MassWorks provides grants to communities to help them prepare for success and contribute to the long term strength and sustainability of our Commonwealth.
The MassWorks Infrastructure Program is a competitive grant program that provides the largest and most flexible source of capital funds to municipalities and other eligible public entities primarily for public infrastructure projects that support and accelerate housing production, spur private development, and create jobs throughout the Commonwealth.

Infrastructure Construction Grants
Grant Use
Direct Construction: Earthwork and/or site work, for example, demolition, sidewalk and road construction, utility relocation, traffic signals, water/sewer extensions, bridge/culvert repairs, contingency (up to 10%), construction administration, traffic control, public safety details, and final design (up to 10%) etc.
Brookline Education Foundation
The Brookline Education Foundation (BEF) is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support excellence and innovation in the Public Schools of Brookline (PSB). Through its programs, the BEF enriches the professional growth of educators by recognizing and supporting them as they identify and pursue opportunities that will have the greatest impact on their practice, the lives of their students, and on their school communities.
To facilitate this work, the BEF sponsors three categories of grants for which eligible Brookline educators may apply: Educator (formerly called Teacher), Collaborative, and Idea Lab grants.
Educator Grants
BEF Educator Grants are awarded to individual and small groups of teachers or administrators on the basis of short written proposals. Educator grants award up to $3,500 for each individual and typically fund professional development or renewal activities. They are not intended to provide curricular materials or fund classroom programs that the school department and PTOs support.

Option 2: 0436 Innovation Carrer Pathways Planning Grant
The purpose of this competitive grant is to provide Innovation Career Pathway program resources to an Local Educational Agency who intends to seek Innovation Career Pathway designation from Department of Elementary and Secondary EducationDESE in school year 2026–2027.

Approximately $450,000 An Local Educational Agency LEA may submit only one application for a maximum award of $15,000 to prepare Innovation Career Pathways Designation applications. This Request for Proposal is the governing document for these grant funds. Funding is contingent upon availability. All dollar amounts listed are estimated/approximate and are subject to change. If more funding becomes available it will be distributed under the same guidelines that appear in this Request for Proposal.
Fund Use
Funds may be used for costs associated with out-of-school time training and meeting time for team members to create the scope and sequence and implementation plan. Allowable uses include, but are not limited to, the following:
Funds must be used in alignment with the purpose and priorities outlined and as described in a budget, budget narrative, and required program information that is submitted to the Department's Office of College, Career and Technical Education (CCTE).
DESE Competitive Grant Submission Policy
Competitive grant applications are considered submitted when the grant application is submitted by the Superintendent or their designee through the "Local Educational Agency Superintendent / Chief Executive Approved" step in Grants for Education Management System. In order to be considered for competitive funding, applicants must submit a grant application through the Local Educational Agency Superintendent Approved stage by the due date and time listed in the Request for Proposal.

The purpose of this competitive grant is to provide designated Innovation Career Pathways with resources to support program implementation.

This Request for ProposalRFP is the governing document for these grant funds. Schools that were approved for their first Innovation Career Pathways program in Spring 2026 for implementation in School Year 26-27 are eligible for up to $75,000. All other schools with Innovation Career Pathways, designated between 2022 and 2026, are eligible for up to $50,000.
Funding is contingent upon availability. All dollar amounts listed are estimated/approximate and are subject to change. If more funding becomes available it will be distributed under the same guidelines that appear in this Request for Proposal.

Infrastructure Pre-Development Grants
Pre-Development applications are intended to benefit the pre-development costs (design and engineering costs) of public infrastructure costs and make it feasible for municipalities and other units of local government to secure funding the execution of design documents related to publicly owned and operated infrastructure. Pre-development grants are not available to subsidize the pre-development soft costs of private developments associated with the applications.

Regional Economic Development Organization (REDO) Grant Program
The Regional Economic Development Organization (REDO) Program is established and guided by Sections 3J and 3K of M.G.L. Chapter 23A to support regionally based efforts to grow and retain existing businesses and attract new business to the Commonwealth.
EOED is now accepting proposals from eligible organizations as defined in M.G.L. Chapter 23A, Section 3K for projects that aim to work in close partnership with MOBD Regional Directors to support businesses in Massachusetts, aligning with the state's Economic Development Plan, and to advance regionally based efforts to nurture and facilitate economic growth and prosperity. Applicants should include ways their organization improves equity, affordability, and competitiveness in their regions.
Program Purpose
Per M.G.L. Chapter 23A, Section 3J, the purpose of the program is “…to support regionally based efforts to stimulate, encourage, facilitate and nurture economic growth and prosperity in the commonwealth including, but not limited to, the identification of regional competitive strengths, challenges and opportunities, regional cluster development strategies, long-range regional workforce skills, pipeline, transportation and land use planning and other systems-based activities related to the growth and retention of existing businesses and the attraction of new businesses into the commonwealth.

MassDEP Commercial Refrigeration Grant
This program provides financial incentives for retail food businesses, food banks, and nonprofit organizations to install more climate-friendly commercial refrigeration equipment.
Through its Commercial Refrigeration Grant Program, MassDEP is providing financial incentives for voluntary adoption of more climate-friendly, low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants in commercial refrigeration equipment across the state.
MassDEP will pay your grant funds on a reimbursement basis after you submit invoices and required documentation.
Eligible Projects
Program funding to support projects for ultra-low-GWP systems is available for new or existing retail food locations, food banks, and nonprofit institutions in Massachusetts that plan to install refrigeration systems that contain ultra-low-GWP (<10) refrigerants. Eligible costs for ultra-low-GWP systems include the cost of the refrigeration equipment and its installation.

Regions Matching Gifts for Recent Retirees
Retirees of Regions and its affiliated companies are eligible for the Matching Gift Program for up to 5 years after retirement (the gift date must be within the first 5 years of retirement). Regions will match donations of $25 or more, up to a total of $1,000 per year per retiree.

MASS Timber Assembly RFP
MASS Timber Assembly is a 12-month cohort program for Massachusetts building project teams pursuing mass timber construction.
