Established by the family of Mr. Conaty to provide a college or post-secondary degree program scholarship to a student from Blue Ridge, Elk Lake or Montrose Area School Districts, including home schooled students from those districts. Preference will be given to a student who will pursue a degree in business or a related field.

J.M. Rubin Foundation
The J.M. Rubin Foundation's current focus is to provide scholarships to residents of Palm Beach County at any recognized educational institution. At the discretion of the Board, we provide charitable support to some organizations. However, we strive to limit this giving to local institutions or to the benefit of our local community.
Scholarship Overview
The J.M. Rubin Foundation, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit charitable corporation established in 1973. It has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service to make individual scholarship grants to recipients who must be bona fide residents of Palm Beach County, Florida.
In addition, all applicants must be U.S. citizens. The scholarship recipients need not attend any particular school, so long as the recipient is a candidate for certification or a degree. The recipients will be selected on the basis of academic and/or athletic achievement or promise as the basic criterion. Financial need is an additional factor, however, it is not required. The recipients will be selected from applicants on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis, including personal interviews if deemed necessary.

Robert and Diane Turrell Family Scholarship
Established by Robert and Diane Hill Turrell. Provides a post-secondary scholarship to a high school graduate who is a student of good moral character and who demonstrates financial need through their Student Aid Report. Students from Lackawanna Trail, Tunkhannock, Elk Lake, Homeschooled and Wyalusing Valley High Schools may apply. Priority will be given to students living in Habitat for Humanity Housing. The recipient may re-apply during each of the remaining years of undergraduate study until reaching the age of 25.
TryMarine Grant
The Reservoir Fish Habitat Partnership (RFHP) is seeking candidate pilot sites for evaluating two water quality treatment technologies—TryMarine and Oase Water Technology—in small urban fishing lakes (1–3 acres).
Urban fishing lakes are important community resources, providing accessible angling opportunities and supporting local outdoor recreation. Many of these lakes experience nutrient‑driven water quality impairments such as algal blooms, low dissolved oxygen, and reduced water clarity. These issues degrade fish habitat and diminish angler satisfaction.
This pilot initiative aims to identify lakes where these technologies can be tested to determine their effectiveness, feasibility, and potential for broader application across the RFHP network.

Open to students of color who identify as female, are graduates of any Grand Rapids Public Schools, Grandville, Godfrey Lee, Godwin, Kelloggsville, East Kentwood, or Wyoming high schools, with a minimum 2.0 GPA and who will enroll full time.

The Harvard Ed Portal (HEP) is a collaborative partnership involving Harvard, the Allston-Brighton community, and the City of Boston. Created in close consultation with the Allston community, it’s a space where Allston-Brighton residents, students, families, and professionals from every walk of life participate in innovative programming and learn from one another. From K–12 education and family programs, to opportunities for digital learning, career and economic development, personal wellness, and the arts, the Ed Portal provides countless resources to support and enrich the lives of those in and around the community.
Call for Artists: Gallery
The Harvard Ed Portal is seeking local artists for Crossings Gallery exhibitions with optional community program at 224 Western Ave in Allston, MA.
Applicants are encouraged to propose exhibitions that engage, inspire, and educate the Allston-Brighton community — including people of diverse backgrounds. Submissions from creatives of all experience levels are encouraged as well as solo artists or collaborations but our primary mission is to provide artists with their first professional gallery show, artist support and professional development. Preference will be given to artists living, studying and/or working in Allston-Brighton. We are also focused on the rest of Boston and Cambridge. BIPOC & LBGTQIA+ creatives are strongly encouraged to submit. Accommodations can be provided for artists with disabilities.
If selected, the artist will work collaboratively with the Ed Portal arts programming team to develop their exhibition scope, project feasibility and timeline.
Artists receive a standard exhibitor fee along with payment for their community program (if any). Fees typically range between $750–$2,000 depending on the number of people involved and project scope. The Ed Portal also provides marketing, a professional installer and gallery mentor, hosts a reception and covers participant expenses for optional community programs (ie workshop materials).
Criteria for jurying submissions may include but are not limited to: Relevance of topics; potential engagement & impact for diverse community audience; overall aesthetic of artwork or proposed artwork; and detail of application/proposal.

Call for Performers - Concerts in the Common
The Harvard Ed Portal is hiring family-friendly musical, dance, or other stage performers to perform 30-90 minute outdoor shows on select Wednesday afternoons June-October at the Brighton Farmers Market.
This free series presents eclectic live performances and can include acoustic or amplified music, dance, storytelling and/or educational entertainment. We are actively seeking a wide array of genres and performance styles, from Children’s music to hip hop, folk to salsa, funk or mariachi – surprise us!
Our primary mission is to serve the Allston-Brighton community through artist support and professional development. Applicants can be emerging entertainers or long-time pros. Preference will be given to performers living, studying and/or working in Allston-Brighton. We are also focused on the rest of Boston and Cambridge but welcome artists living throughout Greater Boston to apply with the understanding that priority will be given to those most closely affiliated with the local community. BIPOC & LBGTQIA+ creatives are strongly encouraged to submit. Accommodations can be provided for artists with disabilities.
Performances are held once a month at Brighton Common, a pocket park across from the Brighton Library with a large outdoor stage at one end. Load-in is at 3:00pm. Performances begin at 4:00pm.
Concerts are “fair weather only” but artists will be paid rain or shine as long as they report to the farmers market the day of the show ready to perform. Payment can range anywhere from $200-1200 per act depending on on set length, experience level, number of performers, etc. Transportation, parking, and food are at the performers’ expense.
Presented in partnership with the Brighton Farmer's Market and the Allston Brighton Health Collaborative.
Criteria for jurying submissions may include, but are not limited to: appropriateness for an all-age audience; readiness for 30 or 90 minute outdoor set; connection to local community; quality of performance and audience engagement; and diversity of style or genre.

Scholarships
We partner with donors to administer scholarships for students across the state. Most NCCF scholarships open for applications on Dec. 16, 2025, and close on March 3, 2026.
Undergraduates, graduates, medical and professional school students and adult re-entry students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities, career/technical schools, teaching credential programs and graduate, medical or professional schools in the United States are eligible for scholarships offered at NCCF.
Each scholarship has specific eligibility requirements defined by the donor when the scholarship was established. Be sure to read the requirements of each scholarship carefully as directed through the universal application and address those elements as needed in your application.
Grayce Wills MacDonald and Ivan A. MacDonald Endowment
Shall support students who attended high school in Cherokee, Graham, Clay, Swain, Macon, Jackson, Haywood, Buncombe, and Henderson counties, and who are pursuing a college or post-graduate level degree in the field of nutrition with emphasis on the study of natural foods and the vegetarian lifestyle. Scholarships may be based on both need and merit.

Grand Rapids Combined Theatre Scholarships
Open to full-time theatre arts majors at an accredited college/university in the U.S., who also have current or previous involvement in Grand Rapids community theater (Civic, Circle, Actors, Jewish, Heritage, Master Arts theaters), or with the theater program at Aquinas, Calvin, GRCC, or GVSU. Four scholarships are awarded annually, three of those are in honor of Norma Brinks, David and Emma Nicollette and Paul Dreher.

The Paramo Foundation Scholarship Award
The Paramo Foundation Scholarship Award is awarded annually to low income students attending a college or university focused on the trades, including but not limited to, cosmetology programs. The scholarship will provide a full scholarship for one year at a trades school.
Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors. Applications are accepted from mid-November until mid-March. Scholarship award recipients will be announced at the high school awards ceremony.
Wyoming County Community Health Foundation Scholarship
Established by the Wyoming County Community Health Foundation to provide tuition assistance to a graduating high school senior who resides in Wyoming County and will major in the health care field.
Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors. Applications are accepted from mid-November until mid-March. Scholarship award recipients will be announced at the high school awards ceremony.
Wyoming-Sullivan Counties Bar Association Scholarship
Established by the Bar Association of Wyoming and Sullivan Counties to provide college assistance to a High School graduate from those two counties who will major in the legal profession.
The Wyoming/Sullivan County Bar Association created its annual scholarship in 2020 to provide assistance to a deserving high school graduating from those two counties who plans on majoring in the areas of pre-law, criminal justice or sociology. The intent is to encourage the graduate to pursue a career in these fields and to return to their home county upon attaining their graduate or post-graduate degree in order to provide these needed services to their local community.
