Best Workforce Preparation Job Readiness Grants

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services is accepting applications for the Prerelease and Post Incarceration Services (PAPIS) Grant Program. The grant period is 12 months, starting from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. ServeNebraska 

ServeNebraska is the Nebraska Volunteer Service Commission. We coordinate community involvement by fellow Nebraskans to address the needs of our communities, and support community members in their volunteer efforts. ServeNebraska coordinates AmeriCorps programming, celebrates volunteer achievements through annual awards, and provides training and technical assistance for AmeriCorps programming.

AmeriCorps Competitive Grant

Their Evidence and Evaluation team seeks to discover and evaluate solutions for pressing social issues by funding rigorous causal research. This initiative focuses on studies that employ quasi-experimental methods to assess the impact of programs and policies in key areas like education and public finance, ultimately guiding effective resource allocation and policy reform.

The Northwest Community Bank Foundation supports non-profits that enhance community life through grants focused on education, housing, basic human services, and community impact. Eligible organizations include registered 501(c)(3) entities aligned with the Foundation's mission, serving areas across Connecticut. Delta Workforce Grant Program

DWP supports projects and initiatives that create a more vibrant economic future for the Delta region by expanding opportunities to recruit, train, and retain a diverse and local workforce; aligning workforce and economic development strategies; creating sustainable talent pipelines; establishing or enhancing locally/regionally significant sector-based partnerships; and supporting enhanced workforce productivity through investments in innovative programming or services.

The Initiative Foundation offers Nonprofit Capacity Building Grants to support organizations in Central Minnesota. These grants aim to strengthen local nonprofits, schools, and government units, with funding typically not exceeding $10,000. The CE Grants (aka Travel to Training) program offers funding up to $2,000 per person for continuing education events to enhance library workforce capacity in Nevada.
