Helen Anita and William E. Evans, Jr., M.D. Scholarship Fund
The Dr. Bill Vocational Scholarship Fund was established to honor the legacy of a longtime family medicine physician in the Greater Kansas City area and his commitment to supporting employees of the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The scholarship provides financial assistance to children of current Kansas City VA Medical Center employees who plan to enroll or are enrolled in a vocational school. Eligible applicants must have a parent or legal guardian who has worked at least 30 hours per week in their current position for a minimum of one year. Selection is based on financial need, extracurricular involvement, and academic performance, with no age requirement. Awards are made annually, are non-renewable, and are disbursed as a one-time payment directly to the vocational school. Award amounts vary.

FTA Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Program
Purpose
The Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities program (49 U.S.C. 5339) makes Federal resources available to States and designated recipients to replace, rehabilitate and purchase buses and related equipment and to construct bus-related facilities including technological changes or innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles or facilities. Funding is provided through formula allocations and competitive grants. A sub-program provides competitive grants for bus and bus facility projects that support low and zero-emission vehicles.

Dale I. and Emma Mae Crawford Scholarship Fund for Veterinary Medicine
The Dale I. and Emma Mae Crawford Scholarship Fund for Veterinary Medicine, established by the Franklin County Community Foundation, provides scholarship support to Kansas residents admitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. Eligible applicants must reside in Kansas, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, and be accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. Scholarship award amounts vary and are intended to support students pursuing careers in veterinary medicine.

The Transformative Art for Public Spaces (TAPS) Grant supports initiatives that enhance public infrastructure to drive economic growth and community vitality. All organizations and individuals are welcome to apply.
Priority will be given to communities that have not received Commerce funding within the past three years, ensuring broader access to resources and maximizing statewide impact.
