Best Youth Sports Grants in Arizona

The Title II Formula Grant (AZ) supports initiatives under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act by funding programs that address challenges faced by youth within the juvenile justice system. Scholarships

In partnership with our generous donors, we award millions of dollars annually to help students achieve their educational goals. Through our online system, students complete one application and are matched with available scholarships, based on their eligibility requirements.

Lake Design Foundation Scholarship

Award-winning interior designer Lawrence Lake, ASID, owner of Lawrence Lake Interiors in downtown Tempe, created the Lake Design Foundation Fund Scholarship to support students majoring in Interior Design who demonstrate outstanding creative potential. Students must be enrolled full time in undergraduate study in Interior Design and planning to pursue a career in interior design. The purpose is to identify students who will become the next generation of talent.

The Arizona Discovery Boost Grants, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, aim to enhance cancer research in Arizona by funding innovative, high-risk projects. Grants of up to $135,000 per year for two years are available, supporting researchers focused on groundbreaking methodologies and pilot tests. This initiative not only fosters local expertise but also promotes geographic diversity in cancer research, helping to address critical questions in the field.

The AZ Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP) aims to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops grown in the U.S. or its territories. Funded by the USDA, approximately $1.25 million is available for grants, with a maximum request of $100,000 per project. The Genung Scholarship

The Genung Scholarship Fund was established as a generous lasting legacy of Normal & Eleanor Genung. The scholarship is intended to support first-generation college students with gaps between their cost of attendance and financial aid package, while attending any public Arizona post-secondary institution. Recipients may be eligible to renew their awards for up to 4 years, if good academic standing is maintained.

The AZ Heritage K-12 Small Grant Program, funded by the Arizona Game and Fish Department, aims to provide up to $3000 to Arizona teachers for enhancing wildlife education in their classrooms. Applications received after the deadline may qualify for an additional scoring round if funds remain available. This initiative seeks to enrich educational experiences and promote environmental awareness among students.

The Janis Chapman Merrill Foundation Grant aims to support 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to enhancing the health, education, and welfare of children and families, as well as the homeless in Arizona. The Vitalyst Health Foundation offers Spark Grants to support Arizona-based organizations in their efforts to improve community health. Recipients must engage in the Success Services Program, maintaining a 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment. Preference is given to Tohono O’odham members, with annual renewals contingent on academic performance.

The Freeport-McMoRan Native American College Scholarship supports enrolled tribal members pursuing higher education. Funded by the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation, it offers $3,000 for four-year programs, $1,500 for two-year programs, and $5,000 for graduate studies. Additional funds for trade schools are available, capped at $15,000. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA and engage in the Success Services Program, ensuring academic and career support throughout their educational journey.

Fiscal Sponsorships

Fiscal sponsorship is a partnership that allows emerging projects and grassroots initiatives to operate under the legal and tax-exempt status of an established nonprofit organization. 

As a fiscal sponsor, we provide the financial infrastructure and oversight that enable community leaders to receive tax-deductible donations, apply for grants, and focus on their mission without forming a separate 501(c)(3).
