Projects

Project Grants are the most frequently applied for grant type, allowing a wide range of activities and events that result in positive arts experiences for the public. Project Grant proposals have included:

The Houston Arts Alliance's City's Initiative Grant Program aims to support accessible arts and cultural programming for the Houston community. Funded through the Hotel Occupancy Tax, this program emphasizes environmental awareness, neighborhood cultural engagement, and collaboration with significant conferences. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and measurable impact while adhering to strict eligibility criteria. The program seeks innovative projects that align with its funding areas, ensuring that art enriches the local culture and fosters resilience.

The ArtsKC Inspiration Grant supports individual artists and small groups in the Kansas City metropolitan area by funding ambitious projects that foster growth and positive community impact. With two distinct tracks, the Health & Healing Track focuses on non-clinical arts engagement for individual healing, while the Public Health Track aims to address public health needs through collaborative arts activities. Both tracks promote social cohesion and awareness of health determinants, fostering healthier environments for all.

The Gold Beach Community Fund Grant, administered by the Oregon Community Foundation, offers financial support for various projects aimed at enhancing Central Curry County. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) non-profits and public entities. The fund prioritizes initiatives in recreational activities, cultural enhancement, and youth-related projects. However, individuals and certain expenses like travel and payroll are ineligible for funding. Special preference is given to projects benefiting youth in the Gold Beach area.

Impact 100 Oakland Grants provide up to $100,000 to nonprofits in Oakland County, focusing on Arts & Culture, Education, Family, Health & Wellness, and Environment. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, serve local residents, and demonstrate a significant impact. Applications are accepted annually, and funds must be utilized within 36 months. Grants do not cover debt reduction, individual funding, or political activities. This initiative aims to enhance community well-being and sustainability.

The IronMountain Solutions Employee Peaks Fund, established in 2018 in partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville, supports local non-profits. With over $400,000 donated by employees, the fund prioritizes quality of life initiatives such as arts, basic needs, economic opportunity, education, environment, health, and community development. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) non-profits serving the Huntsville area, ensuring services are accessible to all community members.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund, managed by the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, aims to bolster independent arts organizations with annual budgets under $2 million. The fund supports initiatives that enhance public access to diverse cultural programming, fostering community engagement in the arts. Eligible organizations must be arts-focused, financially stable, and based in specific Georgia counties, while prioritizing equitable access for marginalized groups, particularly BIPOC-led organizations.
