GME Fellowship Expansion Grant - Rural Health Transformation Program
The Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce (GBHCW) announces the availability of grant funding to support the expansion of Graduate Medical Education (GME) Fellowship programs across rural Georgia through the Rural Health Transformation Program.
This initiative provides funding to rural hospitals, health systems, and academic partners to expand existing Fellowship programs by increasing Fellowship positions. The goal is to strengthen Georgia’s physician workforce by:
Funding supports a net increase in filled Fellowship slots that serve rural counties and train physicians in core specialties critical to Georgia’s healthcare workforce needs.
Fellows supported under this program must complete training and commit to practicing in Georgia for a combined training and practice duration of at least five (5) years.

Venture Miami Scholarship Fund
The City of Miami and The Miami Foundation partner with 6 local postsecondary schools to offer scholarships.
The Venture Miami Scholarship Fund provides tuition gap funding for at-need City of Miami and Little Haiti residents who have been accepted into STEM or defined-demand occupation programs at participating colleges, universities, and trade schools.

We help individuals, families, nonprofit organizations and businesses establish and manage charitable funds that carry out their philanthropic interests. Serving a geographic area of 35 counties in South Georgia, we facilitate our donors’ charitable plans and goals by creating custom designed funds that meet their specific interests and ensure solid financial management and administration for each fund.
Terri Matthews Nursing Scholarship
For a graduating senior of Thomasville High School, Thomas County Central High School, or Brookwood School in Thomasville, Georgia who intends on majoring in Nursing or a college student who is currently enrolled at Southern Regional Technical College or Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia who is already enrolled in a Nursing program. The award is based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Community Service, and Financial Need.
