The Gary Williams Family Engineering Scholarship at Montana State University is designed to support undergraduate students pursuing a degree in engineering. The Gary Twiford Memorial Business Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing a degree at the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship, with a focus on rural Montana residents. This scholarship reflects MSU's commitment to providing life-changing educational opportunities. It aims to assist those who are dedicated to enhancing their communities through business education, ensuring that future leaders are equipped to drive economic growth in Montana.

Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity

Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) provides the connections, expertise and innovative solutions to drive continued business growth, build vibrant communities, create affordable housing, generate tourism and attract and retain key talent to fill Michigan’s vast pipeline of opportunities.

MIOSHA Workplace Improvement to Safety and Health (MIWISH) Grant Program

The MIOSHA Workplace Improvement to Safety and Health (MIWISH) Grant Program awards qualifying employers a dollar-for-dollar match – up to $5,000 – to purchase safety and health-related equipment and equipment-related training. The goal of the program is to create a safer and healthier work environment and reduce the risk of injury and illness to workers in Michigan.

This is a reimbursement program. Grant awards are limited to one per company. Invoices dated prior to the approved contract date are not eligible for this program. Grants are awarded to employers that best satisfy the MIWISH goals.

Examples of eligible grants include:

• Eyewash stations
• Fall protection systems
• Machine guarding
• Lock out/tag out systems
• Monitoring equipment and equipment for noise
• Lifting equipment for small nursing care facilities

The 4Culture Landmarks Capital Grants program supports the preservation of historic buildings and landscapes in King County. By funding projects that enhance community visibility, accessibility, and economic impact, this program fosters a stronger regional identity. Eligible applicants include individuals, businesses, and local governments owning designated historic properties. Grants of up to $30,000 can be used for restoration efforts, emphasizing sustainable practices and public benefit. Projects addressing urgent preservation needs are prioritized, particularly from historically marginalized communities.

The Gary Long Math Scholarship at Montana State University supports Montana high school graduates pursuing a degree in Mathematics. This scholarship is designed for students with sophomore status or above, who can demonstrate financial need. By offering financial assistance, this scholarship aims to empower students in their educational journey and contribute to their success in the field of Mathematical Sciences.

Helen Tomlinson Hobart Scholarship Endowment

Graduates of a public high school in Johnston County with plans to attend an accredited university or community college with a career objective to become a public-school teacher. “Public high school” does not include schools that are considered or classified as charter schools.

The scholarships we award vary each year based on the unique criteria of each scholarship. In 2025, we awarded over $3 million in scholarships to over 500 students, including $1.3 million to 110 students in western NC through our Disaster Relief and Resilience Scholarship.

Alpha Beta Chapter Scholarship Fund

Depending on the scholarship, it may pay for tuition, room and board, books, fees and/or other related educational expenses. This will be outlined in your award notification. The minimum scholarship award amount is $1,000.

NCCF scholarship awards are only issued to not-for-profit institutions and government entities such as public colleges or universities.

Ralph Edwin and Ruby Irene Holloman Davis Scholarship Endowment

Applicants are graduating seniors from high schools in Johnston County who are continuing their education at a college, university, community or junior college, technical school, nursing school, or other post-high school training leading to a degree or associate degree, with preference to those who have financial need.

The Gary J. and Boyd A. Smith Memorial Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. This scholarship aims to assist those who demonstrate financial need, ensuring access to quality education. Founded in 1893, MSU is a prestigious institution dedicated to transformative higher education, focusing on the mission of education, research, and outreach. This scholarship exemplifies MSU's commitment to fostering future educators.

The Don Rossi Scholarship, established by the National Golf Course Owners’ Association in 1993, supports college juniors and seniors majoring in Sports Administration or related fields. This scholarship aims to foster careers in golf-related industries, encouraging students nationwide to pursue their aspirations. Funded by the Coastal Community Foundation, it reflects a commitment to education and community growth, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder talented individuals from achieving their goals.

The McBryde Scholarship Endowment

Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic performance, character and demonstrated need. Consideration also may be given for extra-curricular activities and service to others.

Depending on the scholarship, it may pay for tuition, room and board, books, fees and/or other related educational expenses. This will be outlined in your award notification. The minimum scholarship award amount is $1,000.

Established in 1893, MSU has a long-standing commitment to education and community transformation through scholarships. The Garsjo-Bartram Family Scholarship at Montana State University supports incoming freshmen who are graduates of Valley County high schools. Established to promote education, this scholarship reflects MSU's commitment to transforming lives through accessible higher education. Students pursuing degrees at MSU can benefit from this opportunity, furthering their academic and personal growth while contributing to their communities.

The Gallatin Valley Ag Committee Scholarship, offered by Montana State University, supports students pursuing a degree in Agriculture. Applicants must be Montana high school graduates, undergraduate students with a minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate leadership and community involvement. Preference is given to graduates from Gallatin County. This scholarship aims to foster academic excellence and community engagement among future agricultural leaders.

CFEM Excellence in Education Grant

The Excellence in Education Grant is to support worthy educational projects in any of the five counties we serve: Clarke, Kemper, Lauderdale, Neshoba, or Newton counties.

This grant was created in memory of Mr. Walter L. Smith, a dedicated business associate of Mr. Phil Hardin in the management of Hardin’s Bakeries Corporation. It is said that Mr. Smith showed a deep and abiding interest in the well-being of East Mississippi and its people.

The Morris Animal Foundation is dedicated to improving the health of animals through scientific research and funding. With a focus on domesticated cats, the Feline Health First Award supports innovative research that addresses the welfare of both community and pet cats. Grants are available for projects lasting up to 24 months, with a maximum budget of $120,000. This initiative encourages collaborations that translate research findings into practical applications for veterinarians and cat caretakers.

The George and Elizabeth McClure, Jr. Family Scholarship for Finance at Montana State University supports full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Finance from the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Preference is given to Montana high school graduates. This scholarship aims to enhance educational opportunities and foster academic success, contributing to the development of future leaders in the field of finance.

Virginia A. Bowmaker Scholarship

Awarded by Virginia A. Bowmaker Scholarship Trust Fund of the City of Utica, New York

Established to benefit qualified graduates of public and parochial schools in Utica who demonstrate eagerness for intellectual and cultural advancement.

Candidates are identified by Utica Dollars for Scholars.

The George and Elizabeth McClure, Jr. Family Scholarship in Art at Montana State University supports undergraduate students pursuing a degree from the School of Art. Applicants must be full-time students and preferably Montana high school graduates. This scholarship reflects MSU's commitment to providing access to transformative education, enriching the lives of students and their communities through the arts.

The George and Elizabeth McClure, Jr. Family Scholarship in Accounting at Montana State University supports undergraduate students pursuing a degree in the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship. This scholarship is designed for full-time students, with a preference for those who are graduates of Montana high schools. It aims to provide financial assistance to those seeking to transform their lives through higher education in accounting and business.

The George A. Clemow Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering at Montana State University supports students pursuing degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. This scholarship is available to junior or senior students, with a preference for residents of Big Horn or Yellowstone County, Montana. It aims to promote educational access and success for those dedicated to engineering, reflecting MSU's commitment to transforming lives through higher education.

UNCF’s North Star is to increase the total annual number of African American college graduates by focusing on activities that ensure more students are college-ready, enroll in college and persist to graduation. This is done through a three-pillar strategy. Positioning member institutions as a viable college option for students and investing in institutional capacity to improve student outcomes; creating transformational support programs to ensure students are enrolling and persisting through college completion; building awareness of educational attainment and cultivating college-going behaviors within the African American community.Scholarship The Philadelphia Orchestra & Ensemble Arts Scholarship, in partnership with UNCF, is providing $5,000 merit-based scholarships to performing artists who are from the greater Philadelphia area and are rising juniors attending an HBCU.  

The Gene Donaldson Scholarship, offered by Montana State University, supports students pursuing a degree in Agriculture. This scholarship is available to Montana high school graduates who are juniors or seniors and actively involved in their communities. It reflects MSU's commitment to education and transformative opportunities for students. With limited awards for incoming students, this scholarship aims to foster academic success and community engagement within the agricultural field.

HLP Hamakua Community Foundation: Annual College Scholarship

Taka Domingo was a lifetime resident of the Hamakua and founding board member of the HLP Hamakua Community Foundation. He was born in Kukuihaele and attended Honoka'a High School. After working for 30 years at Hamakua Sugar Company as an electrician, he embarked on a career in public service representing Hamakua on the Hawaii County Council for the 20 years. This vocational scholarship is being offered in his honor.

The HLP Hamakua Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that was formed to benefit the people of Hamakua. An annual scholarship is awarded to encourage students that graduate from Honoka'a High School or students who live in the Hamakua District to further their education upon graduation.

Individual award amount:

• $2,000.00. Scholarships will be awarded upon proof of enrollment and must be claimed by November 1, of the year the scholarship is awarded.
• Applications are available at your school counselor’s office or online.

The Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ SAM Grant supports organizations that align with its mission as a Just Peace and Open and Affirming Congregation. Grants, ranging from $500 to $5,000, are available for general operating support or special projects. Eligible organizations are those that meet basic human needs and can engage Rock Spring volunteers, primarily in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, and those in alignment with the values of the United Church of Christ.

The Gene and Marlys Cook Engineering Scholarship at Montana State University supports students pursuing degrees in engineering. Established in 1893, MSU is dedicated to providing transformative education and research opportunities. This scholarship is part of the university's commitment to offering financial assistance to incoming students, promoting academic excellence and fostering future engineers. The award reflects MSU's mission to empower students and enhance community development through education.
