pursuing vocational training. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, have a high school diploma, and maintain good academic and conduct records. This scholarship aims to promote education in trade skills, providing financial assistance for students beginning their vocational studies in the fall semester.

For a graduating senior of a high school located in Thomas County, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. The award is based on Academics, Financial Need, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular Activities and Community Service.

The Huron Community Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Huron area by providing funding for programs that address basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, the foundation prioritized support for food, shelter, and financial stability resources, aiming to assist those most affected by the crisis. The Connecticut State Department of Education offers Adult Education State Grants to support programs for adult learners in Connecticut. Recreation, heritage Mini-grant

The Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry and Tourism invites eligible entities to apply for the 2026 Outdoor Recreation and Heritage Mini-Grant Program to fund projects and programs that sustain, promote or enhance outdoor recreation offerings in the Oil Region National Heritage Area.

The historical significance of the Oil Region National Heritage Area (ORNHA) is the birthplace of the modern oil industry. ORNHA, which is managed by the ORA, includes all of Venango County, along with Titusville, Hydetown and Oil Creek Township in Crawford County.

Eligible entities may apply for more than one project so long as the total costs for the projects do not exceed $25,000 and the total grant request does not exceed $5,000.

A 50% match is required.

PennDOT Behavioral Highway Safety Grants

PennDOT’s Behavioral Traffic Safety Unit offers traffic safety grants to support local communities and organizations working to make Pennsylvania’s roads safer. Eligible applicants include local governments, universities within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, Pennsylvania state related universities, and nonprofit organizations.

These grants are funded through federal programs administered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) under 23 U.S.C. §402 and §405. Funding follows the federal fiscal year, which runs from October 1 through September 30.

Literary Arts Fund

The Literary Arts Fund will award at least $50 million in grants to the nonprofit literary arts field over the next five years, concluding in 2031.

With a short timeline, the fund’s grantmaking has a strategic focus on the areas of the literary arts ecosystem where it determined it could have the greatest impact— that is: supporting independent U.S.-based literary arts nonprofits whose primary mission is directly serving adult writers of creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and hybrid works in making their artistic work and sharing it with readers outside of school and academic settings. General Operating Grants Applications 2026 Guide

Background

The Literary Arts Fund was established in 2025 to dramatically increase funding for and the visibility of the nonprofit literary arts field toward ensuring a healthy and more robust U.S. literary culture in support of creative writers. The fund will award at least $10 million in grants to the nonprofit literary arts field in each of the next five years, concluding in 2031. The first open call is for 2026 general operating grant applications.

The San Antonio Area Foundation’s Animal Services grant focuses on improving the lives of pets and people through community engagement and funding for nonprofits. With a history of reducing euthanasia rates from 50,000 annually to over 90% live release since 2016, the foundation has made significant strides in animal welfare. Eligible organizations must operate in designated Texas counties and possess 501(c)(3) status. The foundation does not fund endowments, capital campaigns, or individual-related expenses.

The John P. Previti Memorial Foundation Grant offers funding to non-profit organizations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties that focus on supporting at-risk youth. Grants, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, are awarded to projects that provide essential services such as education, health, and basic needs. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and align with the foundation's mission to uplift underprivileged youth and families in the community.
