Search Through Financial Assistance Grants in Florida

The average grant size ranges from $2,500 to $20,000. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt under specific IRS codes and operate primarily in Lake County, Florida.

The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) by the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service in Florida provides crucial support to farmers and landowners for implementing conservation practices. The CFPBMC Year-Round Grant supports nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. It encourages projects aligned with four focus areas: Capacity Building, Economic Opportunity, Education and Youth, and Thriving Communities. Grants can reach up to $75,000 and are awarded based on a competitive process. Interested organizations must submit a Letter of Inquiry and may be invited to submit a full proposal based on their alignment with the foundation's mission and strategic goals.

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) offers education grants for Florida organizations, providing up to $7,500 for single-county projects and up to $15,000 for multi-county initiatives. These grants aim to enhance educational outreach regarding breast cancer through various formats, including one-on-one sessions and virtual technology. Eligible applicants include Florida-based non-profits and educational institutions. Funding supports projects that last a minimum of 12 months and require at least two educational sessions during the grant period.

The Hubert E. Sapp Regular Grant Cycle, by Southern Partners Fund, aims to empower rural communities in the Southeastern U.S. through grassroots leadership and organizing. The fund provides support to nonprofit organizations focused on social, economic, and environmental justice. Eligible applicants are community-based organizations with budgets under $350,000. The initiative honors Hubert E. Sapp's legacy, promoting equitable relationships that drive real transformation and community decision-making.

Our programs and activities are so varied and extensive, they touch the life of just about every Floridian.

T. Mark Schmidt Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Program

The purpose of the T. Mark Schmidt Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Program (hereinafter referred to as the OHV Grant Program) is to provide financial assistance to Applicants as further defined below, to provide or improve off-highway vehicle recreational areas or trails for public use on Public Lands. Through the Off-Highway Vehicle Tilting Program, the state of Florida has been allocated funds for implementing this program. The primary purpose of the OHV Grant Program is to provide and/or improve off-highway riding opportunities on Public Lands by establishing and/or maintaining existing or new riding areas; provide enforcement of applicable regulations to the System and off-highway vehicle activities; provide safety, training and rider education in the operation of off-highway vehicles and if funds are available, acquire lands to be included in the System and manage and rehabilitate such lands. Grant awards are recommended by the Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Advisory Committee annually, with final approval by the Commissioner of Agriculture, and appropriated by the Florida Legislature.

Grant Categories

There are five grant categories:

Pre-Construction – Planning, Design, and Permitting of New OHV Areas, Trails and/or Facilities, or expansion of existing OHV Areas.

Construction – Construction of New OHV Areas, Trails and/or Facilities, or expansion of existing riding areas.

Maintenance and Monitoring: A) Repair, Maintenance, Rehabilitation of Existing OHV Areas, Trails, or Facilities. B) Monitoring and Protection of Existing OHV Areas, Trails, or Facilities.

Education: A) Rider Education, Safety, and Training Program. B) Education Outreach.

Acquisition – Acquisition of lands to be included in the System.

The TMF: Safe Communities Program, established by The Miami Foundation, aims to enhance safety and opportunities for all residents of Greater Miami. Focused on education, economic mobility, and health services, the program supports survivors of human trafficking and gun violence. It offers grants to nonprofits working in areas like crime prevention, survivor assistance, and youth development. With a commitment to community investment, the program collaborates with over 1,000 fundholders to ensure a safe, thriving environment for all.
