The Arts Learning in Schools and In Community grant by New Mexico Arts supports arts education for K-12 students in both school and community settings. It invites applications from charter schools, 501(c)(3) private schools, and organizations. This initiative emphasizes creative arts activities, integration into other subjects, and professional development for educators. Eligible organizations can renew applications for subsequent funding cycles, ensuring continued support for impactful arts programs.

Elizabeth Miller Watkins Memorial Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Elizabeth Miller Watkins Scholarship is to assist women students of outstanding scholastic achievement and demonstrated financial need in completing their college education at KU.

Amount: Awards of up to $2,000 per semester will be made to each recipient

Recipients who meet ongoing eligibility requirements may apply for renewal annually.

The CMCF Education Endowment Grant Program aims to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Central Montcalm area. Funded by the Central Montcalm Community Foundation, this program provides grants and scholarships for student enrichment initiatives, promoting learning and self-esteem. The foundation ensures that the annual earnings from endowed funds support long-term community needs while maintaining the principal for future generations. Teachers and administrators are encouraged to apply for these grants to foster educational growth.

Go-Long Scholarship Fund

The Go-Long mantra is to give of oneself, live life fully and to never give up. The Go-Long team was formed in 2002 when a group of football-loving friends decided to give back. Go-Long decided they would seek to enrich the lives of young people who aspired to attend college. They did this by creating a yard work and neighborhood beautification business, in which 100% of all earnings would go to the Go-Long Scholarship Fund. In addition, the Go-Long volunteer team provides scholarship recipients with neighborhood beautification service projects, which raise funds to fuel the next class of Go-Long scholars.

The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to students in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

Students receiving the scholarship will be expected to complete at least 8 hours of community service when they receive the award.

Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments in August and January. Scholarship amounts may vary and are non-renewable.

For 30 years, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation has served as a partner in philanthropy to credit unions, with a mission to empower and inspire credit unions in the Carolinas through collaborative opportunities to enrich our communities. A great example of this collaborative philanthropy is our scholarship program. 

More than 20 credit unions in North Carolina and South Carolina have active managed funds at the Foundation. The generosity of these credit unions helps hundreds of high school seniors as well as undergraduate and graduate students receive scholarship funds each year.

 Blue Flame Credit Union Scholarship Fund

Most families need scholarship help when it comes to paying for college for their children.

Academic Scholarships for Full-Time Students

As a benefit of membership, Blue Flame Credit Union provides eligible student members with the opportunity to apply for scholarships through the Carolina’s Credit Union Foundation. Applications are generally available beginning mid December, with scholarships usually being awarded the following May.

The Tree Campus Higher Education Program, led by the National Arbor Day Foundation, encourages colleges and universities to enhance their campuses through tree planting and maintenance. By meeting five key standards, institutions can earn recognition and foster community pride. This initiative promotes environmental health, supports mental well-being among students, and educates future generations on sustainability. Participating schools benefit from resources and recognition, making campuses more livable and green, ultimately contributing to the health of our planet.

Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri Inc. was established in 2009 as a 501(c)3 public charity to help donors support their favorite charities while receiving maximum tax advantage.

We serve as a vehicle for charitable giving, helping donors give to the causes they care about. Donor gifts will strengthen nonprofits increasing programs and services. 

Harter, Cody Michael Memorial Scholarship

This fund was established in memory of Cody Michael Harter by The Harter family and the 180th Airlift Squadron Association to provide academic scholarships to graduating seniors of St. Joseph, MO High Schools.

Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in August.

The Neil Lancaster Scholarship, established by the Nebraska Community Foundation, supports Plattsmouth high school seniors and PHS graduates who are college sophomores to seniors. This scholarship aims to empower local students to pursue higher education by providing financial assistance that may be renewable for subsequent years. The initiative reflects the foundation's commitment to fostering community growth and supporting educational opportunities, ensuring that aspiring students have the resources needed to achieve their academic goals.

The Edgar Community Scholarship, established by the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, aims to support Edgar High School graduates in their educational pursuits. This scholarship ensures that financial barriers do not hinder talented students from achieving their dreams, whether in college, university, or technical training. It emphasizes academic achievement, work ethic, and community involvement, while also considering financial need. The scholarship embodies the community's commitment to fostering local talent and enhancing educational opportunities.

The D.C. Everest Alumni Scholarship aims to support students pursuing careers in skilled trades, addressing the workforce's critical need for trades professionals. Established by the Class of 1974, it provides financial assistance for education, tools, and equipment, helping to transform career aspirations into reality. Applications are evaluated based on commitment to trades, community impact, and financial need, emphasizing the importance of skilled trades in our economy.

New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH)

The New Jersey Department of Health leads the state’s response to public health challenges and works to improve health outcomes for all New Jersey residents. Through its three primary branches—Public Health Services, Health Systems, and Integrated Health—the Department collaborates across programs and partners to strengthen New Jersey’s health system. Guided by its mission to protect public health, promote healthy communities, and improve the quality of health care, the Department supports initiatives that advance prevention, system integration, and equitable access to health services statewide.

Oral Health Carries Prevention Program

To provide reimbursement for the delivery of nutrition education and counseling following three successive nutritional counseling dental visits to Medicaid eligible or uninsured children ages 5-18, and their attending caregiver/parent/guardian, when the child is determined by screening per the CAMBRA caries risk assessment tool to be at a medium to high-risk for dental caries and to simultaneously ensure that dental sealants are placed on all teeth eligible for sealants (all permanent and primary teeth having unsealed, pit and fissures that are caries and restoration free) and as per N.J.A.C. 10-56 (the Medicaid Dental Manual). Documentation of existing intact non defective sealants, restorations, caries, and any posterior teeth that do not have pits or fissures (only grooves) on otherwise eligible teeth not being sealed is required as is documentation of who is providing the nutritional counseling and to who the counseling is directed. Successive visits should be spaced apart to enable both an assessment of the patient’s diet and subsequently an assessment of the effectiveness of the first two counseling sessions.

The Names Family Foundation, established by Scott and Sis Names in 1996, is dedicated to enhancing community health and wellness through sports and physical education. Inspired by their humble beginnings, the foundation supports nonprofit organizations that promote healthy lifestyles and athletic opportunities, primarily in the Pierce County region. Their philanthropic commitment reflects the belief that everyone deserves access to sports and the chance to lead a healthy life, impacting lives today and for future generations.

The Aaron Worley Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, provides a $1,000 award to a deserving senior student from Howard County High Schools. This scholarship aims to honor Aaron Worley by recognizing students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service, academics, and sportsmanship. Eligible applicants must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 and plan to pursue higher education or vocational training.

The Doug Parker Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, provides $2,500 to a deserving senior high school student in Howard County who demonstrates commitment to community service, academics, and sportsmanship. Applicants must maintain an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to attend a college or trade school. This scholarship supports students who exemplify the values of dedication and excellence, helping them achieve their educational goals.

Allen, Mollie J and Nelson G Scholarship

This fund was established to provide academic scholarships to graduating seniors of Northwest Missouri intending to pursue a degree in education at a 2 or 4-year college/university or a Vocational degree/certificate at a 2-year college or Vocational/Technical School.

There are two types of this scholarship: Scholarship 1 and Scholarship 2

One recipient will be chosen for each scholarship. Scholarship 1 is awarded on an annual basis and is renewable for up to 4 years with disbursements in August and January. Scholarship 2 is awarded on an annual basis and is renewable for up to 2 years if needed. 

Scholarship 1

The students eligible shall be graduating seniors of a high school within the 18-county region of The Community Foundation intending to pursue a degree in education (elementary or secondary) through a two or four-year college and/or university. 

Scholarship 1 renewing students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher their freshman year and 2.5 or higher the remaining 3 years to be eligible.

The Freeman K. Hill Teen Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, provides a $1,500 award to a senior student in Howard County. Eligible students must demonstrate their religious faith through good citizenship, community service, and academic excellence, maintaining an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher through Grade 12. This scholarship supports students planning to attend college or trade school, fostering their educational and personal growth.

The Clovis Community Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations aimed at enhancing culture, arts, and recreation in Clovis. With a maximum award of $10,000, projects must directly benefit Clovis citizens and focus on capital facilities or programs. Eligible applicants must have a tax ID, submit a concise proposal, and include letters of support. The foundation emphasizes partnerships and aims to foster philanthropic efforts that enrich the community's quality of life.

The Ryan Jones Animal Welfare Grant, established in memory of Ryan Jones, supports animal welfare organizations in Shiawassee County. It prioritizes programs that ensure humane care for cats and may fund initiatives like spay/neuter for feral cat colonies. Grants vary in amount based on available funding and are awarded to qualifying tax-exempt non-profits, schools, and governmental entities dedicated to charitable purposes.

The Memorial Healthcare and Memorial Healthcare Foundation Community Health and Education Fund supports health outreach programs for residents of Shiawassee County. Established in memory of local soldiers from World War I, this fund aids non-profits, schools, and governmental entities that provide charitable services. Memorial Healthcare serves over 88,000 residents through its main hospital and satellite locations, ensuring access to high-quality health services in the region.

The PFC Shane W. Cantu Memorial Fund honors the memory of a brave soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan. Established by his mother, Jennifer Clarke, the fund supports veterans' programs and projects in Shiawassee County, ensuring Shane's legacy lives on. This grant provides vital funding to qualifying organizations, including non-profits, schools, and municipalities, dedicated to serving those who served our country. Together, we remember Shane's spirit and commitment to community.

The B.A.A. Gives Back Grant Program, established by the Boston Athletic Association, supports nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts that promote health and fitness through running. Grants ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 are awarded annually to initiatives that enhance community engagement and wellness. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) registered or public agencies and align with the B.A.A.’s mission to foster healthy lifestyles. This initiative plays a crucial role in expanding access to sports and building vibrant communities across Greater Boston.

The Jon Grove Memorial Scholarship, valued at $2,500, supports Howard County Public High School seniors whose lives have been affected by cancer. Offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, this scholarship encourages students with a minimum 2.0 GPA to pursue further education at a college, university, or trade school. It aims to recognize and assist those who have demonstrated resilience in the face of adversity, fostering hope and opportunity for impacted families.

The Nikole Hannah-Jones Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, awards $5,000 to two Black students in their senior year at Howard County Public Schools. Eligible applicants must plan to attend a college or university and maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA. Previous recipients may reapply for subsequent years if they remain enrolled in good academic standing. This initiative supports promising students as they pursue higher education.

The Phyllis Utterback Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, provides a $2,000 award to a senior student attending a Howard County public school. This scholarship prioritizes students who demonstrate a commitment to education and family, and who plan to pursue a degree in secondary education. Eligible applicants must maintain an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher through their junior year and into their first semester of senior year.

Federal Charter Schools Program (CSP) Grant

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education (ED) to increase charter school quality and authorizer accountability. The three objectives identified in MDE’s application to ED are designed to support a landscape of high-quality/high-performing charter schools that all parents from all communities can access by making informed decisions about the best education choices for their children through empowered access to information.

Ethnic Studies 5-12 Courses: Community-Centered Knowledge Competitive Grant

Under Minnesota Statutes 2025, section 120B.251, legislation passed requiring all districts and charters to offer ethnic studies, including offering a high school ethnic studies course and integrated K-8 ethnic studies instruction. The purpose of the grant is to support districts and charters in the development, evaluation, and implementation of new 5-12 ethnic studies courses.

Minnesota School Districts, Charter Schools, Tribally Controlled Schools, Intermediate School Districts, and Cooperative Units are eligible for funding. Fiscal Year 2025 Ethnic Studies grant recipients are not eligible to apply for this round of funding.

All proposed grant projects must align with Minnesota’s definition of ethnic studies as stated in Minnesota Statutes 2025, section 120B.25.

The grant will provide three levels of support:

• Grant requests of up to $50,000 to support inter-district, co-op, or tribal school collaborations to develop new ethnic studies courses, which could include charter schools and their geographic district LEA.
• Grant requests of up to $50,000 to support district-level applicants to develop new ethnic studies courses, including charter and tribal schools which are independent LEAs.
• Grant requests of up to $50,000 to support school-level applicants to develop new ethnic studies courses, which could support individual or teams of educators working with their building administration.

Total amount available: approximately $665,000.00 per fiscal year

Maximum grant request amount: $50,000.00

Foundation funds are used to provide grants to non-profit organizations and scholarships to area students. The Foundation also hosts a Youth Engagement in Philanthropy (YEP) program, which helps high school students learn more about philanthropy and empowers them to make a difference in the community.

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley serves the City of Aurora, Kane County, and Kendall County within the State of Illinois.

Zonta Club of Aurora Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Zonta Club of Aurora Scholarship Endowment Fund was established to recognize academically talented female students graduating from a high school located in the City of Aurora.

Eligible students must have earned an overall grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale and also must be able to demonstrative positive values in the areas of character and leadership.

Zonta is an international professional business woman’s organization promoting improvement in the status and education of women through community service, study and action. The Aurora Club was established in 1959.

Winteringham Family Permanent Endowment Fund

The Winteringham Family Permanent Endowment Fund was established through a generous bequest received from the estate of Marian Winteringham

Marian (1901-1994) taught in the West Aurora School System for over forty years. For the first half of her career, she taught at Abraham Lincoln and Nancy Hill Elementary Schools. In the early 1940s, she joined the faculty of West Aurora High School, where she taught English and also served as Dean of Women for many years.

This fund was created by Marian as a memorial to her parents Arthur J. and Minnie Winteringham, her sister Claire Winteringham, and her brother and sister-in-law Sidney and Frederika Winteringham. Although her bequest was unrestricted, Marian requested that at least a portion of her gift be used to provide scholarships for students entering the field of teaching.
