IDACORP’s Employee Community Funds is a long-standing initiative established over 50 years ago to support local 501(c)(3) agencies providing essential health and human services. Funded by both the company and employees, this employee-governed organization allows approved agencies to reapply for funding every two years, ensuring continued support for vital community services. Through these efforts, IDACORP demonstrates its commitment to enhancing the well-being of the communities it serves.

The Idaho Power Technical Scholarship offers two $2,500 awards for students residing in Idaho Power's service area. Eligible applicants must have a high school GPA above 2.75 or a GED and be enrolled in an accredited technical school program in Idaho. This scholarship supports those pursuing skilled trades such as linework, electric power, and welding. Awards are one-time grants for the academic year following the award.

The Ferguson Cares Grant is an essential aspect of Ferguson's Sustainability strategy, focusing on social challenges and community wellbeing. PLTW Computer Science - New Program In Partnership With Lam Research

The Lam Foundation supports schools implementing or expanding a PLTW program in or near several of their U.S. communities. Schools seeking support for PLTW Gateway or PLTW Engineering will receive priority. The Lam Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Lam Research, a leading provider of equipment and services to the semiconductor industry.

Program Requirements

The purpose of this grant is to assist the grantee's implementation of the PLTW Computer Science program. Grantee must offer at least one PLTW Computer Science course in the 2027-2028 academic year and must offer one additional course in the 2028-2029 academic year (two different courses in two years). Grantee may implement any PLTW Computer Science courses of their choosing. Grantee must complete two years of grant reporting.

We are honored to be the stewards of over 90 scholarship funds established by philanthropically-minded individuals in our community. Generous donors entrust us to connect them to dynamic students to provide financial resources for their education through scholarships. Our donors establish scholarship funds with criteria they wish to be met by applicants. Our scholarship committee considers the criteria, evaluates the submitted applications, and chooses the best candidates for each scholarship.

Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to individuals seeking financial support to obtain a certification or degree in the nursing field, including a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or a Registered Nurse (RN), Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), or nurse educator.
