The Marion L. Bates Endowment Fund for Faculty Enrichment supports educators in Rockford Public School District #205 to enhance their professional growth. The ASPET Poster Awards for undergraduates recognize exceptional scientific presentations at the ASPET Annual Meeting. This competition showcases the best research from young scientists, including undergraduates, graduates, and postdoctoral fellows. Awards are presented by ASPET divisions and the Mentoring and Career Development committee, with cash prizes varying by category. Eligible applicants must be ASPET members and present their research in poster format. This initiative encourages participation in pharmacology-related research.

Evergy’s Hometown Grant Program 

Awarded annually, this grant program provides up to $10,000 for basic needs initiatives. 

Projects must be basic needs focused for food security, housing, hygiene and bill payments. Health focused projects are not eligible. Projects should be for expanding capacity or special projects that are outside of normal operations.  

The ASPET Poster Awards recognize outstanding poster presentations by graduate and post-baccalaureate students at the ASPET Annual Meeting. These awards aim to highlight exceptional scientific work among young scientists. Participants must be ASPET members and present their research if selected. Prizes include cash awards, with amounts varying by category. This competition encourages students conducting pharmacology-related research to showcase their findings, fostering professional development in the scientific community.

The ASPET Poster Awards for Postdoctoral Scientists recognize exceptional poster presentations at the ASPET Annual Meeting. Open to members in good standing, the competition highlights outstanding scientific research from young scientists. Awards include cash prizes, with $300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third. Eligible applicants must submit one abstract and be presenting authors. This opportunity encourages participation from those engaged in pharmacology-related research, fostering innovation and excellence in the field.

The Division for Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Early Career Awards recognize outstanding contributions from early career scientists in translational and clinical pharmacology. Awardees receive support for travel expenses, up to $700, to attend the ASPET Annual Meeting, where they can present their research and network with peers. This initiative aims to foster professional development and collaboration within the pharmacology community.

Seattle Colleges Foundation Scholarships

Seattle Colleges Foundation scholarships are available to help students at North, Central and South cover tuition and/or living expenses while in school. Applications are accepted each year in Winter quarter for the upcoming academic year. One simple application qualifies current and incoming students to be considered for scholarships up to $5,000.

Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund

The Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund is designed to provide financial assistance for deserving students from Southeast Michigan who are afforded the opportunity to earn a college degree. 

The Pharmacology Educators Award aims to enhance participation in the ASPET Annual Meeting and support career development for pharmacology educators. This award offers financial assistance for attending the meeting and encourages recipients to engage in future educational activities. It includes a commemorative plaque and reimbursement of up to $1,000 for registration and travel expenses. Eligibility encompasses all faculty ranks with significant teaching roles in pharmacology, and preference is given to DPE members and those submitting educational abstracts.

The Littler Youth Fund provides grants to support youth programs and projects in Weld County, aiming to positively impact local youth aged 0-18. Eligible organizations must demonstrate measurable outcomes, address unmet community needs, and possess strong leadership. Preference is given to projects that enhance resource efficiency and community involvement. Grants are limited to one per organization per year, and specific ineligibilities apply, including funding for capital requests and individual scholarships.

The South Arts Southern Prize provides a unique opportunity for individual artists in the Southern region of the U.S. to showcase their scriptwriting talents. With a total of $35,000 in grants available, including a $25,000 Southern Prize and a $10,000 runner-up prize, this program supports artistic excellence and offers a two-week residency at The Hambidge Center. Eligible applicants must be legal residents of the Southern states and adhere to specific requirements. The program celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the American South.

The Adult Reentry Grant (ARG) Program, funded annually by the California Budget Act, provides essential support to community organizations delivering reentry services for formerly incarcerated individuals. Totaling $114 million, the grant prioritizes funding for warm handoff services and rental assistance, particularly for those transitioning from state prison to parole. This program embodies a Housing First approach, ensuring quick access to permanent housing without barriers related to sobriety or criminal history, promoting successful reintegration into communities.

The Trail Blazers Foundation Fund – PLAY Grant provides financial support to organizations that encourage youth activity. Aiming to combat inactivity in communities, the grant offers up to $25,000 annually, with a potential total of $50,000 over two years for qualifying programs. This funding is designed to inspire and create opportunities for kids and their families to engage in physical activities, enhancing their overall well-being and success in life.

The Kronkosky Charitable Foundation Grant focuses on enhancing the quality of life for aging adults, ensuring they receive essential care, basic needs, and opportunities to lead active lives. The foundation funds organizations that promote dignity for seniors, addressing both their physical and emotional well-being. Additionally, it supports initiatives that foster vibrant communities, emphasizing the importance of cultural and natural resources. This grant is specifically targeted at nonprofit agencies operating within Bandera, Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties.

The Montana State and Local Cyber Security Grant Program (SLCGP) aims to enhance cybersecurity across local jurisdictions by allocating $2,427,866 in FY 2022. Funded through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the grant supports various project areas, including end-user training and network monitoring. Eligible applicants like counties and school districts can request funding for projects identified by the Cybersecurity Planning Committee, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures are implemented statewide.

The Howard Gilman Foundation supports a diverse range of performing arts organizations in New York City, emphasizing equitable access to the arts. Anne D. Maloof Scholarship

This is a one-time scholarship for $3,000 to honor and financially assist graduate, professional or undergraduate students in Island, Kitsap, Jefferson, and Thurston counties.

The Susan T. Buffett Scholarship provides financial assistance to first-time freshmen from Nebraska who demonstrate financial need and plan to attend a public college in the state. Awarded based on competitive criteria, this scholarship renews each semester for up to five years at a four-year college or three years at a two-year institution. It supports students who have graduated from Nebraska high schools or earned a GED, ensuring access to higher education for those in need.

The PFund Foundation offers a Sponsorship Fund for events primarily serving LGBTQ+ communities in the upper Midwest. With sponsorship amounts ranging from $500 to $1,000, organizations can apply once per calendar year. Applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event and include information on the event's impact and how funds will be used. PFund aims to foster equity and strengthen networks within its focus areas.

The NCAA Division II Degree Completion Award provides financial assistance to student-athletes who have exhausted their athletics eligibility, enabling them to complete their first undergraduate degree. Since its inception in 2001, nearly $9 million has supported approximately 1,875 athletes, with a remarkable 90 percent graduation rate among recipients. The award covers tuition costs up to $15,000 for remaining credits and may be used in the summer term or short terms surrounding the final undergraduate year.

Scholarships

The Community Foundation’s Scholarship Program was established in 2000 by generous individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to ensure students can pursue their educational dreams. We administer a variety of scholarships for high school seniors and college students. The program awards more than 65 scholarships totaling over $420,000. All scholarships have individual criteria, deadline and requirements.

Yeager Science Scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to support students majoring in physical science or a related technical field at a college or university.

Doug Struthers Memorial Scholarship

Doug Struthers taught at Alexander Graham Bell Elementary in the Lake Washington School District for more than two decades. His hard work, commitment and perseverance made a difference in the school and the community. This scholarship fund was created in his memory to help young people learn skills to serve their communities. Four Lake Washington School District students every year are chosen to receive this $5,000 renewable scholarship.

Dominic and Jessie Vitulli Scholarship

The Dominic and Jessie Vitulli Scholarship Fund supports graduates of Northshore School District, who are enrolled full time in the undergraduate programs of the University of Washington. The intent of the scholarship is to encourage and assist students who demonstrate financial need, the potential to succeed, motivation, and overall “well-roundedness.” Academic achievement is not a primary consideration in awarding the Dominic and Jessie Vitulli Scholarship. This scholarship will be renewable for up to three additional years if pursing a Bachelors degree. 

The Women's Fund of Weld County Grant Program supports initiatives that promote the economic self-sufficiency and self-esteem of girls and women in Weld County. The fund prioritizes projects that focus on girls' futures and education, employment, training, and self-development. Grants are awarded to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that demonstrate a commitment to meeting the needs of women and girls, ensuring long-lasting community impact.
