The Arts Everywhere grant program provides funding for cultural projects, programs, exhibitions, series, arts education projects, and other arts programming. This program provides funding for educational institutions, arts organizations, and community service non-profits to use the arts to increase student success, foster creative thinking, develop critical job skills, enhance community development, and increase participation in the arts across Kansas. Projects must relate to an arts and culture discipline (music, dance, theatre, creative writing, literature, painting, sculpture, folk arts, photography, crafts, media arts, visual arts, programs of museums, and other such allied, major art forms).

Match Requirements: KAC requires that all grants are matched at a minimum of 1:1 through a combination of cash and in-kind expenses.

Arts Everywhere grants are awarded in four categories:

Description

This program of projects is funded by a US EPA Clean Ports Program award that will support the deployment of zero-emission freight-handling equipment such as locomotives, trucks, forklifts, and more. There is also funding for on-site solar generation and battery storage.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is non-competitive and only open to the six entities that IEPA solicited through a public Call for Partners process in 2024 and then worked with the entities to apply for a successful Clean Ports Deployment grant to US EPA.

FTA Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities: Low or Zero-Emission Program

Purpose

The Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities program (49 U.S.C. 5339) makes Federal resources available to States and designated recipients to replace, rehabilitate and purchase buses and related equipment and to construct bus-related facilities including technological changes or innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles or facilities. Funding is provided through formula allocations and competitive grants. 

• Low-No Program funds will be awarded competitively for the purchase or lease of buses that use low- or no-emission propulsion technologies, including related equipment or facilities.
• Any zero-emission project or components of a zero-emission project must use 5 percent of Federal funds for workforce development, unless the applicant certifies less or no funding is needed for this purpose.

Eligible Activities

Established in 1987, the Foundation aims to enhance community quality of life through diverse programs in arts, health, education, and more. Eligible organizations must meet specific requirements, including tax-exempt status. The Foundation prioritizes applications with matching funds at its discretion, fostering a collaborative approach to community enrichment.

The Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) Competitive Grants focus on underutilization of crop insurance projects to enhance agricultural producers' economic viability. Health Care for the Homeless Senior Mobile Medical Outreach Teams (SMMO)

Senior Mobile Medical Outreach Team Description

The goal of the senior mobile medical outreach (SMMO) team is to provide services that assess and address the medical, behavioral health and social service needs of low-income older adults (aged 55+) in King County. SMMO services should include a mix of outreach, medical services, behavioral health services and social services. Services delivered in this model will be nurse-led and informed by stakeholder engagement regarding local needs.

In consideration of the geographic diversity of King County, PHSKC envisions that applicants will need to develop separate and distinct approaches to serve urban/suburban and rural residents of King County. Applicants may apply to serve one or both areas of geographic focus, and funds may be awarded to up to two agencies.

The Eastern Bank Foundation provides Impact Grants aimed at enhancing Economic Inclusion and Mobility for Low to Moderate Income (LMI) individuals and families. With a focus on advancing equity in small businesses, enriching early childhood development, ensuring affordable housing, and promoting workforce development, the foundation invested over $16 million in local organizations last year. Apprenticeships on the Move
