Activities may include beach cleanups, shoreline and eco-system support, conservation initiatives and preservation, beach enhancements, public education programs on beach safety or ecology topics, lifeguard support (high-risk beaches) or surfing history.

The Ralph J. Torraco Scholarship for Seminarian Studies, funded by UNICO Foundation Inc, offers four scholarships worth $1,000 each to full-time seminarians attending accredited Catholic seminaries in the U.S. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and either reside in specific states or have a UNICO sponsor. This scholarship supports the educational journey of seminarians, reflecting UNICO's commitment to serving the community and promoting Italian American heritage.

The Walter F. Goodnough Trust Grant aims to support the rehabilitation of underprivileged disabled children in Florida through hospitalization services. Established by Walter F. Goodnough's will, this private trust provides an average grant size of $2,500 to $5,000, with a total annual giving of approximately $15,000. The Qlarant Foundation Grant supports grassroots organizations aiming to enhance healthcare access and improve health outcomes for under-served populations. With funding of up to $50,000, the foundation prioritizes projects demonstrating measurable impacts in areas such as patient safety and health education. Established in 2003, the grant is available to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations in select states, fostering initiatives that address health equity and improve quality of life for individuals and communities.
