It encourages applicants with a positive community reputation and excludes for-profit entities. With a focus on grassroots efforts, this grant is a pivotal resource for those aiming to advance vegan advocacy and sustainable food practices.

The Thrive Grant supports initiatives aimed at establishing equitable, plant-based food systems by decreasing animal consumption and promoting vegan advocacy. Targeting mid-size to larger organizations with proven success, the grant encourages proposals that align with Thrive Philanthropy's mission. Eligible applicants should demonstrate a strong community reputation and are expected to operate outside the U.S. Notably, the grant excludes for-profit entities and projects that exploit animals.

Texas State Library and Archives Commission

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission has been serving the people of Texas for more than a century. Since 1909, when the state founded the agency, we have been supporting the reading, learning, and historical preservation needs of Texas and its people. 

Going back to the days of the Republic, there has always been an official library and archives of Texas. While fulfilling our unique and longstanding place serving Texas government, the State Library and Archives Commission mission is also to ensure that citizens have information they need to lead informed, productive, and fulfilled lives.

TexTreasures Grant

TexTreasures Grants are designed to help libraries make their special collections more accessible for the people of Texas and beyond. Activities considered for possible funding include: 

• digitization
• microfilming
• cataloging

There are two options for funding under the TexTreasures program:

• TexTreasures Basic which will award grants of up to $10,000 to small libraries (serving a population of up to 25,000) with little or no experience with digitization. Funding will support vendor contract services to increase access to collections with local or regional significance. 
• TexTreasures Original which will continue to support libraries seeking to provide access to special or unique collections of statewide interest and greater complexity. The maximum award is $40,000 for applications from single institutions and $50,000 for collaborative grant projects.

The MetroWest Fund for Arts & Culture Grant Program supports arts and cultural initiatives that enhance community engagement and diversity appreciation. By providing equitable access to artistic expression, it strengthens the local economy and cultural heritage. The Foundation for MetroWest awards discretionary grants to eligible organizations, ensuring that the benefits of art and culture reach all residents of the MetroWest region. This initiative fosters creativity and community building, making MetroWest a vibrant place to live.

The ArtsFund Community Accelerator Grant, funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, provides unrestricted grants ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 to cultural nonprofit organizations in Washington state. In its third year, the program aims to support arts and culture by offering essential capital to organizations meeting eligibility requirements, including a minimum three-year existence and a primary mission centered on arts activities. This investment is crucial for enhancing the capacity of cultural organizations to serve their communities.

The Ann Arbor Farm & Garden Grants, supported by the Women's National Farm and Garden Association, aim to promote local gardens and environmental stewardship through financial support for nonprofits in Washtenaw County. Eligible applicants must align with the mission of AAF&G, provide volunteers for community events, and present their projects. This initiative fosters community engagement, educational opportunities, and enhances the beauty of local spaces, contributing to a strong network of environmental advocates.

The South-Central Section of the Geological Society of America provides competitive research grants for undergraduate students from institutions in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and parts of Mexico. Eligible students must be members of the Geological Society of America and are expected to manage funds responsibly, submitting a report after their research. This initiative supports the development of future geoscientists by fostering research opportunities in the region.

The Recreation Passport Grants (MI) program provides financial support for local units to develop and renovate public recreation facilities. The initiative focuses on upgrading older facilities that are no longer functional, requiring a minimum of 25% matching funds from applicants. Grants range from $7,500 to $150,000, facilitating significant enhancements to community recreation options.

The Ashtabula Foundation offers grants of $5,001 and above to support non-profit organizations serving Ashtabula County. The foundation prioritizes funding in the Human Services category to assist those in need within the community. Eligible applicants must have a 501(C)(3) designation and utilize funds exclusively for the benefit of local citizens. The foundation will consider requests based on available funding and the potential impact on recipients.

The Libraries Transform Communities Engagement Grant, provided by the American Library Association, aims to support innovative community engagement projects in libraries. This annual grant awards $2,000 to two selected libraries, focusing on themes of community empowerment. Eligible applicants include various library types in the U.S. and U.S. territories, and projects must demonstrate community collaboration and creativity. The Team 1 Plastics Corporate Donor Advised Fund, managed by the Albion Community Foundation, offers grants up to $1,000 to support educational initiatives benefiting the greater Albion area. The Community Foundation of Cedar County Grant supports local non-profit organizations to enhance community quality of life. Established in 2005, it has awarded over $1 million to address various needs. This grant prioritizes 501(c)(3) organizations or governmental agencies and follows a diversity and non-discrimination policy. Only one project per organization is accepted each cycle, ensuring focused funding for impactful initiatives. The foundation’s efforts are driven by a dedicated board and staff committed to fostering generosity in the Quad Cities area.

The CBT Community Development Program empowers Basin residents to tackle community challenges and seize opportunities for growth. Established in 1995, this initiative fosters social, economic, and environmental well-being through collaborative efforts. Non-profits, municipalities, and First Nations are eligible to apply, with a focus on projects that demonstrate community impact and fundraising efforts. The program prioritizes strategic and capital projects that enhance community assets, ensuring a sustainable future for the Basin.

The Graduate Research Excellence Travel Award, offered by the American Physical Society (APS), supports graduate students who have shown significant academic progress. This award provides up to $500 for domestic students and $1,000 for international students to cover travel expenses related to the Global Physics Summit. Eligible applicants must be APS and FGSA members, presenting at the summit, and can use the funds for registration, airfare, lodging, and other related costs.

The Green Chemistry Student Chapter Award recognizes ACS student chapters for their commitment to green chemistry initiatives. This award highlights the importance of green chemistry in education, encouraging students to engage in activities that promote sustainability. Eligible chapters must submit detailed summaries of at least three green chemistry projects, demonstrating their understanding of the principles and practices that contribute to a more sustainable future.

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education invites public school districts to apply for Special Support Earmarks, providing approximately $1.384 million in funding as outlined in the FY26 state budget. This initiative aims to enhance educational resources and support for nearly 1 million students across the Commonwealth. Eligible districts can leverage this funding for various earmarked projects, ensuring accountability and effective use of state resources.

The smART Ventures grant is a Seattle-based program offering flexible funding between $500 and $1,500 for innovative arts and culture projects. It aims to support underserved communities, encourage public engagement, and foster creativity. Applications are reviewed monthly with no set deadline. Eligible applicants include individuals, groups, and organizations based in Seattle, focusing on projects that create community impact and expand access to cultural opportunities. Priority is given to those representing underserved populations.

California Energy Commission

As the state’s primary energy policy and planning agency, the California Energy Commission (CEC) plays a critical role in creating the energy system of the future—one that is clean, modern, and ensures the fifth largest economy in the world continues to thrive. Combating climate change is fundamental to maintaining California’s future. The agency’s research, programs and policies remain crucial today as the state plans for 100% clean energy and carbon neutrality by mid-century. CEC is helping create the energy system of California’s future through activities such as Planning and Policy Development, Renewable Energy Growth; Energy Efficiency; Energy Innovation; Cleaner Transportation; and Responsible Electricity Infrastructure.

GFO-25-608 - Electric Vehicle Hub, Outreach, Messaging, and Equipment (EV HOME)

Purpose

This is a competitive grant solicitation. The California Energy Commission’s (CEC’s) Clean Transportation Program announces the availability of up to $10 million in grant funding for projects that will accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption by connecting prospective drivers with incentives for EVs and residential charging equipment, facilitating home charger installations, and providing education and outreach on EV benefits, charging options, and available incentives. Additional funding of up to $10 million may be made available in the future to support a second phase of work for projects initially awarded under this solicitation.

The Surface Creek Community Fund (SCCF), established in partnership with the Western Colorado Community Foundation, aims to enhance the quality of life in Austin, Cedaredge, Cory, Eckert, and Orchard City. This fund supports local nonprofit organizations and community projects through an annual competitive grants process. Since its inception in 2019, SCCF has allocated $59,325 in grants, fostering community improvement and encouraging donations from local benefactors committed to making a positive impact.

The Alfred P. Sloan Economics Grant Program aims to provide essential public goods through innovative research that enhances U.S. economic progress. With a focus on equity and technological advancement, the program supports projects addressing pressing economic issues, such as competitiveness, regional development, and the economics of caregiving. By fostering rigorous, unbiased research, the foundation seeks to empower communities and inform policy, ultimately improving quality of life across the nation.

The Arts Grant Program, funded by the Mary Duke Biddle Foundation, aims to support arts nonprofits and educational organizations in North Carolina's Triangle region. This program offers one-year grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to eligible organizations that have not received funding in the past five years. The initiative emphasizes the importance of arts in community building, cultural preservation, and personal enrichment, fostering a vibrant and inclusive cultural landscape.

The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research's Visiting Scholar Awards aim to enhance capacity building in underdeveloped Antarctic research programs. Open to scientists and academics with over five years post-PhD experience, the awards support short-term visits (1-4 weeks) to SCAR member countries for training and mentoring. Awards cover international flights and living expenses, promoting long-term research partnerships while considering virtual applications amidst unforeseen circumstances.

American Physical Society

The American Physical Society is a nonprofit membership organization working to advance physics by fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and global community dedicated to science and society. APS represents more than 50,000 members, including physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and around the world.

Guided by our core values, APS Honors encourages nominations that reflect the full range of talent, distinction, and experience in our field, and supports broad canvassing for professional achievement across diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and expertise.

Norman F. Ramsey Prize in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, and in Precision Tests of Fundamental Laws and Symmetries

The Norman F. Ramsey Prize in Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, and in Precision Tests of Fundamental Laws and Symmetries recognizes outstanding accomplishments in the two fields of Norman Ramsey: atomic, molecular, and optical physics; and precision tests of fundamental laws and symmetries. The Prize consists of a $10,000 check, a certificate citing accomplishments, and travel support for the recipient to attend the DAMOP annual meeting at which the prize is presented.

Nominations will be considered for three review cycles provided the nominator re-certifies the nomination before the next deadline. 

The Back to Better Resilience Grants provide $3,000 to artists and creative entrepreneurs in Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, or Huntingdon County, who experienced significant income disruption due to the pandemic. Eligible applicants must have primarily earned their income from their artistic practice in 2019 and be active in their creative field. This initiative, funded by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, aims to support the recovery of the arts community.

The San Juan Community Fund (SCCF) is a charitable initiative that supports local nonprofits and community projects in San Juan County. Established in 2018, it has distributed $81,000 in grants, fostering community improvement through a competitive application process. Funded by generous local donors, SCCF aims to create a lasting positive impact, ensuring support for vital projects in the community for generations to come.
