The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health (“Department”) is seeking responses to this Request for Proposals ("Solicitation" or "RFP") from qualified Vendors to provide comprehensive chronic disease and rural health program support, including coordination of projects and partner activities, development and delivery of educational trainings, implementation of evidence-based strategies, evaluation support, and communication activities that promote the prevention and management of chronic disease including asthma, cancer, diabetes, prediabetes, hypertension, and arthritis.

The NHSCA Art in Health Project Grants support initiatives that use the arts to enhance health and healing in underserved communities in New Hampshire. With two distinct tracks, the Health & Healing Track focuses on non-clinical arts engagement for individual healing, while the Public Health Track aims to address public health needs through collaborative arts activities. Research for Novel Approaches in Sustainable Agriculture Grant Program

The Northeast SARE Research for Novel Approaches grant program funds ‘proof of concept’ applied research projects that are designed to confirm the benefits and/or feasibility of new practices and approaches—i.e., Novel Approaches—in agriculture.

These applied research projects must have some existing evidence from previous experiments or pilot projects (your own or others) suggesting that the practice or approach is beneficial and feasible, but further testing, data, and refinement are needed before it can be recommended for widespread adoption by farmers.

Research for Novel Approaches Grant projects require an explicit connection to the needs and interests of farmers in the Northeast. All proposals must include documented interest among farmers and service providers in utilizing or promoting the novel approach should it be proven beneficial and feasible.

Funding Available

Novel Approaches grants have a minimum award of $30,000 and a cap of $250,000.

The Dobles Foundation Grant aims to support childcare initiatives and enhance the needs of children in New Hampshire from 2025 to 2027. With a focus on promoting childcare options for working parents, the foundation encourages proposals that foster educational support for childcare providers, and innovative before and after school programs. Grants may reach up to $25,000, with consideration for multi-year requests in exceptional cases, making this an essential funding opportunity for local charitable organizations.

The Career and Technical Education Transportation Incentive Grants, funded by the New Hampshire Department of Education, aim to support the transportation of students between high school regional CTE programs and receiving CTE programs. With an appropriation of $4 million for the biennium, the program will award grants competitively, based on specific criteria. Waste Reduction and Diversion Grant Program

A Waste Reduction and Diversion Grant program was established in RSA 149-R:4, III as part of the Solid Waste Management Fund. The Solid Waste Management Bureau now has rules in place to set requirements for a new program. As required by the law, the program provides matching grant funding to New Hampshire political subdivisions (such as municipalities or solid waste districts), private entities (such as nonprofit organizations), and businesses to support their efforts to improve solid waste reduction and diversion activities. Projects will need to demonstrate a significant improvement in waste diversion methods and contribute to a reduction of solid waste requiring disposal.

The Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) Competitive Grants focus on underutilization of crop insurance projects to enhance agricultural producers' economic viability. This initiative, backed by the Northeast ERME Center and others, provides funding to deliver education in various risk management areas. Grants up to $100,000 are available for projects running from April 2026 to September 2027, with plans to support 7-10 new projects based on quality applications and funding availability.

The Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) Competitive Grants: Exploratory Projects aim to enhance agricultural producers' economic viability through innovative risk management education. Funded by the University of Delaware, these grants offer up to $10,000 for projects that address emerging risk topics or support producer workshops. With an 18-month duration from April 2026 to September 2027, this initiative encourages the development of new educational approaches to better serve the needs of farmers and ranchers.

The Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) Competitive Grants program aims to enhance the economic viability of agricultural producers through targeted risk management education. Funded by the University of Delaware, this initiative offers grants of up to $75,000 for projects addressing production, marketing, financial, legal, or human risks. The grants are expected to support 12-15 new projects over an 18-month duration, from April 2026 to September 2027, subject to funding availability and application quality.

The TD Charitable Foundation's Capacity Building Fund empowers nonprofit organizations by providing grants aimed at enhancing their operational capabilities. Division for Behavioral Health

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division for Behavioral Health (“Department”) is seeking responses to this Request for Proposals ("Solicitation" or "RFP") from qualified Vendors to increase awareness of and access to recovery supports and services for students with alcohol and drug use problems and/or who are sober-curious and creates a supportive campus environment that fosters wellness, connection, and long-term success.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation offers Responsive Grants to nonprofits in New Hampshire and select areas in Maine and Vermont. Grants of up to $10,000 can support operating expenses or specific initiatives addressing community needs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with decisions communicated within 15–20 business days. This program encourages timely support for organizations aiming to improve community welfare and is designed for streamlined access to funding as needs arise.

State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) Grant

The New Hampshire Office of International Commerce (OIC) administers the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP), which provides direct funding to eligible small businesses to defray costs of exporting. Small businesses can apply for a grant up to $8,000, which will reimburse 80 percent of the costs of these activities that aid in accessing international markets.

The funding is flexible and can be used for activities including attending an international trade show, designing marketing materials, conducting market research, getting products certified to ISO or other standards, and more.

New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs-Office of International Commerce, have developed programming for New Hampshire small businesses to maximize the STEP award. 

Friends of NRA

Friends of NRA is the National Rifle Association’s premier fundraising program, supporting the future of shooting sports. Since day one, Friends of NRA has been a 100% grassroots effort fueled by a united front to secure the Second Amendment and raise money for the shooting sports.

Committee volunteers are appointed to State Fund Committees to make recommendations for local grant funding in areas such as youth education, women-focused clinics, law enforcement training, hunter safety, range improvement, firearms and marksmanship training and safety. Recognizing the impact American youth has on the future of the shooting sports, State Fund Committees frequently recommend grants for youth programs, allocating the most significant portion of monies to this vital area.

Grant awards fund activities and support programs in the United States to promote firearms and hunting safety, to enhance marksmanship skills of those in the shooting sports, and to educate the public about firearms in their historic, technological and artistic context.

Friends of NRA State Fund Grant Program - New Hampshire

The Friends of NRA State Fund Grant Program provides supplies, equipment, and financial support to a variety of qualified groups and programs at the local level; geared towards youth, women, law enforcement, veterans, the disabled, and the general public, including:

• General shooting programs
• Competitive shooting
• Education, training and safety
• Hunting and conservation
• Community outreach
• Historical education

Grant funding must be used to further a charitable purpose as defined by the Internal Revenue Code under section 501(c)(3) and accompanying rules, regulations, and other IRS law and materials.

John Estrella Foundation: Helping Hand GrantThe John Estrella Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in memory of John Estrella.

Our funding supports a clinical protocol to acquire tumor samples from kidney cancer patients who have a kidney removed. These important samples are being used to identify factors that help predict which patients are likely to require additional therapy for their disease. With our continued funding, this protocol has been expanded to other major hospitals in the area, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Purpose of the Grant: In addition to the ever-mounting cost of medicines and treatment, people with Kidney Cancer often need assistance with expenses like transportation, living expenses, home care, and childcare. The purpose of our grant is to provide support to individuals and their families experiencing financial burdens associated with a diagnosis of and treatment for Kidney Cancer.

The California Casualty Music & Arts Grant supports K-12 public schools facing budget cuts that threaten their music and arts programs. Eligible applicants, who must be active employees of public K-12 schools and members of specified educator associations, can request grants of $250 for music or arts needs. This initiative aims to enhance creative education across the states, excluding AK, HI, MA, MI, NY, and WI. Applications received by July 15 will be notified by November 30.

The National Coastal Resilience Fund (NCRF) aims to protect coastal communities through nature-based solutions, enhancing habitats while addressing the growing threats of climate change. Established in 2018, the fund focuses on restoring vital ecosystems like marshes and reefs to mitigate flooding impacts. With rising sea levels and increasing storm intensity, NCRF invests in community-led projects that foster resilience, ensuring both people and wildlife can adapt to changing environmental conditions.
