Night Bloom: Grants for Artists is designed to enhance the arts community in Tucson, offering funding between $3,500 to $7,500 for innovative visual arts projects by local artists and groups. This initiative encourages artistic collaboration and engagement within the unique contexts of the Sonoran Desert region. Supported by MOCA Tucson and the Andy Warhol Foundation, it prioritizes projects that are free, accessible, and foster community interaction while adhering to specific eligibility criteria.

The Women’s Fund of Essex County provides grants to non-profit organizations that support at-risk women and girls in Essex County, focusing on gender-specific services. These scholarships typically go to students who have excelled in an academic area or have shown they can balance academics, volunteer work, and extracurricular activities. There are also scholarships designated for students who have overcome adversity, students pursuing degrees in high-need areas, and adult learners outside the traditional college age group. Community Foundation scholarships can help cover tuition, books, and on-campus housing.

The Meruelo Family Scholarship

The Meruelo Family Scholarship was established to provide support for dependents of Grand Sierra Resort & Casino and SAHARA Las Vegas team members who are a graduating high school senior or who are enrolled in a college or advanced learning program.

The qualifying Team Member must be a full-time employee at a qualifying property, have a minimum of one (1) year of employment, and be in good standing with the company at the time of application.

A total of $40,000 will be awarded annually; $20,000 for dependents of Grand Sierra Resort & Casino team members and $20,000 for dependents of SAHARA Las Vegas team members. Five (5) awards in the amount of $3,000 and one (1) Diamond Scholarship award in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded by each property. Funds will be distributed to any college or university for the student's benefit upon confirmation of enrollment and upon completing and signing a scholarship acceptance agreement. This scholarship is a one-time award but is renewable with reapplication.

The Foellinger Foundation Nonprofit Staff Leadership Award honors exemplary leadership among nonprofit staff members from organizations funded by the foundation in the past five years. One recipient will receive a $3,000 grant for professional development opportunities, including training and certifications. The award emphasizes adaptive leadership, organizational culture, community engagement, and professional growth, aiming to recognize individuals who drive impactful change within their organizations and communities.

Orville Belding Memorial Scholarship

You are eligible to apply for the Orville Belding Memorial Scholarship if you meet all of the following criteria:

• You are a student-athlete
• You were born and raised in Nevada
• Your family income shows a need for tuition assistance
• You are a Washoe County High School senior
• You have a minimum 1100/SAT or 20/ACT score
• You agree to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and provide a copy of your unofficial transcripts at the end of each semester you are receiving a scholarship

The Foellinger Foundation Nonprofit Executive Leadership Award honors exceptional nonprofit executives demonstrating outstanding leadership and impact in Allen County. Awarded to one recipient, the organization will receive a $5,000 grant for professional development activities, including leadership training and coaching. The selection criteria emphasize adaptive leadership, organizational culture, community engagement, and leadership development, ensuring that the award recognizes leaders who exemplify integrity, innovation, and resilience.

Russell A. and Sophia Jean Hall Scholarship Fund

The Russell A. and Sophia “Jean” Hall scholarship was established in 2003. Feeling fortunate and grateful for their own education, Jean and Russell created this scholarship as a way to pay forward and support vulnerable students seeking an education. Recognizing the value in all avenues of education and the financial hardship it creates, these Ohio State graduates created the scholarship to support students pursuing a degree at a state-supported college, university, vocational, or technical school in the state of Ohio.

Award Amount:

• Up to $10,000 payable over four years at $2,500 per year; depending upon the needs of the student.

ACS Award for Team Innovation

Purpose

To highlight the value and importance of technical teams and teamwork to the chemical and allied industries by recognizing a multidisciplinary team for successfully moving an innovative idea to a product in commercial use now.

The award was established in 1994 with financial support from the Committee on Corporation Associates of the American Chemical Society.

Description

The award will consist of a cash award of $6,000 which will be shared equally by all team members. Each team member will receive a certificate and a certificate will also be provided to the employers of the team.

Red Oak Community School Scholarship

The scholarship program is designed for students who are enrolled at Red Oak Community School (ROCS), a tuition-based elementary school serving K-5 students across central Ohio. The scholarship program was created by and for the families who make up the ROCS community. It is funded through various independent, community-led fundraising efforts throughout the school year and is meant to lower financial hurdles to enrollment.

The MN PGA Military Grant, provided by the Professional Golfers Association of America, aims to enhance the mental, social, physical, and emotional well-being of veterans and active military members through golf. Funded by the 100 Holes for Hope initiative, this grant supports PGA Professionals in introducing the game to service members and their families, fostering a sense of community and wellness through golf participation.

Chris & Gene Smith "Get and Education" Memorial

To provide financial support to graduates who reside in Hand County.

Chris and Gene were born and raised in Hand County. They encouraged their children with what could be referred to as their family motto, “get an education” as that is something that cannot be taken away from you. As a result, all their children and grandchildren have received post-secondary educations.

City of Chicago's UNCF Workplace Campaign Scholarship

The City of Chicago's UNCF Workplace Campaign Scholarship will provide a one-time, merit-based scholarship of $5,000 for students of any classification who have a parent or guardian employed by the City of Chicago and its affiliate agencies. Students must be enrolled full time at any U.S. four-year, accredited college or university in the 2026-2027 school year.

The City of Chicago’s UNCF Workplace Campaign Scholarship was created in partnership with the City of Chicago and UNCF to ensure that dependents of City of Chicago employees can earn a college degree.

This merit-based scholarship is open to full-time, four-year university students of any classification who have a parent or guardian employed by the City of Chicago and its affiliate agencies.

Tommy C. Turner Memorial Scholarship

This fund was established to benefit graduating seniors of any Elmore County high school who attend a school that is part of The University of Alabama system (e.g., The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, The University of Alabama in Huntsville or The University of Alabama at Birmingham). Scholarships may be renewed annually. The criteria considered are the applicant’s need, academic performance and ability.

• High School Transcript, Essay, References, Copy of IRS 1040A or 1040EZ and Interview

Wyndall Ivey Scholarship

The scholarship has been established in memory of Attorney Wyndall Ivey, a 1992 graduate of Sidney Lanier High School (Lanier Academic Motivational Program), the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Washington and Lee University School of Law. Eligible applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded.

Wayne Hawkins Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship benefits students who are children of employed or independent, exclusive sales representatives or insurance agents of Alfa Mutual Insurance Company or its insurance affiliates or subsidiaries. Awarding is based on academic achievement.

The Murray Watson, Jr. Scholarship offers a $5,000 award each month to Texas students. Funded by Brazos Higher Education, this scholarship aims to support students in achieving their college dreams, whether they are high school seniors or current college attendees. Eligibility includes being a Texas resident with a minimum GPA of 3.3. This initiative is part of Brazos' commitment to making education more accessible and affordable for Texas families.

The KONG Toy Grant, offered by the Petfinder Foundation in collaboration with KONG, aims to enhance the adoptability of shelter pets by providing enriching toys. This initiative supports animal shelters and adopters throughout North America, helping to keep pets mentally stimulated and happy. By focusing on pet enrichment, the grant seeks to increase the chances of successful adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia of adoptable animals. The IDHS/DBHR through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is seeking providers to provide prevention and outreach services to individuals and the general community around gambling disorder. Applicants with gambling disorder experience are preferred though all applicants will be considered. Applicants may apply for innovative outreach and/or prevention services including school-based prevention curriculums identified by IDHS/DBHR. In SFY27, the Department anticipates the availability of approximately $3,500,000 in total funding for applicant and any subgrantees. The grant period will begin July 1, 2026, and will end on June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for an additional two full years, if funding is available. The release of this NOFO does not obligate the Illinois Department of Human Services to make an award. Services may not be provided until a contract is fully executed by the Department.

• IDHS is working to counteract systemic racism and inequity, and to prioritize and maximize diversity throughout its service provision process. This work involves addressing existing institutionalized inequities, aiming to create transformation, and operationalizing equity and racial justice. It also focuses on the creation of a culture of inclusivity for all regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or ability.
• The IDHS/DBHR is seeking organizations with a history coordinating gambling disorder engagement and screening events though new organizations will be considered.

The goals, objectives and deliverables of this program are:

• The award will contribute to achieving the program's goals and objectives by ensuring the statewide provision of services that accomplish the deliverables noted below. Services will be designed to support and inform individuals with potential gambling problems, their friends/family members, and the general community.
• Organizations will provide for the production and publication, in electronic and other formats, of gambling prevention, recognition, treatment, and recovery literature and other public education methods.

The Greater Texas Foundation's Aggie Scholars Program aims to support graduates of early college high schools in achieving their degrees from Texas A&M University. This initiative focuses on underserved and socioeconomically disadvantaged students, offering a three-year scholarship awarded in six stipends. To qualify, applicants must complete the FAFSA or TASFA by April 15 and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 while living on campus during their first year. The program encourages academic persistence and community involvement.
