City Council Project Fund (CCPF)

The City Council Project Fund was established in 2011 to provide financial support for events and programs that serve a municipal purpose and promote:

• community fitness/recreation
• community education and training

The Mayor's office and the ten Council Districts are each provided $50,000 through the City Annual Budgeting process which establishes the CCFP each fiscal year.

The Orchestral Fund aims to enhance the cultural landscape of the Watertown area by providing financial support for live orchestral performances. Eligible nonprofit organizations must consist of at least 20 instrumental performers. With funding available up to $25,000, this initiative seeks to not only promote orchestral music but also to engage the community in vibrant artistic experiences.

The Policy Campaign Grants by the Deaconess Foundation empower organizations to drive systemic change through policy advocacy and grassroots efforts. With funding up to $100,000, these grants aim to support urgent campaigns that enhance voter engagement and community organizing. The Potomac Region Chapter, formed in 2000, focuses on education, veterans, and low-income communities, with over 130 members contributing to the cause. Grants are available to nonprofits that align with these focus areas, fostering community engagement and support.

The Ray Charles Foundation Scholarship supports diversity in neurosciences by offering scholarships to third- or fourth-year undergraduate and graduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Up to two students will gain valuable experience at Cedars-Sinai, with funding for housing and relocation. Eligible applicants include U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 18 or older who are passionate about neuroscience and can arrange their accommodations in Los Angeles.

Scholarship eligibility requires students to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year public or private institution of higher learning. All scholarships are for full-time students, unless otherwise noted. Renewable awards are for 4 years of undergraduate study and cannot be used for post graduate coursework; all awards are paid directly to the school or may be used for book reimbursement.

Ryan White Part B Lead Agents NOFO

The Ryan White Part B Lead Agent Grant is a one-year competitive grant award beginning on April 1st, 2026, and funded by Ryan White Part B (RWPB) funds, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds, and IL General Revenue funds.

Ryan White Lead Agents safeguard the provision of necessary medical, support, and core Ryan White Part B services to people in Illinois living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Furthermore, Lead Agents increase the number of minority and disproportionately affected people living with HIV infected individuals receiving medical care and improve partnerships and community engagement at the local level. Ryan White Lead Agents are responsible for sustaining medical benefit initiatives that assist RWPB-eligible clients in obtaining an appropriate insurance coverage to reduce costs of services referred to above.

Ryan White Lead Agents use Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) funds to secure stable housing for the PLWHA community. Additionally, Lead Agents provide necessary housing and support services to low income, uninsured, and underinsured PLWHA in Illinois.

Ryan White Lead Agents are key partners in the Community Re-entry Project (CRP), a coordinated multistakeholder re-entry project that includes public health, corrections, medical and behavioral health, and human services providers; as well as additional stakeholders invested in the health and well-being of reentry populations, their families, and communities. The CRP has developed and refined a model re-entry program for people living with HIV and those at highest risk for HIV using Corrections Case Managers (CCMs) who provide services through a coordinated region-wide case management system. CRP provides or leverages a host of other services through the partner organizations which include outreach, health education, family reunification, substance abuse treatment, ID procurement, primary medical care, and training and technical assistance. 

The Dayton Foundation's Basic Human Needs Grants provide essential financial support to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Greater Dayton, focusing on vital necessities like food, shelter, healthcare, and clothing. Grants are awarded quarterly to eligible organizations that demonstrate a commitment to diversity and collaboration in addressing the needs of the homeless, poor, and hungry. This funding also covers operational costs and infrastructure improvements, ensuring organizations can effectively serve their communities.

The Susquehanna Riverlands Conservation Landscape Mini-Grant Program offers competitive grants ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 for projects enhancing habitat connectivity, sustainable river access, and community collaboration. This initiative is part of a collaborative effort to protect natural resources and improve quality of life along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. Applications are accepted until July 1, 2025, encouraging local nonprofits and municipalities to apply for funding that aligns with the program's goals.

WPN Grants

The Women’s Philanthropy Network (WPN), a fund of the Community Foundation of North Louisiana, is seeking applications from programs with clearly defined outcomes that address one or more of the following areas: school readiness, student achievement, attendance, literacy, numeracy, mental health, behavioral health, nutrition, and physical well-being.

The WPN plans to award one large grant in the range of $50,000 – $75,000, and one or two small grants in the range of $5,000 – $15,000.

The Nantucket Fund Grants, offered by the Community Foundation for Nantucket, aim to enhance the quality of life for island residents through targeted community projects. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) organizations, municipalities, and religious entities addressing critical needs such as mental health, housing, and senior well-being. The initiative encourages innovative, sustainable solutions that leverage additional support while fostering collaboration among local nonprofits to maximize impact and minimize service duplication.
