Paul L. MacAnaney Memorial Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Eligibility

• Graduating high school senior from any Palm Beach County high school
• Open to students pursuing a non-traditional technical education. Preference to students studying auto mechanics
• Demonstrate financial need

The Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County Fund offers grants aimed at empowering women aged 18 and older facing challenging situations. Grants range from $1,000 to $40,000, targeting organizations that enhance workforce development, financial literacy, and economic stability for women. Palm Beach Newspapers Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Eligibility

• Graduating high school senior from any Palm Beach County high school, must be a Palm Beach county resident
• For use at a two or four year college or university
• Demonstrate financial need
• Must have maintained a C average or better while in high school

The Teens About Serving the County (TASC) Youth Grant provides funding of up to $2,500 to non-profit organizations that support youth programs in Henry County, Indiana. Managed by a committee of students and foundation representatives, the grant encourages projects that directly address community needs and benefit the youth. Eligible applicants include youth organizations, community groups, and schools. The TASC Committee meets four times a year to review proposals, ensuring adherence to their mission and effective use of funds.

Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council Scholarship Fund

About the Fund

The Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council is a multi-disciplined organization that supports the team concept of estate planning. We admit membership attorneys, trust officers, accountants, insurance, wealth and financial planners and planned giving professionals, as well as allied professionals.

Annual Scholarship Available

Each year the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council awards a total of $10,000 in $2,500 scholarships each to Four (4) deserving students from Palm Beach County.

The Harold E. and Imogene L. Caine Memorial Fund Grants support Henry County non-profit organizations that provide holiday assistance to children aged 5 and under. Established by Harold Caine, this fund aims to bring joy during the holidays by ensuring that local children receive the help they need. Organizations must submit a list of beneficiaries to avoid duplication, and confidentiality is maintained for the names provided.

The ECCF: Buckeye Broadband Fund, managed by the Erie County Community Foundation, supports health care providers classified as public charities under IRS Section 501(c)(3). This initiative aims to enhance community well-being by funding the purchase of essential health care equipment. Eligible organizations include non-profits, churches, and schools serving Erie County residents. The foundation encourages proposals that foster collaboration, sustainability, and significant community impact, while ensuring compliance with grant-making priorities.

The Illuminate the Arts Grant (ITAG) supports small nonprofit arts organizations in Philadelphia with operating budgets under $100,000. A total of $1.5 million will be allocated to enhance creative practices and expand access to the arts in underserved neighborhoods. This initiative, established in 2021, seeks to uplift historically marginalized communities and foster Philadelphia's cultural vibrancy while ensuring equitable distribution of funds through collaboration with local advisory committees.

The Illuminate the Arts Grant (ITAG) aims to support Philadelphia's creative sector, particularly those historically underfunded. With $1.5M available, grants between $5,000 and $7,000 will be awarded to mid-size nonprofit arts organizations with budgets from $100,000 to $500,000. This initiative, established to aid recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, focuses on enhancing public access to the arts and fostering cultural vibrancy in economically marginalized neighborhoods.

The ECCF: Lake Erie Environmental Education Fund supports projects that promote environmental awareness through educational workshops and field trips for students, specifically addressing local environmental issues. Funded by the Erie County Community Foundation, this initiative encourages collaboration among non-profit organizations to enhance community benefits and sustainability. Eligible applicants include tax-exempt organizations serving Erie County residents, focusing on projects that foster learning about the environment.

Mickey Mandelblatt Memorial Scholarship Fund

About the Fund

Mickey Mandelblatt lived a life defined by compassion, achievement and an unwavering commitment to helping others. Born March 16, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mickey grew up in a close-knit family with his two sisters, Carole and Nancy. After graduating from Germantown High School in 1963, he attended Penn State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting before launching a successful career.

Mickey began his professional journey at Price Waterhouse, where he rose to the position of senior manager and earned his CPA certification. In 1978, he joined Pantry Pride, one of the nation’s largest supermarket chains, and was soon asked to relocate to Fort Lauderdale to help lead the company’s turnaround. His leadership was instrumental in Pantry Pride’s historic emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and he was named chief financial officer in 1983. Following the sale of Pantry Pride in 1986, Mickey pursued a career in money management.

While his professional accomplishments were impressive, Mickey’s true passion was his family and community. Married for 26 years to his wife, Charlotte, he was a devoted father to their three children: Eric, Ali and Kasey. Friends and family remember him as a man whose mission was to enrich the lives of those around him — a mission he fulfilled with unmatched generosity and heart.

To honor Mickey’s legacy and continue his work, his family established the Mickey Mandelblatt Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The fund supports scholarships for students who demonstrate both need and promise — helping future generations realize their potential and, in doing so, realize Mickey’s dream of a more equitable world.

The Mary Ridder Cherny Fund, established in memory of Mary Agnes Ridder Cherny, supports Quincy public and parochial K-12 schools in fostering youth participation in the performing arts. The fund offers financial assistance for lessons, workshops, and instrument purchases, ensuring students can pursue their artistic talents. Grants, awarded annually, are based on recommendations to the Community Foundation’s Board, which retains the discretion to manage fund allocations. This initiative honors Mary’s lifelong passion for music and education.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation offers a Master's, Ph.D. or other Advanced Degree Scholarship Program, supporting students pursuing graduate education. With nearly $8 million awarded annually, the foundation prioritizes undergraduate funding but provides competitive scholarships for graduate studies, including medical school. The scholarship amounts range from $250 to $5,000, with an average of $3,500. Eligibility includes residency in New Hampshire or select communities in neighboring states, and awards are based on financial need and academic merit.

Maura and William Benjamin Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Eligibility

• Graduating high school senior from any Palm Beach or Martin County high school
• Demonstrate leadership and community service
• Not based on financial need

The Cyberinfrastructure for Sustained Scientific Innovation (CSSI) program by the National Science Foundation aims to provide flexible funding opportunities to address evolving needs in cyberinfrastructure. It supports various award classes, including Elements for small groups, Framework Implementations for larger interdisciplinary teams, and Transition to Sustainability for established CI projects. These initiatives focus on developing integrated CI services, ensuring sustainable impact, and promoting collaboration across scientific disciplines to enhance research and innovation.

The Paraprofessional to Teacher Reimbursement Grant, Round 3, offered by the Georgia Department of Education, aims to recruit teachers within local educational agencies and GNETS programs in Georgia. This initiative provides financial assistance to paraprofessionals who are pursuing their teaching certification through the Georgia Teacher Academy for Preparation Pedagogy Program (GaTAPP), thereby enhancing the workforce of qualified educators in the state.

Minnesota Department of Human Services

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Mission is driven by collaboration with community and partners – Counties, Tribes, non-profit and for-profit providers – supporting people to thrive in community and live their healthiest and fullest lives. The DHS Vision is that all people in Minnesota have what they need to thrive in community with no disparities.

Request for Proposals for a Grantee to Improve Access to Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)

DHS, through its Behavioral Health Administration, is seeking to address the public health crisis caused by escalating opioid and stimulant use, Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), Stimulant Use Disorder, and opioid and stimulant-related morbidity and mortality across the nation.

Objective of RFP

The Minnesota Department of Human Services, through its Behavioral Health Administration (STATE), is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders to improve access to medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) services throughout Minnesota. The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be for fifteen months, from August 1, 2026 until September 29, 2027. STATE may extend the contract up to a total of five (5) years.

Funding will be allocated through a competitive process. Successful Responders may only incur eligible expenditures when the grant contract agreement is fully executed and the grant has reached its effective date.

Substance Abuse & Recovery Grants

These grants are available to nonprofits, healthcare providers, and government agencies. 

Child and Family Advocacy Center Fund 

During the 2025 legislative session, the Arizona Legislature appropriated monies from the State General Fund into the Child and Family Advocacy Center fund for the purposes of funding grant support to Child and Family Advocacy Center’s (CFACs) across the state.

To address this need, the AGO is providing up to $100,000 for multiple, one-time grant awards based on all victims served per CFAC in calendar year 2024.

The Howard C. Gale Excellence Scholarship, offered by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, awards 5-10 scholarships of up to $2000 each to high-achieving students. Eligible candidates must graduate from a career or technology center in Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry county, possess a minimum GPA of 3.5, and intend to pursue a career in the construction industry or related fields, such as Architecture or Engineering.

The Garman Builders Phil Shatto Legacy Scholarship, established by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, supports local youth pursuing education in construction-related fields. Annually, 5-10 scholarships of up to $2000 are awarded based on academic performance and career aspirations, with a focus on students entering the Building/Construction Industry. This initiative, active since 1987, encourages future workforce development in essential sectors like Architecture and Engineering.

The Grove Family Fund #2 at HACC provides essential scholarships to students pursuing their education at Harrisburg Area Community College. This fund supports both full-time and part-time students, emphasizing the importance of academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in nursing or Dental Hygiene programs, demonstrating financial need. The fund is managed by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, which is dedicated to enhancing local community welfare through various charitable initiatives.

VDF

What is the Arizona Veterans' Donation Fund?

The Arizona Veterans' Donation Fund (VDF), established in 1999 by the Arizona legislature (A.R.S. § 41-608), funds programs that benefit Veterans and their families throughout Arizona. Arizona State law specifies that tax-deductible donations to, and monies held in, this account can never revert to the State General Fund.

The VDF consists of monies, gifts and contributions donated to the department and donations made through the purchase of Veteran, Women Veteran, and Freedom Special License Plates. The assets held in the account can only be used to benefit Veterans in the State of Arizona through small grants and large grants, each with their own documented application process.

Small Grant

• Grants of $4,999.99 or less 

Substance Use Block Grant (SUBG) Program

The Substance Use Block Grant (SUBG) is awarded through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The GOYFF invests $5 million in Arizona organizations to implement substance use prevention and early intervention services to youth, adults, families, and communities. SUBG dollars allow organizations to develop and implement evidence-based drug prevention programs, screening, and behavioral health and substance abuse assessments.

Funding is also allocated to the Trauma-Informed Substance Abuse Prevention Program (TISAPP), which aims to prevent substance abuse by supporting and expanding the use of trauma-informed care principles. The program uses culturally competent evidence-based programs and promising practices to increase protective factors, build resilience, and raise awareness of the impact of trauma. Organizations that receive funding develop programs to address the use and misuse of vaping, alcohol, wax pens, marijuana, polysubstance, or other community-identified drug trends.

Mission: The Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico serves as a community resource, connects donors to needs, and supports charitable organizations in their work.

CFSNM offers scholarships that support students from all walks and stages of life in pursuing various avenues of their educational and professional journeys.

Applicants must be pursuing any avenue of higher education and/or professional certifications. This includes undergraduate, post-grad, vocational and more! Applicants must be actively enrolled as a student. Applicants in high school must be a graduating senior.
