P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) Competitive Grant – State Fiscal Year 2026

The Minnesota Department of Education makes this funding available to public school districts and charter schools for the purpose of providing start-up and ongoing support of P-TECH schools, established as a public-private partnership, that will prepare students for high skills jobs of the future in identified growth industries.

The P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) model integrates high school, college, and industry through partnerships among school districts, community colleges, and employers. With a focus on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields, it combines rigorous academics, workplace learning, mentoring, and internships. Students receive individualized support to accelerate progress toward both a high school diploma and an associate’s degree.

The model’s intended outcomes include preparing students with industry-recognized credentials and authentic workplace learning opportunities. While employment is not guaranteed, graduates are prioritized for opportunities with partner employers. P-TECH also broadens access to high-quality STEM education and lowers academic and financial barriers by aligning secondary and postsecondary pathways.

LSTA Literacy Grant FFY 2026 – State Fiscal Year 2027

Grant purpose

The Minnesota Department of Education makes this funding available to libraries as defined per Minnesota Statutes 2025, section 134.001, subdivision 2 for the purpose of helping to achieve Minnesota’s LSTA Five-Year Plan (2023-2027), Goals A, B, and C, to reduce barriers to access, promote equity, showcase libraries’ contributions to community, and empower Minnesota’s library workforce. Successful grant proposals will connect proposed project activities to improving access to services and information in areas of literacy.

While LSTA funds are primarily intended to support new projects that can serve as models or pilots, applications for new phases of a project that is underway may be submitted. Libraries may also apply for funding of an ongoing project if it reaches new audiences, incorporates new methods or significantly expands the reach of the project.

RFP: Provide Consultation Services for the Community First Services and Supports Program

The Minnesota Department of Human Services, through its Disability Services Division (STATE), is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders to provide Consultation Services for the Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) program. The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be for up to five (5) years. 

The STATE is responsible for administering long-term services and support for people with disabilities and older adults under publicly funded programs. The STATE’s mission is to help people meet their basic needs so they can live in dignity and achieve their highest potential. Currently, such services and support are being administered through Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant programs.  

The PCA program supports people who need help with day-to-day activities by providing personal care assistants to help with activities of daily living, behavior issues or other health related tasks. Such services are available to people with physical disabilities, chronic health conditions, behavioral diagnoses, and mental health illnesses, and allows these individuals to be more independent in their home, place of employment and community. PCA services under Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) are delivered through approximately 600 MHCP enrolled providers. 

RFP: Provide Children’s Mental Health Evidence-Based Practice Workforce Development and Implementation Support

The Minnesota Department of Human Services, through its Behavioral Health Administration (STATE), is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders to provide training, consultation, and implementation support related to a modular, evidence-informed treatment system (such as the Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) system) or a demonstrably equivalent model for children’s mental health providers across Minnesota. Responders proposing a model other than MAP must clearly demonstrate how their approach is substantially equivalent in structure, function, and outcomes, including incorporation of modular practice elements, dashboards, database, clinical decision-support tools, and measurement based care, and must include published evidence or demonstrated implementation outcomes supporting effectiveness in children’s mental health. The selected responder will support mental health providers and treatment supervisors in developing skills to deliver evidence-based interventions for children and youth experiencing mental health conditions. Activities will focus on workforce development, implementation support, and quality improvement to increase the use of evidence-based mental health practices statewide. For purposes of this RFP, “Mental Health Providers (MHPs)” refers to Mental Health Professionals and Clinical Trainees as defined in Minnesota Statutes, 245I.04, subd. 2 (Mental Health Professional) and subd. 6 (Clinical Trainee). “Supervisor” refers to Treatment Supervision as defined in Minnesota Statutes, 245I.06. The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be for two (2) years, from July 1, 2026 until June 30, 2028. The STATE may extend the contract up to a total of five (5) years. 

The Goodridge Brothers Scholarship, offered by the Saginaw Community Foundation, supports residents of Saginaw County pursuing careers in technical education, such as welding or auto mechanics. This initiative recognizes the growing demand for skilled tradespeople and aims to alleviate financial barriers for students. Scholarships typically range from $500 to $4,000, promoting educational opportunities in urban and regional planning and enhancing the community's workforce capabilities.

The Ken and Eileen Gross Memorial Scholarship, established by friends of the couple, supports Saginaw County high school seniors pursuing a teaching degree. With a focus on fostering education, this scholarship honors Ken, a dedicated educator, and Eileen, a successful property manager. Eligible students must demonstrate a minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need, ensuring that those committed to teaching can pursue their aspirations. Awards typically range from $500 to $4,000, empowering the next generation of educators.

MN Public Works Grant

Public Works grants support local and Tribal governments with infrastructure funding that provides essential services and promotes economic development.

• Funded at $9,000,000 for Fiscal Year 2026 from the Taconite Environmental Protection Fund.
• The number of grants awarded is variable and dependent upon the amounts awarded to successful applicants.
• 1:1 match per project required.
  • Match requirements may be reduced for publicly-owned projects located in a city or within five miles of a city with an active mine pit or one idled within two years of the application date. Reductions will be considered if financial need is demonstrated and formal preapproval is obtained prior to submitting a full application.
• In-kind materials and/or labor are not eligible towards the project match.
• Architectural and engineering fees in excess of 10% of the total project costs are ineligible for reimbursement.
• No applicant is eligible for more than $1.5 Million for this program per fiscal year. Once that amount is reached additional grant applications for this program will not be eligible.
• Maximum grant amount of $145,000 for grants supporting privately owned buildings or infrastructure.
• Applications should be submitted within nine months of the project construction start date

MN Public Works - Broadband Infrastructure Grant

Broadband Infrastructure grants assist projects that help households and businesses reach the State of Minnesota broadband speed goal.

• The number of grants awarded is variable and dependent upon the amounts awarded to successful

• Architectural and engineering fees in excess of 10% of the total project costs are ineligible for reimbursement.

MN Nonprofit security grant program (NSGP)

The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding for physical security enhancements and other security-related activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist or other extremist attack. The NSGP also seeks to integrate the preparedness activities of nonprofit organizations with broader state and local preparedness efforts.

• Organizations within the Twin Cities Urban Area are applying on a competitive basis with organizations from designated urban areas nationwide
• The Target Allocation assigned to Minnesota for statewide/outstate funding is $2,400,000
• Organizations outside of the urban area are designated to apply for the target allocation funding

MN Mineland Reclamation Grants

Mineland Reclamation grants assist with highly visible development and restoration of mining-impacted land. 

Funding Availability

• Funded at $350,000 for Fiscal Year 2026 from the Taconite Environmental Protection Fund.
• The number of grants awarded is variable and dependent upon the amount awarded to successful applicants.
• 1:1 match per project required.
• In-kind may be eligible toward the project match with pre-approval.
• Applications should be submitted within nine months of the project start date.

Projects that reclaim or repurpose former mining-impacted lands not otherwise provided by state law or that sustain current and future mining. Examples include stockpile reclamation and vegetative enhancements, master planning, recreational and mine pit development and improvements.

MN Housing Grants

Housing grants assist projects or programs that result in the creation of new housing units or the rehabilitation of existing housing units. The program will support housing solutions that align with local priorities and regional employer’s needs.

Examples include, but are not limited to, infrastructure, site work, new construction, rehabilitation of existing housing stock, repurposing existing structures for residential use, housing trust funds, and other projects or programming that positively impact the value or number of housing units. Projects or programs are subject to prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements. 

Funding Availability

• Funded at $6,000,000 for Fiscal Year 2026 from the Douglas J. Johnson Corpus Fund.
• The number of grants awarded is variable and dependent upon the amounts awarded to successful applicants.
• 1:1 match per project required.
  • Match requirements may be reduced for publicly-owned projects in a city or within five miles of a city with an active mine pit or one idled within two years of the application date. Reductions will be considered if financial need is demonstrated and formal preapproval is obtained prior to submitting a full application.
  • Match can include, but is not limited to: cash contributions, land contribution, in-kind, and other approved funds. Future income is not considered a match.
    • In-kind may be eligible toward project match with preapproval.
• Applications should be submitted nine months prior to the project construction start date.

MN Drilling Incentive Grants (DIG)

Drilling Incentive grants (DIG) are designed to stimulate exploration for new minerals, gas resources and/or new deposits of these resources. The data and information acquired during the drilling and analyses phases will eventually become housed at the state's Drill Core Library for future analysis.  

Funding Availability

• Funded at $100,000 for Fiscal Year 2026 from the Taconite Environmental Protection Fund.
• The agency will match up to 40% of direct drilling costs not to exceed $20,000 per drill hole.
• Funding can only be used for exploratory drilling.
• Project must begin within 12 months of a grant award.
• Multi-organization collaboration is welcomed

MN Residential Redevelopment Grants

Residential Redevelopment grants assist with demolishing residential structures or full deconstruction of homes for reuse of materials. Projects must eliminate blight, improve property maintenance, promote health and safety, reduce waste or encourage economic development. 

Funding Availability

• Funded at $225,000 for Fiscal Year 2026 from the Taconite Environmental Protection Fund.
• The number of grants awarded is variable and dependent upon the amounts awarded to successful applicants.
• A maximum of $4 per building square foot, or 75% of demolition costs including basements, whichever is less.
• A maximum of up to $5,000 for deconstruction.
• Multi-organization collaboration is welcomed.

MN Commercial Redevelopment Grants 

Commercial Redevelopment grants assist with the full and selective demolition of commercial and industrial buildings and the clean-up of brownfields to pave the way for new development.

Regenerative Medicine Minnesota

The mission of Regenerative Medicine Minnesota (RMM) is to bring breakthrough regenerative medicine therapies to Minnesotans and patients worldwide. Achieving this vision requires not only advancing novel therapies, but also the innovations, capabilities, collaborations and pathways that enable them to ultimately reach patients. Recognizing the need for a multi-pronged innovation strategy, RMM is calling for proposals that align with this vision through the 2027 Request for Proposals (RFP). By strategically investing across these areas, RMM aims to accelerate transformative regenerative medicine therapies, strengthen Minnesota's leadership in regenerative medicine and generate lasting health and economic benefits for Minnesotans.   

Regenerative Medicine Minnesota (RMM) RFP

This RFP is designed to solicit projects that are aligned with one or more of the following objectives:

• Advance novel regenerative medicine therapies and products towards clinical application. Proposed therapies or products should have a clearly defined target use, indication or disease area.
• Develop enabling innovations and platforms that improve the ability to discover, develop, manufacture, or deliver regenerative medicine therapies across multiple applications.
• Build sustainable capabilities and infrastructure that accelerate clinical translation and commercialization in Minnesota.
• Foster collaborations across institutions and sectors that strengthen Minnesota’s regenerative medicine ecosystem.
• Expand patient access to regenerative medicine therapies to benefit patients across Minnesota, including greater Minnesota.

Particular areas of interest for funding under this RFP include, but are not limited to:

• Platform-based approaches that can be applied to many diseases, particularly rare diseases, such as gene editing/replacement strategies, therapeutic approaches, delivery methods, manufacturing models, regulatory strategies, clinical trial designs, etc.
• Device-enabled regenerative medicine innovations such as biologic/cell-device combination therapeutics, biomanufacturing devices or tools, therapeutic delivery, etc.
• Strategies to improve immune compatibility and therapeutic durability, including promoting immune tolerance or reducing immune rejection.

Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT)

Safe Routes to School Infrastructure (SRTS) Program Grant Solicitation

The Minnesota Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Infrastructure Program was established by the Minnesota Legislature in 2012 and is defined in Minnesota Statute 174.40. MnDOT State Aid for Local Transportation (SALT) and the Office of Transit and Active Transportation (OTAT) share responsibilities for the administration and oversight of the SRTS program. SALT administers the SRTS infrastructure funds on local roads (county, city, township, and Tribal owned roadways), and OTAT administers the non-infrastructure SRTS funds. Up to $8,500,000.00 in grant funds are available for this 2024 SRTS infrastructure solicitation.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) State Aid for Local Transportation (SALT) administers the state SRTS infrastructure program with guidance from the Infrastructure Work Group (IWG) of the Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC). The process, criteria, and prioritization for the solicitation are required by statute to establish a geographic equity-based project evaluation and selection process that is competitive, criteria-based, and objective. Projects are selected and approved by the Infrastructure Work Group of the Active Transportation Advisory Committee to provide financial assistance to eligible recipients to construct capital improvement of transportation infrastructure that improves safety and encourages non-motorized transportation to and from schools.

William L. & Mary Ann Brown STEM Endowment Scholarship Program

The William L. & Mary Ann Brown STEM Endowed Scholarship Program was established by William L. and Mary Ann Brown to provide need-based scholarship support to seniors graduating from a high school in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, enrolled at a UNCF member institution, four-year HBCUs, and four-year institutions.

Successful applicants must be graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college, pursuing a STEM degree, including, but not limited to, fields in physical sciences, mathematics, the biological sciences, the chemical sciences, computer sciences, and engineering. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student.

Improving Metastatic Prostate Cancer (mPCa) Care Through Innovative Strategies

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® and Pfizer Global Medical Grants (Pfizer) are collaborating to offer a new grant opportunity seeking proposals for investigator-initiated research to improve mPCa care. Pfizer (hereafter, “Grantor”) is providing $1 Million in funding to support quality improvement studies to advance health care quality, the delivery of quality care, and improve health care provider performance in mPCa care. The Grantor will serve as the funding organization. Grants are available to all investigators from institutions within the United States. 

Aim

To promote the advancement of scientific knowledge, health care provider performance, and/or health care quality improvement focused on improving mPCa care.

A total of $1 Million is available to fund all projects. The intent is to fund 2-5 studies. There is a funding cap of $250,000 per study. Exceptional studies with budgets above this amount will be considered based on scientific merit and must contain a robust justification. All budgets must include line-item information and robust justification.

The Small Business Transition Grant for New Entrepreneurs, funded by the NIH, aims to support early-career scientists as they transition into entrepreneurship. This program invites eligible small business concerns to apply for STTR Phase I and Fast-Track grant applications, which include funding for research and development, as well as essential entrepreneurial training and mentorship. It is designed for first-time Principal Investigators, emphasizing the importance of industry mentorship in project development.

The FY26 Autism Research Program's Idea Development Award from the US DOD aims to support groundbreaking research that improves outcomes for Autistic individuals. This award encourages innovative, high-risk projects that can lead to significant advancements in autism research. Applications must address specific areas of interest or justify the importance of the research problem. A unique Partnering Principal Investigator option allows two researchers to collaborate on a single project, enhancing the potential for impactful discoveries.

The FY26 Autism Research Program Clinical Trial Award aims to rapidly implement clinical trials that significantly impact autism treatment and management. Projects may range from small proof-of-concept trials to large-scale studies assessing efficacy in relevant populations. Applications are encouraged to partner experienced and early-career investigators and must include community collaborations to enhance research impact. At least one community partner is required to provide ongoing consultation throughout the project.

The FY26 Orthopaedic Research Program Clinical Research Award supports vital clinical research addressing orthopaedic-specific factors and interventions. It aims to generate evidence that optimizes patient outcomes and informs clinical care, benefiting Service Members, Veterans, and the public. Applications should focus on priority areas such as Ligamentous Trauma and Military Women’s Health, ensuring significant impact on patient care and mitigation of orthopaedic injuries.

The DoW Orthopaedic Applied Research Award supports innovative research aimed at improving treatment and functionality for individuals with combat-related orthopaedic injuries. Applicants are required to present preliminary data and focus on applied research that evaluates new solutions, including pharmacologic agents and rehabilitation techniques. This initiative emphasizes the importance of military relevance, aiming to benefit Service Members, their families, and Veterans, while clinical research proposals are not permitted.

Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) 

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is committed to ensuring that every Minnesotan has healthy air, sustainable lands, clean water, and a better climate.

Through the authority of state and federal statutes and guidelines, the MPCA focuses on preventing and reducing the pollution of air, land, and water, and leads Minnesota’s efforts to protect against the devastating effects of climate change. We work with regulated parties, businesses, governments, organizations, and 11 Tribal Nations in Minnesota to develop innovative, community-centered approaches that protect our natural resources, improve human health, and foster strong economic growth.

Statewide Environmental Assistance Grants - Fiscal years 2026-2028

The MPCA is offering approximately $250,000 in grant funding to help Minnesota governments, businesses, institutions, and organizations address two specific needs:

• reuse materials to reduce waste
• reduce toxic chemicals in hair products

This program's primary goals are to

• reduce waste generated in Minnesota,
• reduce greenhouse gases emitted by manufacturing new items, and
• eliminate toxic chemicals and metals from hair products to protect human health and the environment.

Training Conferences Co-Sponsorship Funds Award

These federal grant funds are intended for trainings that will assist people with developmental disabilities to increase their independence, productivity, self-determination, integration, and inclusion (IPSII) in the community.

Organizations will receive up to a $2,000 award.

Targeted audience:

People with developmental disabilities and their families, as well as advocates, providers, or professionals. The conference/training can be marketed to a local community, region of the state, or statewide. Please note your target audience(s) and encourage attendance by persons from diverse and marginalized populations.

Free Society Grants support faculty seeking to develop or expand undergraduate programming grounded in the liberal tradition. Grants are awarded based on project scope and need. The next application cycle opens March 13, 2026; the deadline is June 15, 2026. Funding decisions will be announced by August 7, 2026.

Support for Undergraduate Programming

These grants are designed for faculty who want to cultivate sustained intellectual engagement through mentorship, structured reading, and rigorous discussion—inside and beyond the classroom. The goal is not simply exposure to ideas, but intellectual formation.
