The Building the Future Vocational Scholarship supports scholarships for Lake County residents to attend a public or private institution to earn a certificate or vocational/trade school degree with the intent to gain local employment.

The Mississippi Department of Mental Health is now accepting applications for a series of competitive grants made available through funding appropriated to the agency.

Consumer Education Program

This funding is to provide state-wide evidence-based support and educational programs free of charge to those living with mental illness, their caregivers, and their family members.

Educational programs are to include but are not limited to:

The Family-to-Family Education Program is a free, 12-class course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses. The course is taught by trained family members and provides current information on major mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and others; information about medications; strategies for handling crises and relapse; and most of all, how to cope successfully with a major challenge in your life, which will in turn allow you to best support your mentally ill loved one to work toward recovery.

In Our Own Voice (IOOV) unmasks mental illness using speaker stories to illustrate the individual realities of living with mental illness. Participants gain a better understanding of what it is like to live with mental illness and stay in recovery. In Our Own Voice can change attitudes, preconceived notions and stereotypes regarding mental illness.

Peer-to-Peer is a recovery-focused educational program for adults who wish to establish and maintain wellness in response to mental health challenges. The course provides critical information and strategies related to living with mental illness.

The Provider Education program helps people who work with individuals living with mental illness understand the experience of mental illness from individual and family perspectives. Through exposure to personal stories, participants may gain tools that increase their empathy and professional skills thereby improving patient care.

The Operating Support Grant from the Alaska State Council on the Arts offers funding for nonprofit arts organizations in Alaska. This grant supports ongoing artistic and administrative functions, including salaries, travel, and production costs. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) entities with a minimum annual budget of $50,000 and demonstrate a commitment to arts programming. Grant applications are limited to one per fiscal year, promoting sustainability and cultural heritage within the Alaska arts community.

The Community Action Grants - Environment program by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation aims to support organizations addressing environmental disparities in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. It prioritizes funding for groups focused on racial justice and community engagement, especially those with budgets under $3 million. The initiative encourages innovative solutions to climate challenges while fostering community involvement in shaping environmental policies. This grant opportunity underscores the importance of creating equitable, sustainable environments for underserved populations.

The Dell Scholars Program, established by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, provides scholarships and support to empower students in their journey towards college graduation. It offers flexible funding for tuition, housing, and essential expenses, ensuring students can focus on their education. Alongside financial aid, scholars receive academic coaching, career guidance, and mental health resources, fostering resilience and success. Since 2004, it has helped over 6,000 scholars, including 4,500 graduates, achieve their academic goals.

Notice of Intent/Discharge Cost-Share Grants

Eligibility & Purpose:

The DNR and the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) offer cost-share funding grants to governmental units working with owners and operators of livestock operations to meet pollution control requirements imposed by the DNR.

The SEH Grants in Herpetology will be available in 2025, offering two grants of up to EUR 5,000 each. These grants aim to support conservation projects for amphibians and reptiles in Europe and the Mediterranean. The SEH Conservation Committee evaluates applications based on conservation value, project feasibility, budget, and scientific justification. Young researchers are particularly encouraged to apply, enhancing the future of herpetological conservation efforts.

The State of South Carolina is an entitlement state, as designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD, and receives federal formula funding to address housing and community development needs statewide. 

The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program addresses the need for emergency shelter by funding shelters who provide services outlined by HUD to those who are currently homeless. The State Office of Economic Opportunity works closely with all four regional CoCs to identify needs and direct funds for emergency shelter services. 

The ESG program is a competitive grant issued each year to community-based shelters and traditional housing facilities, non-profit organizations that provide housing and counseling assistance to the state's homeless population and to those at-risk of becoming homeless.

The Loudoun Chamber Foundation Grant, established in 2014, supports 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations serving Loudoun County. Grants of $2,000 to $5,000 prioritize economic development, education, public safety, and community health. Organizations must demonstrate their commitment to community welfare and the Foundation's objectives. Priority is given to Chamber members. Eligible applicants must publicize the grants and are encouraged to align their missions with the Foundation's strategic goals for impactful community contributions.

The Sharon Center School Millennium Fund, supported by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, aims to enrich the educational experiences of students and teachers at Sharon Center School. Established to foster excellence, the fund supports diverse projects such as independent studies, new programs, extracurricular activities, and professional development for teachers. It prioritizes proposals that engage volunteer efforts and demonstrate additional support, ensuring lasting impact within the community.

The Architecture + Design Independent Projects Grants program, a collaboration between the New York State Council on the Arts and The Architectural League of New York, offers 25 grants of $10,000 each for innovative design proposals. Open to individuals and teams in various design fields, including architecture and graphic design, this initiative encourages creative exploration and public engagement with design. Applications will be evaluated by a panel of design experts, ensuring support for impactful projects that advance the discipline.

The Sanitary & Storm Sewer Funding program supports projects aimed at improving wastewater treatment and storm water management in South Dakota. Grants and low-interest loans are available, with eligibility contingent on inclusion in the State Water Facilities Plan. Additional subsidies may be granted based on established water rates and economic development needs. Applications are accepted quarterly, and projects must meet specific requirements to qualify for funding.

The Women's Fund of Central New York, established in 1998, empowers women and girls through grants and initiatives, promoting their advancement and full participation in the community. With a commitment to diversity and inclusion, the fund supports innovative projects that address key challenges faced by women and girls in Central New York. By fostering collaboration and community engagement, the Women's Fund aims to create a stronger, more equitable society for all.

The purpose of the Program is to increase access to affordable and reliable electric vehicle (EV) charging networks and reduce transportation greenhouse gas emissions throughout Maryland, and especially in overburdened communities.

The Small Community Planning Grant Program offers financial assistance to small communities for water and wastewater infrastructure management. Eligible entities can receive up to $10,000 for engineering studies, covering 80% of costs. The program aims to help communities develop necessary engineering reports for their projects. To qualify, communities must serve populations of 2,500 or fewer and meet specific eligibility criteria. This proactive approach ensures that essential infrastructure needs are addressed effectively.

The Altrusa International Grant, managed by the Madison Community Foundation, supports projects that empower children and youth in education, aid workforce reintegration, and encourage lifelong learning. Established in 1942, the foundation has a mission to foster a generous community through impactful charitable giving. Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000, with an average of $1,200, aimed at making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in Madison and Dane County.

The Environmental Preservation & Animal Welfare Grant aims to enhance the natural beauty and animal welfare in North Central Massachusetts. This endowed fund supports initiatives such as habitat restoration, animal rescue, and environmental education. Eligible applicants include tax-exempt nonprofits and municipalities within the region. The grant emphasizes public access to natural areas and promotes humane treatment of animals through advocacy and education, ensuring community engagement in environmental stewardship.

The Illinois Ornithological Society Grant Program, established in 2004, aims to foster scientific research and education about birds in Illinois. Since its inception, it has awarded 140 grants totaling over $137,000 to students, professionals, and organizations engaged in bird-related projects. Eligible applicants must be IOS members and can propose projects that promote research, education, accessibility, and equity in the avian field, thereby enhancing public awareness of Illinois' birdlife.

The Primary Instruction by Volunteers Grant aims to enhance adult basic education services for eligible adults unable to enroll in traditional classes. With a funding pool of approximately $500,000, the program targets around 1,000 adult learners annually, focusing on effective one-on-one tutoring by trained volunteers. Priorities include curriculum alignment with educational standards, building college and career readiness skills, and ensuring compliance with funding regulations. This initiative is designed to provide vital educational opportunities and support for adult learners across the Commonwealth.

Marketing to Attract Marquis Events (MTAME) / Marquis Events Grant Program

The 2026 Marquis Events Grant Program was established by Tourism Promotion Fund legislation (Act 109 of 2018) and funded by Section 1934-A(e) of Act 45 of 2025 (P.L. 156, No. 45). This program seeks to promote the Commonwealth as a premium host of large-scale events by providing the funds necessary to secure and execute large-scale events at world-class levels. To accomplish this goal, the Office of Tourism will establish a grant program for entities responsible for hosting major events—such as sports tournaments and series, large-format public festivals, multi-day cultural or sports activations, fan zones, or signature celebrations.

The Greater Lake Superior Foundation Grant Program provides $2000 grants annually to support graduate research on Coaster Brook Trout in Lake Superior and its tributaries. Eligible applicants must be graduate students from accredited universities in Michigan, Minnesota, Ontario, or Wisconsin, focusing on Fisheries Management, Limnology, Ecology, or Biology. Research topics include habitat requirements, migratory behavior, and management activities. Recipients must submit a project summary for publication on the GLSF website.

The Hill Country Rally Grant aims to support children in need within the Texas Hill Country by redistributing funds to 501(c)3 organizations or directly assisting youth. Through its annual event, the foundation raises awareness and meets essential needs for kids, including education, healthcare, and recreational opportunities. The grant prioritizes support for organizations helping vulnerable children while maintaining a commitment to renewal grants for ongoing projects that show significant progress towards their goals.
