Loans of $50,000 to $500,000 may be used for establishing a Rural Microloan Revolving Fund managed by the Microenterprise Development Organization. Total aggregate debt is capped at $2.5 million.

Program Purpose, Goals, and Objectives
Title IV, Part A, Subpart 1, Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) grants are designed to improve the academic achievement of all students by increasing the capacity of school systems, schools, and communities to:
Intended program beneficiaries are school systems that receive funds under Title I, Part A.
LEAs must ensure it is using Title IV, Part A, funds to supplement and not supplant State or local funds. Title IV, Part A, funds may not be used to meet State and/or local requirements.
The Texas HIV Medication Program (THMP) provides medications approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and insurance assistance for the treatment of HIV and its related complications for low-income Texans. To qualify for medications, potential clients who meet eligibility criteria must complete an application for assistance. Once approved, a client receives medications at an assigned pharmacy in their community.
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (the Department) announces a NOFA of approximately $1,000,000 in HOME funds for single family housing programs under the Contract for Deed (CFD) set-aside under a Reservation System. These funds will be made available to HOME Reservation System Participants with a current Reservation System Participation (RSP) Agreement.

The division collaborates with external field support agents appointed by the TEA Commissioner of Education to build sustainable systems aligned to core TEA initiatives, so that the school system thrives after the release of agency intervention.
Unified Champion Schools Grant
Program Description
The Unified Champion Schools grant provides funding to support statewide Unified Sports, comprehensive early child development to adult transition programs with data-based health, social, leadership, transition, and athletic programs for students with intellectual disabilities.
The intent of the grant program is to expand the reach of the Special Olympics Unified Champions project. This project uses sports as a catalyst for social inclusion that extends beyond the playing field and into classrooms and communities to promote long-term success of students with intellectual disabilities.
The Texas Unified Champion Schools (UCS) program emphasizes three core components: Inclusive Youth Leadership, Unified Sports & Activities, and Whole School Engagement. Authentic social inclusion is the overall project goal. With awarded funds, the grantee will expand the number of campuses that are able to participate in the program.
