Casey Neal Rogers Memorial Scholarship

The Casey Neal Rogers Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 to honor the memory of Casey Rogers who passed away from a tragic automobile accident in 2003. Casey possessed a love of family and friends, excelled at athletics, had a sharp sense of humor, and was an honor student. The fund provides post-secondary educational scholarships for qualifying graduating high school seniors of Northumberland County High School, Northumberland County, VA.

J. Martin Diggs Memorial Scholarship

The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer Scholarship, established in 2005 by the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Petersburg, Virginia, supports graduating seniors who are communing members of the Church and plan to pursue higher education. In 2024, eligibility expanded to include students from nearby Lutheran churches. This scholarship aims to encourage academic achievement and commitment to worship among local youth, fostering community engagement and educational advancement.

The Mary Lou Lukhard Nursing Scholarship, established by the Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond in 2004, honors Mrs. Lukhard's dedication to nursing. It supports aspiring nurses from Central Virginia, including high school seniors and adult learners. Eligible applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and a commitment to community service. This scholarship aims to empower individuals pursuing nursing careers, ensuring a brighter future for healthcare in the region.

The Perry-White Scholarship, funded by The Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond, supports high school seniors from the Tri-Cities and select Chesterfield schools who demonstrate academic excellence and community involvement. Eligible students must plan to attend one of six Virginia colleges, including the College of William & Mary and VCU's pharmacy program. This scholarship aims to empower promising youth, enhancing their educational opportunities and fostering community growth.

The Virginia Randolph Scholarship, established in 1963, honors the legacy of a pioneering educator in Henrico County. Managed by The Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond, this scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic promise, community service, and financial need. It ensures a lasting tribute to Virginia Randolph’s commitment to education and helps empower the next generation of leaders in the region. Eligible students can receive tuition assistance for higher education pursuits.

The Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond

The Community Foundation of Richmond is a philanthropic organization dedicated to improving quality of life across the Richmond region by connecting people, ideas, and resources for lasting community impact. The Foundation manages charitable funds, supports local nonprofits, and leads strategic initiatives that address community priorities such as education, health, economic opportunity, and equity. Virginia Urology Center Scholarship

The Virginia Urology Center Scholarship Program was established in 1999 to benefit graduating seniors from public and private high schools in communities where Virginia Urology offices are located, including Metropolitan Richmond, the Tri-Cities, Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula and South Hill. The scholarship supports post-secondary study in the fields of science and medicine. Funds awarded will help to cover the costs of tuition, room, board, books and laboratory fees.
