This Account is used to create the Community Justice Reinvestment Grant program, which most recently distributed $1,017,474.54 in 2024 to fund:

• Chemical dependency and mental health treatment programs,
• Programs that improve supervision,
• Pretrial and precharge supervision programs,
• Programs to reduce recidivism of controlled substances offenders on probation or supervised release or participating in drug courts,
• Support local participation in drug court initiatives approved by the Judicial Council.

The Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation's Taylor Rural Improvements Grant offers up to $30,000 for impactful capital projects in communities with populations under 10,000. RFP: Provide Consultation Services for the Community First Services and Supports Program

The Minnesota Department of Human Services, through its Disability Services Division (STATE), is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders to provide Consultation Services for the Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) program. The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be for up to five (5) years. 

The STATE is responsible for administering long-term services and support for people with disabilities and older adults under publicly funded programs. The STATE’s mission is to help people meet their basic needs so they can live in dignity and achieve their highest potential. Currently, such services and support are being administered through Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant programs.  

The PCA program supports people who need help with day-to-day activities by providing personal care assistants to help with activities of daily living, behavior issues or other health related tasks. Such services are available to people with physical disabilities, chronic health conditions, behavioral diagnoses, and mental health illnesses, and allows these individuals to be more independent in their home, place of employment and community. PCA services under Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) are delivered through approximately 600 MHCP enrolled providers. 

The Therapeutic Giving: Oncology program by Johnson & Johnson focuses on funding initiatives that enhance patient access to treatments and services, promote health equity, and strengthen healthcare workforces. It supports programs that raise disease awareness, empower patients, and improve health systems with measurable outcomes. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, emphasizing innovative programs addressing healthcare disparities and unmet needs.

The Minnesota Youth at Work Competitive Grant supports workforce development for economically disadvantaged youth aged 14-24. Administered by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), it prioritizes programs that provide career education, serve under-represented communities, and assist youth with disabilities. P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) Competitive Grant – State Fiscal Year 2026

The Minnesota Department of Education makes this funding available to public school districts and charter schools for the purpose of providing start-up and ongoing support of P-TECH schools, established as a public-private partnership, that will prepare students for high skills jobs of the future in identified growth industries.

The P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) model integrates high school, college, and industry through partnerships among school districts, community colleges, and employers. With a focus on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields, it combines rigorous academics, workplace learning, mentoring, and internships. Students receive individualized support to accelerate progress toward both a high school diploma and an associate’s degree.

The model’s intended outcomes include preparing students with industry-recognized credentials and authentic workplace learning opportunities. While employment is not guaranteed, graduates are prioritized for opportunities with partner employers. P-TECH also broadens access to high-quality STEM education and lowers academic and financial barriers by aligning secondary and postsecondary pathways.

The Rural Initiative Grant Program by the Laura Jane Musser Fund aims to foster collaboration among rural communities in areas like economic development and education. Emphasizing community involvement, it encourages diverse participation and measurable outcomes within 18 months. Grants of up to $25,000 for implementation or $5,000 for planning are available, targeting nonprofit organizations and local governments in select states. Crime victim services grants

Description of the program

Crime victim services are crucial, life-saving resources for victims and a key element of public safety. The Office of Justice Programs’ Crime Victim Services Grants Unit distributes approximately $60 million in state and federal funds annually to 170 agencies throughout Minnesota to provide direct advocacy services to victims of crime. Federal funding in the program includes Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and Family Violence Prevention and Service Act (FVPSA).

Request for proposals (RFP)

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit applications for funding to provide direct services to crime victims in Minnesota. Funded grantees are expected to be a resource in their community and provide crime victim services as detailed in the Program Standards under which they are funded.

TC Energy’s Build Strong program supports vital organizations in communities near its operations. By providing grants, scholarships, and in-kind support, the program aims to enhance safety, education, environmental protection, and community well-being. Eligible applicants include non-profits and community groups addressing local needs. Ineligible activities include operational expenses and for-profit endeavors. The program prioritizes projects demonstrating measurable community impact, fostering a collaborative relationship between TC Energy and local stakeholders.

Farm to Food Security Grant Program

The Farm to Food Security (F2FS) Grant Program is a competitive funding opportunity to help individuals and organizations buy foods grown and raised in Minnesota and distribute them at no cost to Minnesotans experiencing food insecurity, particularly individuals whose needs are not met through the traditional emergency food system.

Eligible projects and expenses

All food distributions that are part of F2FS projects must take place in Minnesota, but how the food is shared can be based on the needs of the community.

Examples of eligible projects include but are not limited to:

• A local food shelf buying food produced by farmers in their county and then distributing the food as part of their weekly distribution events.
• A regional hospital establishing a “produce prescription” program to buy local foods and deliver them to families in need and individuals suffering from chronic illnesses.
• A Tribal government buying traditional foods grown by Tribal members and distributing the foods to elders.
• A farmers’ market implementing a food recovery program to pay farmers for products left at the end of the market and partnering with a local food shelf to distribute them.
• Eligible expenses include:
• Foods grown and raised in Minnesota, including whole (unprocessed), minimally processed, and processed items.
• Up to 15% of the total project costs for administrative costs related to food storage, food transportation, and other supporting expenses.

The Greater Lake Superior Foundation Grant Program provides $2000 grants annually to support graduate research on Coaster Brook Trout in Lake Superior and its tributaries. Eligible applicants must be graduate students from accredited universities in Michigan, Minnesota, Ontario, or Wisconsin, focusing on Fisheries Management, Limnology, Ecology, or Biology. Research topics include habitat requirements, migratory behavior, and management activities. Recipients must submit a project summary for publication on the GLSF website.

The WNAN Natural History Research Grant supports research in biological natural history within western North America. Grants of up to $2,500 are available for five authors to assist with travel, supplies, and other research-related expenses.
