The Women of Colors Scholarship will be awarded each year to a Great Empowering Motivational Sessions (GEMS) member that is an area high school senior actively involved in efforts to empower young women and in activities that address issues affecting young women in the Saginaw Community. If no GEMS members are high school seniors, applications will be accepted from non-GEMS applicants.

The PTA Connected: Build Up and Belong program, sponsored by Discord, aims to support high school families by fostering communication and relationships through technology. This initiative will select 20 local PTAs/PTSAs, each receiving $2,000 in funding. Participants will engage in discussions about creating positive digital communities, navigating online privacy, and conducting interactive family conversations about digital experiences, thereby enhancing belonging in the digital age.
