Grants range from $2,500 to $30,000, prioritizing projects that demonstrate a clear oral health focus, collaboration, and inclusion of diverse communities. This effort seeks to prevent severe oral health issues and improve overall community well-being.

The UPLIFT Organization Resource Grant is available to formal library organizations for specialized training. It allows development, implementation, and evaluation of training efforts that upgrade the skills of library staff, trustees, and their supporters by addressing local needs. Applicable applicants are the Utah Library Association (ULA) and the Utah School Library Association (USLA). Allowable costs include: (1) Trainer fees, (2)  Room rental in non-library or agency facility if required, (3) Duplication/purchase of training materials. The grant does not cover indirect costs of the training, nor meals.

The Society of Family Planning is dedicated to advancing equitable access to contraception and abortion through science. The recent approval of Opill, the first over-the-counter oral contraceptive in the U.S., presents a unique opportunity to enhance contraceptive access. This initiative encourages research on implementation strategies to address cost, distribution, and education, ensuring the successful integration of over-the-counter contraceptives into healthcare options for all.

The David Center for the American Revolution Predoctoral Fellowship at the American Philosophical Society provides a nine-month residential opportunity for Ph.D. candidates focused on the American Revolution and Founding Era. The fellowship offers a $25,000 stipend and a $5,000 travel/research fund. Applicants should demonstrate the necessity of using the center's extensive collections and the ability to complete their project on time. Open to all graduate students, it does not provide visa sponsorship.

The Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area seeks to ensure that our community thrives today, tomorrow, and forever by building our Community’s Endowment to support high impact charitable projects, helping donors achieve their charitable goals, and leading and partnering in community-level initiatives.

Scholarships

CFHZ awards over $1 million in scholarships each year for students to attend schools of higher education throughout the nation. Our scholarships are possible thanks to the generosity of donors who invest in our community’s future by furthering the education of others.

All Holland/Zeeland area individuals interested in post-secondary education are encouraged to apply for CFHZ scholarships.

The Foundation proudly administers over 100 scholarships, each with unique eligibility criteria that must be met before a candidate can be considered.

Grace Piersma Memorial Scholarship

• Graduating senior or graduating early college student who attends public, private, or home school in the primary service area of the Community Foundation
• Enrolling at Hope College
• Financial need, a consideration (encouraged to supply the page of the FAFSA Submission Summary showing the Student Aid Index amount)
• Planning to major in dance, music, athletic training, business or a major closely related to any of these (for example: management, economics, or kinesiology)

Technology Grants

These grants are open to any public library in Tennessee for the purchase of technology for use in the library. This is a 50/50 matching grant, which means that for every grant dollar received, a matching local dollar is required. This is a reimbursement grant, so as the grantee receives applicable invoices for purchases made, the State will reimburse half of each until the grant award has been met.

Applications will be rated based on need and the applicant’s ability to meet or exceed the following terms and conditions:

• Are a recognized public library by TSLA;
• Are currently in compliance with Children’s Internet Protection Act;
• Follow the grant application procedures and meet grant application deadlines;
• Demonstrate a clear ability and designated personnel to administer the grant responsibly;
• Present realistic cost/funding estimates under $20,000.00 for the grant objective;
• Offer well-focused, specific project proposals that identify specific objects or supplies to be procured, that concentrate on promoting technology in the public library for the staff and the public.

2027 Technology Grant

The Tennessee State Library and Archives is pleased to provide a grant opportunity to public libraries across Tennessee for their technology needs. This grant is supported in part by the U. S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.

The 2027 Technology Grant is available for public libraries to replace or purchase technology for use by staff or the public. Grant funds are available for the following:

• Computers
• Software
• Networking hardware
• Peripherals

The Akron Community Foundation's Community Fund Grants for Civic Affairs support nonprofits in Summit County to enhance community well-being through citizen engagement and quality-of-life programs. Grants promote organizational strength, systemic impact, accountability, and inclusiveness, ensuring that funded initiatives address immediate needs while fostering long-term improvements. Eligible applicants must be approved 501(c)(3) organizations serving the region, while ineligible requests include endowments, scholarships, and direct financial support to individuals.

The I Tatti/Museo Nacional del Prado Joint Fellowship offers early and mid-career art historians a unique opportunity to conduct research in Madrid and Florence during the 2024-2025 academic year. With terms at both prestigious institutions, fellows will receive monthly stipends, housing assistance, and access to extensive resources. The Dr. Seuss Foundation aims to enhance literacy through strategic partnerships and funding. While there will be no public granting cycle for 2025, the Foundation is planning for 2026. It supports evidence-based programs that prepare children for school, particularly those from underserved communities. Key priorities include improving instructional quality, expanding early education services, and promoting arts and environmental education. The foundation values creativity, excellence, and community engagement while focusing on diverse and equitable opportunities.

The American Association for Anatomy offers Student/Postdoc Travel and Competition Awards to support attendance at the annual meeting, Anatomy Connected. Over $60,000 is awarded to eligible student and postdoc members who submit abstracts by December 15. Travel awards of $350 are available for the first 150 applicants, and early career members can apply for up to $1,000. Competition awards feature prizes up to $500, promoting excellence in research presentation.

The Early-Career Anatomist Publication Award, presented by the American Association for Anatomy, honors exceptional publications by early-career anatomists in three prestigious journals. Assistance may be awarded as secured loans, forgivable loans, or grants, with a focus on enhancing housing opportunities for both owner-occupied and rental housing. The grant aims to promote stability and education in housing for very low-income households.

The Georgia Public Service Memorial (GPSM) Grant offers financial support for the education of spouses and children of Georgia public safety officers and school employees who have been disabled or killed in the line of duty. This grant can cover costs up to $18,000 annually, with a lifetime maximum of $72,000. Eligible applicants must have been residents of Georgia for at least 12 months and comply with various academic and legal requirements.

The Henry Gray Scientific Achievement Award, presented by the American Association for Anatomy, honors outstanding contributions to anatomical sciences by AAA members. Nominees must be full-time or emeritus faculty at accredited institutions and active AAA members. The award includes a $2,000 funding for travel to the AAA Annual Meeting.
